Good fast food. Good prices. The food was flavorful and service was great. Friendly people. Definitely on the take out list.

Tiger Cry to go. Not spicy!

So, so bland. Thai food is meant to have spice to it, especially when you order something that is SPICY. I ordered the Tiger Cry to go and the "traditional Thai hot sauce" is sweet. The steak is seasoned so poorly I just dumped salt on it to make it enjoyable. I was also given my order sideways so when I opened my bag all the food was pushed to one side. All in all, my husband likes their sushi. But for the price point (this was $20!!!!) and the taste this is not worth it.

This is an updated review to this place. Initially I gave this place 4 stars because of my first experience being here for lunch on and them being new. Since then I've been back about 5 or 6 times. It's literally the only ethnic food option in Melissa so far and those times I didn't want to drive for good Asian food. The place is clean, staff is nice. Menu seems fairly large.... Quality of food is normal to most "fast food Asian spots". Price point is very high, especially for the stir fry dishes and the portions are super small vs price and full of "filler" vs the meat. Example, my husband ordered the steak filet hibachi. Doesn't taste like filet and literally there are only a few pieces of the meat with tons of vegetables for an almost $30 entree. Sushi is not the best quality. Really had high hopes for this place; but it's just not that great. But this is only my experience here; I don't like giving bad reviews.

Tried a different sushi restaurant In Melissa and this one is far better!! My fiance and I both really liked it. The soup was flavorful and so were our dishes. The spring rolls were also nice and crispy with a soft inside. Service was quick. About 15 minute wait

Lunch portion bento box...really good and larger than we expected.

We enjoyed everything we ordered. We also ordered the steak hibachi (not pictured). We will be back again in the future.

Food was super fresh and tasty. Portion size is not so great for the price, but the flavors make it worth it.

I don't really write very many reviews, but I am big on reading reviews of places that I go eat at…read more I just left this place of business as I went there to have dinner so I wanted to leave a review that might be helpful to others considering how there are a lot of mixed reviews. I noticed how all of the bad reviews spoke about how terrible the food was, but I also noticed how all of the good reviews spoke on how great the food was - so I was very torn on giving it a try. I can't speak for everything on the menu as I only had two of the items, but I can speak on how great the two items were. I ordered the spicy edamame as an appetizer and it was probably top 5 out of all the ones that I've ever had - though I will say that if you don't like spice, I wouldn't recommend because it definitely has a kick to it but nonetheless delicious. For my main entrée, I ordered the general tso chicken and while I was hesitant because I saw some of the bad reviews about this one I still decided to give it a try because it's one of my favorite entrées and let me just say it did not disappoint. It was full of flavor and had the perfect texture/crunch to it- the chicken tasted great and the sauce was phenomenal so I'm not too sure what the bad reviews were about. I will also add that I am very particular about the food that I eat (my poor bf having to deal with this lol), especially when it comes to chicken, so take my word when I say that this was a fantastic dish. My boyfriend also ordered an appetizer which I think was the chicken spring roll and then had the lo mein beef entrée(I believe) - both of which he enjoyed. I also want to add how big the portions were for the entrées, which was really nice because you can always take the rest home as leftovers and enjoy it as a second meal. Overall, I will be returning to this place of business and it's very unfortunate to read all of the bad reviews and know that I almost didn't give it a chance, but I'm really glad that I did. :) One more thing I wanted to add was how friendly the staff was in my interactions with them! Highly recommend and for those bad reviews - give it a second chance!!!

Unfortunately my food had a bad taste to it. The chicken seemed to be borderline spoiled/sour, and…read morethe rice was not fresh and smelled off putting. I really hate writing bad reviews, and maybe they just had an off day. The food arrived very very hot, and I ordered off of Uber. I could not recommend this place. On a positive note, I request spicy sauce and utensils which they included.

OK, this was such a random stop but when I tell you, it will not be one of my favorite spots I mean…read moreit.... I picked the booth in the back. It was perfect for me. Five people could've easily sent here, but I want the hopeful to myself. I could see the whole restaurant from sitting right where I am and it feels perfect. I just stopped in for a quick bite to eat, hoping to get some fried rice and I came in and found my favorite thing on the menu... bang bang shrimp... and there is such a backstory for me and bang bang shrimp but just numb last night my family chose to go to Olive Garden instead of going to bonefish Grill. I really want a bang bang shrimp and today guess what I ordered??? you got it bang bang shrimp!!! and it came out first before the other entrée which was veggie fried rice. My bill is about $27 and that's fine because I'm the main character of the story and every grain of rice was worth it. Perfect place for a self-care day that I stumbled across. Oh and let me not forget my server, Ajah. She was so adorable and so kind. I just wanted to take her home and put her in my pocket and pull her out anytime I need to pick me up or Bestie to talk to. The food was beyond delicious and the service was beyond great 10 out of 10, but definitely come back again!!!

3.5 The food wasn't bad but I've just been to other places…read morein McKinney that had better selections for sushi. TLDR: Their menu was massive with so many different options which I think is good for people who want to try different things but it may be a little too big of a menu. Food was just ok. It may be beneficial to lessen items on menu and really focus on some key dishes they want to highlight. Everything imo was priced a little on the high side, at least $1-2 more than I would pay for the quality of the dish. They do pack their specialty rolls with a lot of ingredients and with inflation I'm sure they priced it accordingly to keep their business running, so I'm not docking off too much points for that. Review: They offered regular sushi rolls but disappointing to see that yellowtail was not on their menu for rolls (they did have it as an option for 2pc sushi/sashimi). I ordered a smoked salmon 2pc sushi which was pretty good and decently sized so probably worth the ~$5 price point for 2pc. I did not order any other ones from the 2pc menu so not sure if all the fish are portioned that way. Regarding their regular rolls, my husband enjoyed the Philadelphia rolls and said he could taste the smoked salmon, so for both of us a win on the smoked salmon. My other order was part of their specialty rolls...Salmon Lover priced at ~$13 with 8pc. Imo the pieces were quite small for a specialty roll and it tasted ok. There was supposed to be a honey wasabi sauce on there which I felt like was overpowered by the amount of spicy mayo on the dish. I wanted to like it so badly but I figured reading off of the ingredients list that it would have a kick to it, and it did not. It's not marked as a spicy roll, so probably not intended to be spicy? But with spicy mayo and jalapeño surely there would be some mild kick to it, and the flavor just kinda fell flat and tasted like...too much mayo. The highlight of this experience was the service. The young lady who took our order was super nice and cheery. Checked up on us at appropriate times and I saw she was also working on other tasks around the restaurant. I am willing to try this place again in the future as the vibes were nice, it def gives Japanese izakaya and looks like a good place to have dinner with some friends. Maybe I'll try their ramen instead next time!
