We got about 3 bids, and Mr Holmans was a bit higher. The results speak for themselves, the difference was worth it. Take a look at the pictures of other fences the company has built and you will see that this is quality workmanship. When he looked at the old gate he pointed out a big construction error concerning how the big gate was originally hung and why it was starting to lean. As soon as he pointed that out we knew this was the company to hire. Mr Holman knows how to build fences.

Kurt, the salesman, kept in contact via text, phone, and emails throughout the whole process. We agreed on materials and booked the job, which started a couple of weeks later as we had to wait for the materials to be delivered. The site crew was great. They removed my old posts and concrete, checked in with me throughout whenever they had questions or advice. By the end of day one my old fence was gone and the new posts were up. A couple days later the panels were in, and shortly after that they came back to install the gate since we adjusted the order on advice of the foreman. There were no surprises. Everyone was professional and showed up on time. No complaints. I'll be using them in the future as I have another fence section that I'll be replacing in a few years.

The bid, while not inexpensive, was thorough and lower than another bid from a competitor who did not offer the same level of upgrades. The contracting and scheduling process was efficient and the team started on time and was courteous to neighbors. The team, led by Abraham, worked incredibly hard and carefully. We have underground electrical and irrigation lines as well plants in full bloom that they navigated with care. Abraham consulted with us whenever there was a choice to be made (ie: slope lines) and we took his advice each time - his recommendations produced a far better product than what we had initially requested. Abraham recommended and changed the orientation of our door so it would be more safe for our family. A true pro who was not just doing the job but ensuring the family behind the gates are better off in the long run. We've received many unsolicited texts from neighbors on the craftsmanship and care of the crew and requests for contact info. We're thrilled with our final product and would absolutely use them again.

We also had specific quality requirements, such as using a post-on-pipe installation to avoid wood rot. After reaching out to Sky Fence and 5 other well-known Seattle companies, only Sky Fence said they could meet our custom design and quality needs. The other companies offered a range of prices for lower-quality fences, while Sky Fence provided a single quote with the highest standards at a competitive price. Using a few sketches we provided, Sky Fence built a beautiful fence that matched our requirements perfectly. Jacob and his team did an amazing job, even installing the fence on top of a concrete wall. Communication throughout the process was smooth, and I couldn't be happier with the work they delivered. Finding skilled people in Seattle is hard, but occasionally you find some amazing people. My only complaint is about the contract. It was hard to read, lacked detail, included stock photos that didn't match our design, and had no itemization--just a final price.
