I have hired Andre twice now and he does not disappoint. He shows up early, is so friendly and knows how to read a crowd. He brought a partner with him both times and they have been amazing. We got the photo booth the second time and I highly recommend that, everyone had so much fun and the pictures were great. Ben appointed DJ Andre for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. The coordinator at the venue informed me that Andre came to the venue the night before to check out the layout and the speaker system, etc. For the ceremony, he took care of her entrance music, and any other background music we needed during the ceremony, and of course for the procession out. I wish I could give zero stars.. my wedding was ruined because of Irving's poor performance and bad attitude Ben was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and we were so excited to have him! He was not available for our wedding date so, we were assigned to Irving. As we were planning our event and coordinating everything, he seemed accommodating and excited to do our event. We sent in our event layout rough draft so he could get an idea of how we wanted our night to run. Once we filled in the gaps more and tweaked some things, we sent over our final draft and went over every detail with Irving over the phone. Fast forward to the wedding day...Irving was late to our ceremony and was running around like a crazy person trying to set up his equipment before we started. Now, I'm not a DJ or a musical performer but I would think sound check a few hours before an event would be an obvious necessity. My husband walked with his mother to the wrong version of the song we chose, then there was dead air between then and when our court started their walks. My flower girl and ring bearer were waiting for their musical que to start walking and....nothing...speaker feed back...silence. This went on for a good 2-5 minutes which is a long time when your waiting to walk down the isle! Well, the music eventually came on.. my husband and I are married, and we are supposed to have an exit song ... more silence... Once photos were over, it was time for our grand entrance! He got the names of our court wrong, forgot to announce or maid of honor and best man, and screwed up the entrance songs. He even announced the wrong events at the wrong times and played the wrong version of our first dance song. He had no energy when he announced things. We come to find out, he brought the ROUGH DRAFT of our event form to the wedding! We were livid and told him he needed to get his act together. That's when the bad attitude really came out. He refused to do what we wanted, yelled at my brother for trying to request a song, and laughed at my husband to "keep from cussing him out". He even left his station and called security because HE felt threatened! My guests were leaving too early because he left and we didnt have any music or anything going on! We fired him so fast when he came back with the security he thought he needed. Mind you, my husband is a sheriff. And we had over 30 of his partners there, TRYING to celebrate with us. These were just some of things that made our wedding night an absolute trainwreck. Long story short, if you're planning an event and you get Irving as a DJ, find someone else. read more

DJ Ben was awesome! I can't say enough good things about him! Our Story: My fiancé and I got married in Laughlin NV on July 15. We live in California so finding someone to DJ our wedding was hard. Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better DJ. Our wedding was a blast and we owe a big part of it to Ben. Our focus wasn't around dancing and that was no problem. Ben DJed my extremely small (30 people) outdoor wedding. I was hesitant at first because we did not talk until about 3 days before the wedding, but it was scheduled that way. Ben played every single song I had listed for him and was even able to add songs I gave him the day of. He very quickly and flawlessly changed his normal routines to fit the crowd. For example, for the couples dance, he started with 'if you've been married for 20 years' and there was only one couple. He smoothly invited all couples to the dance floor- married or not. Another example was for the bouquet toss; there were only 2 singles ladies at my wedding. Again, he invited every woman up to participate. Between dinner and the reception, he hosted multiple (3-4) games that everyone was engaged in. If he played a song that people were not into, he merged it with another song within a few seconds and then faded it out. It was hardly noticeable and was done immediately. People of all ages and generations were dancing until the very end. Ben even offered to stay later than scheduled since everyone was enjoying themselves so much.
