Hi everyone- I live in Black Diamond, WA, and I bought a new construction home. The backyard was a blank canvas. I contacted Premier and we spoke with Amanda. She saw our vision and expanded on it. She had such many great ideas/insight about design. The project itself took a bit longer than anticipated, but that can be attributed to weather, smaller crew, and supply chain. The outcome was worth it! I was able to see the progress day-to-day and I saw the QUALITY of the work. Premier all of the hardscape and landscaping that you see in the photos: trex, bushes, and rock. Amanda had to not only work with the city permits but work with my HOA, whose members are NOT up-to-date on construction, so she had to also educate them on their policies, and construction in's and outs-- very frustrating, so I'm glad she did it so I didn't have to! Wow! This is the most professional, caring, and invested company I've hired since the 70's! They provided me a fair quote for a big job. We needed a tree removed and sod replacement for my dad's entire yard. The dead original sod was almost 6 inches above ground. They removed the tree, rock and stone inlays and removed all the old sod. They laid a high quality sod down and trimmed perfectly. The new lawn looks stunning and makes the house look beautiful! They communicated daily during work and quickly answered any question. I was so impressed and stunned by quality that I hired them for my own home. Their work is taken very seriously and with a care for the client that has almost disappeared these days! Protect yourself and do not do business with this company. You don't want to go through the same nightmare that I am currently going through with this company. This company has swindled me out of $5963. The next step is to take this company to small claims court, which I fully intend to do unless my money is refunded as soon as possible. Once I do go to small claims court, I will update this review to include the docket information for everyone to see. On Aug 2nd, I reached out to this company and spoke to Amanda. Asked her to schedule a time when they can come out and provide me with two separate quotes, one for interior work and the other for a walkway to be installed. Set it up for Aug 8th. Met with the sub contractors and they said that Premier would be sending me the quotes. Nothing for days, I had to call to get them to send the quote. Some excuse about a certificate expired (was that even true, or just an excuse because she dropped the ball). After I got a number of questions answered I paid the deposit for the exterior work on Aug 14th. That was for $5963.22, which was half the total amount. Once I paid the deposit, that's when things went downhill. It was one delay after another and always an excuse as to why it wasn't her fault. It would take days to get a response through email, she quit answering my phone calls. Finally got on the schedule. But then on the day that they were supposed to come out, I received an email stating the pavers they received were incorrect and they would have to reschedule. At this point, I was at my wits end dealing with all the delays and nonsense, so I just told her to return all of it and refund my money. She said it would take 5 to 7 business days to get the funds back from the supplier, then a refund would be processed immediately. Sounds fair, I was fine with waiting. That was on Sept 6th. It has now been 25 business days and still no refund has been posted back to my credit card. There isn't any pending amount showing that it has been refunded, which means no refund was even initiated. On Oct 9th, She sent me a text after she avoided my phone call and stated that she processed it and that she sent me the confirmation and receipt. But I never received anything. I emailed and texted asking her to send it again to my email. No response, I still haven't received the confirmation or receipt that she mentioned. So was it a blatant lie to drag this out further? At one point, I asked why she was trying to swindle me and she told me how much of a Christian she was and would never do that. In that same email she berated the sub contractor and made libel comments about his reputation and business status, saying he wasn't licensed or bonded and that he was a fraud and so forth. Coincidentally, he actually sent me his license and bond information. No work has been performed, yet she has $6000 of my money. I have tried to be patient. She treats her business like a hobby. I send an email and 10 days later still no response. I feel I am just being strung along and she has no intention of ever refunding my money. Maybe she spent it all and just doesn't have it to give back to me. Who knows, she doesn't keep me informed. Lately, she has not answered any of my texts or emails and she screens her calls and doesn't answer when I call (it's been 2 months since I last spoke to her on the phone). This is not how someone should operate a business. Ghosting me is not the answer. She will most likely demand that I remove this review or that I am lying or just say all kinds of excuses to cover up the fact that she has my money and won't give it back. Everything I have stated is true and I have the emails to prove all of it, which I will gladly post. To anyone who reads this, find a different company for your construction needs. Save yourself the hassle. This is not a company you want to do business with, you'll run the risk of losing your money and not having any of the work performed. read more

I have been involved in construction almost all of my adult life, and I have come to really appreciate good contractors. Amanda Meyer & her crew are top notch. They took my original vision for our back yard and ran with it. The design work was beautiful. Construction wise, we could not be happier. They always kept me informed of the schedule, and they showed up when they said they would. Crew took pride in their work, and it shows. No cutting corners, workmanship is outstanding. And the project was completed in a very timely manner. We cannot say enough good things about them. We highly recommend Premier Landscape Construction. read more
