I have hired Andre twice now and he does not disappoint. He shows up early, is so friendly and knows how to read a crowd. He brought a partner with him both times and they have been amazing. We got the photo booth the second time and I highly recommend that, everyone had so much fun and the pictures were great. He knows how to get the crowd dancing, and when to bring it down for announcements he even has fun games. He is my go to in Havasu I want to have another party just to hire him. read more

Ben appointed DJ Andre for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. The coordinator at the venue informed me that Andre came to the venue the night before to check out the layout and the speaker system, etc. For the ceremony, he took care of her entrance music, and any other background music we needed during the ceremony, and of course for the procession out. He MC'd the reception, guided us with timing to make a good flow for the evening, and made everyone feel comfortable with their requests. I had many compliments on his DJ'ing!! read more

I wish I could give zero stars.. my wedding was ruined because of Irving's poor performance and bad attitude Ben was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and we were so excited to have him! He was not available for our wedding date so, we were assigned to Irving. As we were planning our event and coordinating everything, he seemed accommodating and excited to do our event. We sent in our event layout rough draft so he could get an idea of how we wanted our night to run. Once we filled in the gaps more and tweaked some things, we sent over our final draft and went over every detail with Irving over the phone. Fast forward to the wedding day...Irving was late to our ceremony and was running around like a crazy person trying to set up his equipment before we started. Now, I'm not a DJ or a musical performer but I would think sound check a few hours before an event would be an obvious necessity. My husband walked with his mother to the wrong version of the song we chose, then there was dead air between then and when our court started their walks. My flower girl and ring bearer were waiting for their musical que to start walking and....nothing...speaker feed back...silence. This went on for a good 2-5 minutes which is a long time when your waiting to walk down the isle! Well, the music eventually came on.. my husband and I are married, and we are supposed to have an exit song ... more silence... Once photos were over, it was time for our grand entrance! He got the names of our court wrong, forgot to announce or maid of honor and best man, and screwed up the entrance songs. He even announced the wrong events at the wrong times and played the wrong version of our first dance song. He had no energy when he announced things. We come to find out, he brought the ROUGH DRAFT of our event form to the wedding! We were livid and told him he needed to get his act together. That's when the bad attitude really came out. He refused to do what we wanted, yelled at my brother for trying to request a song, and laughed at my husband to "keep from cussing him out". He even left his station and called security because HE felt threatened! My guests were leaving too early because he left and we didnt have any music or anything going on! We fired him so fast when he came back with the security he thought he needed. Mind you, my husband is a sheriff. And we had over 30 of his partners there, TRYING to celebrate with us. These were just some of things that made our wedding night an absolute trainwreck. Long story short, if you're planning an event and you get Irving as a DJ, find someone else. read more

DJ Ben was awesome! I can't say enough good things about him! Our Story: My fiancé and I got married in Laughlin NV on July 15. We live in California so finding someone to DJ our wedding was hard. We found Ben and are so thankful we did. He walked us through everything on the phone so on the day of the wedding we weren't nervous at all. This is my second marriage and let me tell you, your DJ can make or break your reception! Ben made our wedding so much fun. We have family members that talk about how much our wedding was every time we see them. Ben was professional, entertaining (without being obnoxious or cheesy), and a natural! He is really excellent at what he does. His music selection was on point and I danced the night away! I would, in a heartbeat, recommend him to everyone who's looking for a great DJ!! ~D'Lyn read more

Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better DJ. Our wedding was a blast and we owe a big part of it to Ben. Our focus wasn't around dancing and that was no problem. We were pretty easy-going when it came to the wedding itinerary and didn't actually give Ben much direction. He took that flexibility and ran with it. He engaged our guests with trivia, surveys, and little mini games to get the party flowing. There's no doubt that Ben can make your wedding amazing. Hire him. Seriously. You'll thank me for it! read more

Ben was our DJ at our wedding 2 years ago.He did an amazing job with the crowd. At a wedding there so much stress with pictures and timing. How ever coordinated we we were it really didn't go the way we wanted it to. Ben entertained the guests so well that they didn't feel the time. All our guests said one thing in common, didn't go for a wedding like ours... Lots of fun.. He will DJ my son's wedding for sure... He has great confidence in what he does. . read more

DJ Ben was so fun!!! We booked him for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Our ceremony ran behind but DJ Ben kept the reception running smoothly and on time. My bridesmaids asked me if I had any requests for the DJ and I kept telling them, "No, I love everything he is playing!" We also opted for the photo booth. It was the best choice!!! Everyone had a blast using it and my husband and I got copies sent to our email of ALL the photo booth pix!! DJ Ben was so charming, fun, interactive and our guests keep talking about what a great job he did. Thank you so much, Ben!!! read more

Seriously look no farther!!! Ben is the perfect Dj there is!!! He is so personal and keeps things so alive! We had him at our house for a smaller reception after our wedding and he was amazing!! He responds so quickly to any questions you might have and was a huge help! He even made sure we got to eat by grabbing us two food plates and sitting them aside! Truly awesome! Thanks again Ben! read more

We used Ben for our wedding in Laughlin, NV at the Aquarius hotel this past weekend. What can I say, he was AWESOME! My guests could not stop talking about how wonderful he was, and I have to agree. He played exactly what we requested and talked about. We actually ran early on the reception, and he was there and ready to accommodate. He had our crowd dancing all over the dance floor. It was so wonderful. His prices were great too. I called around and all the others were outrageous with their prices. He worked with my budget and was fantastic. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a DJ/entertainer service. read more

If anyone ever needs a recommendation or if I need a DJ in the future for another event I am definitely going to Ben!! read more

Ben is AWESOME!! My husband and I had our wedding at The 1909 in Topanga Canyon. Our wedding coordinator highly recommended Ben and we couldn't be more ecstatic with our choice! We had two phone consultations and he provided the easiest, most stress-free information. Initially, we didn't want to hire a DJ, because we had been to so many weddings that had tacky DJs and terrible, cheesy music. We have friends that have paid an arm and leg for bad DJs. We are so happy that we found Ben!!! BEN IS THE BEST!!!! Our family and friends are still raving about how wonderful he is!! Ben played the best music and accommodated each of our requests. He followed our timeline perfectly and played all our favorite music. He kept our guests happy and dancing and we couldn't be happier. A month later, I still have people telling me that our wedding had the best music and dancing they've ever experienced. Thank you Ben for making our wedding celebration a party to remember!!! read more

DJ Ben Thomas was beyond amazing. We just got married on Sunday in Laughlin and that very night I was already thinking about how I had to write a great yelp review. I have never been to a wedding where the DJ actually engaged with guests and played games. It was so unique and made everyone have a great time. He had everyone dancing all night and nobody wanted the party to end. If you're thinking of booking him PLEASE stop thinking and just do it!! You will not regret it, I promise you that. Oh and if youre thinking of getting a photo booth rent it through Ben it is definitely worth it. All our guests couldn't get enough of it. All in all Ben was the highlight of the reception. read more

My husband and I just got married in our backyard and did a completely DIY wedding. We did not have a coordinator or venue to provide a DJ, so I researched online to see who I could find. Ben had great reviews everywhere I looked, so I texted him to see if he was available for our date. Luckily he was, and booking him was the best decision we made! Ben worked with us to accommodate our music style. He helped me map out the entire evening. He riled up the crowd. Literally did everything you'd hope for! He was easy to get ahold of and work with. And when I initially contacted him he genuinely seemed like he wanted the job and would make an effort to make our night special, which he certainly did :) Book him now! read more

Our guests will not stop talking about how great our DJ was and that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to! There was no dead time! Everyone was dancing the entire night! The games that Ben plays are a fun tie in for the guests and bride and groom! He is so easy to talk to and really knows what he is doing! We would use him over and over again if we could! :) We also used the photo booth and videography service. The photo booth was a great hit and we can't wait to see the video! Ben DJed my extremely small (30 people) outdoor wedding. I was hesitant at first because we did not talk until about 3 days before the wedding, but it was scheduled that way. Ben played every single song I had listed for him and was even able to add songs I gave him the day of. He very quickly and flawlessly changed his normal routines to fit the crowd. For example, for the couples dance, he started with 'if you've been married for 20 years' and there was only one couple. He smoothly invited all couples to the dance floor- married or not. Another example was for the bouquet toss; there were only 2 singles ladies at my wedding. Again, he invited every woman up to participate. Between dinner and the reception, he hosted multiple (3-4) games that everyone was engaged in. If he played a song that people were not into, he merged it with another song within a few seconds and then faded it out. It was hardly noticeable and was done immediately. People of all ages and generations were dancing until the very end. Ben even offered to stay later than scheduled since everyone was enjoying themselves so much. Two of our guests gave us money to tip him in addition to my husband and I. He is an AMAZING entertainer and definitely is comfortable with what he does! read more
