There was no question of what needed to happen we had a meeting with the building inspector to be clear of the scope. He gave me a written quote for the work and wanted 50% down which I paid him $5510.00 he cashed the check the same day. Then proceeded to give me every excuse in the book for weeks why he couldn't show up, Everything from needing to "pick up materials" (which never materialized) to "the bridge being out " and a fake car accident! I gave him two diffrent oppurtunities to just give me back me money. No harm no foul. He pleaded with me to allow him to get there and do the job. I regrettfully relented and allowed him to try. He then called me on the 31st at 2:45 pm to tell me he can't figure out how to fabricate the stairs and the railing he partially installed is wrong and will have to be torn out. He left the job knowing that I was going to have to have someone fix his incompetence. REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK, I am forced to collect on his contractors bond to get refunded. His work speed is very fast and the quality of the wood he brought was overall great high quality, not perfect, but great. After completion my neighbor and I did point out a couple things we either wanted changed or fixed. Humberto stayed a few more hours to make those changes. The fence is fantastic and Humberto did a great job at a fair price. If you have any specific design needs, it's best to have it typed out with photos in messenger, and also review in person when the work starts. My neighbor and I went through 5 different contractor bids, and it's best to review carefully if you expect something specific such as "visible concrete vs hidden concrete", "panels touching ground vs not", "pressure treated vs cedar", "distance between posts", "amount of gap between panels", etc. Humberto Mora is Highly recommended!

We had to replace our wooden fence after septic replacement. In the first visit, they gave us an estimate, a date when they will be able to come. Their sales person did not try to upsell us. He was knowledgeable and tried to give us options based on what we needed. He told us we didn't need to replace most of the posts and reduced our cost. The crew arrived on time, we didn't have to baby sit them. They finished the job cleanly and went away. Second time, we had to call them to repair a metal fence damaged by a fallen tree. This time, they just asked for pictures, they gave me a range over email and scheduled their crew. The crew had all the material and they finished super fast. They could have asked us any money and we would have paid because we had open house that weekend. Instead, they focused on solving the problem and got out as fast as they can so avoid any negative impression on realtors showing the house.
