The photo tells the story. Our sprinkler system developed two major leaks soon after the install which require shutting off the water. After the second leak I brought in a new resource to repair their work. The new team quickly realized that every joint was poorly glued together which prompted them to pull out the whole system and start over. I'm a property manager for many rental houses. I'm always on the properties for every project contractors perform. I hire Jessie - JC Landscaping - for 1 tree removal and 1 big tree trimming with very long (25'+) branches grown over the roof. These branches were safety hazards and very likely will break during the winter season and cause roof damage or injure tenants. Very important that I hired a contractor with all the safety following. Jessie's crew did an excellent job tie down the heavy branches and cutting so they don't fall uncontrollably injuring someone or damaging the property. JC was super responsive and available to come to our place immediately to deal with an emergency landscaping, fence and patio situation. They had the same pricing and promised to deliver the job in the same time frame as other quotes. When they arrived to do the work the first day, they completed the patio in rough form, but it looked promising. The job was only supposed to take two days but ended up taking 3 due to poor planning, poor organization and management of the people working for him. It started with 2 people and then ended up with 7. There was poor attention to detail and the work was completely half assed. After the inspection was complete, this is the feedback we received from the inspector: Patio: - The two screens literally were just half attached.  You could fit your hand through most of the edges.  Simple fix, but pretty shocking a contractor told them they fixed it.  Other things on the patio that we noticed once we started looking (clearly once we saw how badly the craftsmanship was we were looking much harder than we normally would have) was that the 2x4 on the outside is a different size, therefore it sticks out The roof wasn't put on all the way, there is a gap between the house roof and the patio, as well as 2 holes in the patio roof. This was after they were told to fix the first time they put it on. Retaining wall: - Looks as if they picked up the rocks that got hit and just slapped them back up and filled in with concrete here and there.  It is very obvious the exact sections that got fixed.  Its messy and just thrown together with gaps.  To be honest, this was the most obvious visual example of how corners were cut and less than stellar work was done.  Fence: Broken parts were used, the panels didn't fit, and it wasn't lined up with the rest of the fence. Panels were falling out at the time of inspection. This was even after they had been told to replace the broken panels they put in the first time. We have been trying to receive an invoice that he promised to provide us, but multiple days later we still have yet to see. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

They planted some privacy trees in my backyard. They were courteous, responsive, and fast. And super inexpensive. Not ideal for design/consultation (like they won't offer much opinion about landscaping design options). Definitely know what you want before hiring them and then they'll take care of it quickly and professionally. I would hire them again. read more

These guys are great, they had a very competitive rate, and worth every penny. I had them do a fall cleanup, and they were very knowledgeable about which plants to cut down to prepare for them to bloom in spring properly they edged the lawn perfectly. overall, I would recommend and will be using again. JC was very responsive and came quickly to give a quote and start the work. He extended a sprinkler and fixed another one, applied mulch on the beds. The end result was however far from satisfactory. Mulch was uneven, missed several spots. He did not test the sprinkler to check if it worked. He covered everything in mulch and left. I used YELP to get a bid on Trunk Removal. I had an immediate response and set up an appointment for 12-2PM that day. I received a 200$ quote via text - then an hour later asking if I could do 300$. I agreed. They showed up to the 12-2PM appointment at 3:30PM and didn't text or knock on the door to let me know they were here. They took off a couple of hours later with the job not finished. I texted to see what the issue was. They told me they had to go grab a bigger chain and would be back. They then had to unload junk out of the back of their truck to load up branches and other yard waste I asked them to haul away, and we then agreed on 400$. They got the trunk out and I paid them. They then said they would be back the next day to grab the trunk they just took out. That was over a week ago and the junk they took out of their truck, and the trunk, are still laying in my driveway making it unable to be used. I have been told they would be here to pick it up almost daily only to be ignored when I ask where they are or when they will be here. I will be contacting YELP next to let them know this is not a legit company and they don't finish the jobs they get paid for. I would NOT recommend using this guy. read more
