I shared my ideas, they immediately give me great suggestions and estimate to meet my budget as well (their quote was the most comprehensive and detailed). Timothy was knowledgeable and friendly and patient with my ideas on the look back and forth. Anytime I have a question or need a small update to something, he could quick to come out. We're so pleased with our beautiful new covered deck space! It brightens the backyard and added so much space to our outdoor living fun. The team were on time, very efficient, expert. kept the job site neat and finished in two weeks. They are amazing! I highly recommend!

Back in 2021, Tim and his team at Sky Mountain Contractors completed a large project for us -- they…read morerebuilt and re-decked our outdoor deck and constructed a beautiful covered area complete with soffit ceiling boards, recessed lighting, flat torch-down roof, and more... They also redid our fence and garbage-bin enclosure. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication throughout the project were exceptional. The finished result exceeded our expectations -- this outdoor living space has truly been a blessing for our family. Rain or shine, there's not a day we don't use it. We've hosted countless family game nights and gatherings here, and I'm genuinely grateful for this space every single day. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm taking the time because of what happened recently -- more than four years after the project was completed. We noticed a small leak where the deck cover connects to the house, water was dripping from the soffit boards. Naturally, we were stressed about potential water damage and repairs, but when I reached out to Tim, he responded within minutes and sent his team the very next morning! They inspected the area, found a likely source, sealed it and performed the necessary repairs, then advised us to observe it again when the rain returns and call them if further repairs is needed. This experience speaks volumes about the company's integrity and dedication to their customers. Even years later, they stood behind their work without hesitation. It's rare these days to find honest, hardworking, and caring contractors like Tim and his crew. We are very satisfied customers and highly recommend Sky Mountain Contractors to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and genuine professionalism. (Photos attached of our project!)

After the second leak I brought in a new resource to repair their work. I hire Jessie - JC Landscaping - for 1 tree removal and 1 big tree trimming with very long (25'+) branches grown over the roof. These branches were safety hazards and very likely will break during the winter season and cause roof damage or injure tenants. Very important that I hired a contractor with all the safety following. Jessie's crew did an excellent job tie down the heavy branches and cutting so they don't fall uncontrollably injuring someone or damaging the property. They did a great job and cleaned all the debris. Hall away all the cut-down trees and branches. I am already scheduled with Jessie for several more projects

I requested services for a quote this past Saturday (5/23/26) and was asked if 9:30am…read moresame day would work. I requested 10:30am as I had stepped out to the store as they responded. They confirmed that 10:30am was ok and that they would be at the address that I provided. at 10:26 AM I reached out and let them know that I had parked on the street so they could park in my driveway. at 10:33 I received a text that they would not be making it and asked if I could reschedule for 1130. at this point, I was a little frustrated but agreed to reschedule but for this upcoming Tuesday at the same time 10:30 AM, as I had to be on the road for the holiday at that time. So today as of writing (5/26/26) I had been waiting on my front porch since about 10 AM. at 10:45 I just decided to text and let them know that I would be going with another company. 15 minutes past the agreed-upon time and no communication is extraordinarily frustrating. When I texted to let them know that I would be going with another company and then was given excuses. While things happen communication in business dealings, in my opinion, is extraordinarily important. My advice would be if you like to work on a timeline and need things to happen efficiently, to look for another company.

Our project was started in the winter. It had to be put on hold due to cold temps and we were concerned that they would be slammed when it came time to pour. However, they got us in quickly. Sidenote, we had a very experienced house builder on our property during the wait for the temperatures to rise and they of course could see the work that HOJ had done thus far (forms and rebar in place etc....). They commented that "these guys know what they're doing," It was nice to hear that unsolicited vote of confidence.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS CONTRACTOR…read more I called this contractor to schedule a job to install patio pavers. He explained that he would not make an appointment over the phone. Instead, I had to go onto his website and schedule there. I went to the website and made an appointment. I was at the property 30 minutes prior to the schedule appointment time (window of 3pm to 4pm). I waited until about 3:15pm, still no word from the contractor. I went out front to see if maybe he had went too far down the block or something. No one in sight. I took a few minutes to run to the restroom. After the restroom, I noticed I missed the contractor's call by three minutes. I rang back expecting him to answer and explain that he was on his way or had arrived. Instead, it went to his voicemail. A few minutes later, I received a string of text messages from the contractor accusing me of missing the appointment, wasting his time, costing him gas money, and making him late for other appointments. Apparently, my stepping into the restroom for three minutes was out of the question. What kind of contactor works like this? I took time out of my day to meet this contractor as well. I guess my time as a client is not valuable to him in any way? He claims he waited for 20 minutes, but that is not at all true. I went outside searching for him and he had not arrived. Furthermore, why would he wait outside for 20 minutes and not attempt to call the contact number? When he finally did call, I only missed the call by three minutes. When I mentioned that I would be reviewing my experience, he only went on a further threatening tirade about he planned to comment back on my review about how much of his time I wasted. Ummm, you were not at the property when I checked at 3:15pm. I went to the restroom for a few minutes, I missed a call by three minutes, and then you refused to answer. If three minutes is unacceptable, it sounds as though you have some scheduling issues. Anyhow, DO NOT hire this contractor. He is terribly impatient, rude, and does not value your time as the hiring client.

She saw our vision and expanded on it. She had such many great ideas/insight about design. The project itself took a bit longer than anticipated, but that can be attributed to weather, smaller crew, and supply chain. The outcome was worth it! I was able to see the progress day-to-day and I saw the QUALITY of the work. Premier all of the hardscape and landscaping that you see in the photos: trex, bushes, and rock. Amanda had to not only work with the city permits but work with my HOA, whose members are NOT up-to-date on construction, so she had to also educate them on their policies, and construction in's and outs-- very frustrating, so I'm glad she did it so I didn't have to! Ha ha! Thank you, Amanda for your support and hard work!

They communicated daily during work and quickly answered any question. I was so impressed and stunned by quality that I hired them for my own home. Their work is taken very seriously and with a care for the client that has almost disappeared these days!
