Regarding the 4th of July cruise. 10 of us went on the USS Riverside last night which we've done for YEARS! The price went up to $60 per person, no problem....however, they did NOT do it justice like the following years! We were so disappointed! The gift bags were the skimpiest we've ever gotten, the snacks they used to give were spot on! This time no thank you. Staff was absolutely amazing and nothing bad on them, especially Christina, she was so awesome! Step it up Don Laughlin's, you've gotta do better! read more

I was in Laughlin on a Monday-Wednesday with my three kids and there was not much to do. Most fun things and restaurants were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (including this boat tour). You can't make reservations online and when I called the information number I was told that it's first come first served and to just show up Wednesday morning when the ticket center is open again. No issues there, the ticket office is in the Riverside Casino, right next to the boat dock. Adults 13 and older are $12, kids 3-12 are $6, and kids 2 and under are free. The boat itself has two levels. The bottom level has an air conditioned area with a little bar and there are bathrooms on board. The upper level is open-air but has a canopy to keep you in the shade. The tour starts off by taking you under the Laughlin bridge and to the Davis Dam, then turns around and takes you down past all the casinos to Harrah's at the end and then back up to dock. Our ride was an hour, not an hour and twenty minutes, but we had a great time. There are speakers with a recorded tour telling you all about the history of Laughlin and the Dam. Very friendly crew and great photo opportunities for a small price. read more

I recently took my 84 year old Aunt and Uncle on the USS Riverside tour during a stay at the Riverside Casino. First of all the ticket prices are listed at $12 each for adults. I would highly suggest looking for 2 for 1 coupons which you can find in a few Laughlin tourist books. You can probably find them elsewhere as well. We actually had some free tickets as well. I don't know if the tour is quite worth $12, but $6 seems reasonable. If you want anything to drink on board you're going to pay a higher price due things, do know that going in. The tour itself is about an hour and 15 minutes. There is a bar with a bartender on board. There are also restrooms which are helpful. There are two levels with a small air conditioned seating area on the first level near the bar. If it's warm outside, that may fill up quickly. It also attracts the bugs, so be warned. The tour is pretty interesting and you get to see the dam which controls the flow of the river. The tour guide is all just a recording, but the boat captain seems to keep up with it well. The tour goes over the history of each casino which was interesting. My main suggestion would be to be mindful of the weather. If it is summer it will be hit and you may not want to do the tour in the heat of the day. People all started to cram down in the air conditioned section toward the end. During the week the last tour starts at 4:30pm, so there is no escaping the heat. I would suggest going on a weekend night or during the winter when the weather cools off. Enjoy! read more

I was looking forward to a boat ride! The fee is $12 for adults and $6 for kids. At the beginning they seem to speed towards at the end, it really draaags to meet their time promise. We got the last ride and they start cleaning the trash ,closing the restrooms and one of the host said " to be neat about it." Out of courtesy I was " like so I really have to feel like I'm being time and watch while on tour. Really?" Can't it wait till after!The speakers for tour should really be louder. The USS Riverside docks at the Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort. The cost is $10 for a 1 hour and 20 minutes river ride. The tour on the Colorado river goes as North as the Davis Dam (it's low enough to go under the bridge) and all the way to Harrah's Casino in the South. During the tour we heard over the PA the history of Laughlin. They have a bar with reasonable prices ($1.00 for a glass of soda). The staff is very friendly. I recommend this tour to anyone that visits Laughlin NV the tour was well worth the $10 price. read more

Felt like i needed to leave a review for any future yelpers because i looked for this info and found none. First off the little office to buy the tickets is right behind the Riverside casino by the riverwalk. Also no they dont accept card only cash. And no you cant pay online. Price is 12 dollars per ticket for anyone 12 and up, i felt like the ride was worth it. We usually stay in Laughlin every year for the soccer tournament in Bullhead. Hadnt done that boat tour yet so we decided to do so, great way to spend some time doing anything else besides gambling or hiking. I picked this boat ride because it goes all the way down to the Dam. I was able to take my kids, 4&1, no issues. The office to buy tickets was a little hard to find, but I just found the resort, parked on the left side, headed towards the water, and it was right there. For the price it's a great little boat ride down the river, there is commentary about the casinos and town, loved it! read more

This was a nice 1.5 hour ride on the boat up and down the Colorado River. There's a bar in the boat; so that was a plus :) The kids had a great time as well. Kind of cheap for what it is. $10 for an 1.5 hour ride plus a recorded tour. Well worth the money. read more

We always have a great time at Riverside but unfortunately the last time there, we were victims to theft. I would advise you to take extra caution of your property. We have been going to this casino and hotel for years but this time, it stank!! My kids were crying and really upset that our jet ski and trailer got taken from the parking lot. I expected alot more from Don Laughlins Riverside since everything is private property. Its sad but we will no longer take our business to this property and we usually would go about 10 times a year. I would not recommend leaving anything of value in the parking lot which is kind of hard given your car has to be parked. read more

I called in advance to ask if the cruise would be running on Christmas day and I was told was pending on the weather. After we get to Laughlin and walk the waterfront, I notice the cruise running so went to book a ride. On Christmas day we went to Riverside Resort to the ticket window to catch the 2:30 cruise but they were booked and were told if we come back @ 4:00pm to buy a ticket will make 10 people and the cruise can go ... I'm soooo happy we caught the sunset cruise on Christmas night. Perfect way to end the evening with a beautiful scenery surrounded by water. It was so relaxing and weather was perfect. It did get a lil cool up on deck but the cabin below had a bar and we drank coffee keeping warm while listening to the audio history of the area. I liked seeing the twinkling lights of the casinos... and some of us sang Christmas carols. Definitely a good memory cause we wanted something different of the day and this was worth it! read more

It takes a lot for me to stop my vacation and write a review on yelp but this company takes the cake. We were told that the advantage of this tour was the detailed narrative along the way. We would hear about the history of Laughlin and all the sites. Unfortunately the speakers did not work in the portion of the boat where we were sitting. Moving seats was not an option since the boat was full. WE missed the entire narrative and that left us with just a boat ride. Once the ride was over we went to the ticket office to inquire about a partial refund or a chance to take another tour. We were told to "f off". read more
