Fun place on the lake. Love the beach area for everyone to swim. The gator bites are a favorite.

Great spot. Loved it. I had a Whiskey paloma and it was solid. Next I had a paper airplane. It's a…read morereally good vibe and all of the drinks were crafted very much at a higher level. I was at the owners were there so have some time I have a conversation with them and they were super nice and friendly. Let us walk around the entire shop and answer all questions and total some history. It's a college vibe but not an undergrad vibe if that makes any sense. You may see some grass students or whatever the case may be, but you wouldn't find a bunch of 19-year-olds piled up in this kind of spot. It used to be small apparently but they expanded it out to a back room and an attic kind of situation. It seems like a attic kickback kind of spot. Really homish or something you will find in a living room. It made it on the top list of speakeasies on Yelp so I had to check it out while I was in the area. I would 100% recommend.

Stopped by the Belltree Speakeasy after having dinner out in the Chapel Hill area. When you arrive…read morethere is parking available across the street in the gravel lot. Walking up to the bar it's a bit hard to find, but look for the wooden sign that says "Belltree" off of Brewer Lane than you've located this bar. Walking into the bar you'll feel like you've walked into a grown up, local, and upscale speakeasy. For my drink I ordered the last word cocktail (house gin, luxardo maraschino, green chartreuse, and lime juice). The drink was excellent and the bartender explained how rare it is to find a bar with green chartreuse as it became a huge staple during the pandemic. Overall this bar was good, and definitely worth checking out for a drink or two.

I've been to Atlantic Prime only once, so this is based on a very limited experience; but here are…read moremy opinions. The decor is inviting, nautical, attractive and special - a real feel-good place. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. They all appear to really enjoy that they do and made us feel like they were so very happy that we were there. Two of the three items we ordered were first-rate - although a little on the pricey side. The prices are somewhat offset by the generous portions. The Clam Chowder ($14) is simply fantastic. The large bowl was loaded with strips of tender sweet clams, bacon and potatoes swimming in a creamy tasty chowder base. As good as any I have ever had. The Octopus Salad was amazing. I order the octopus dishes whenever they are on the menu wherever I go. I have eaten a lot of octopus in my time, but this was by far the most tender. The arugula, potatoes, capers, olives and aioli combined to make this a delicious dish. The Crabcake Sandwich ($28 with Fries) missed the mark with us. The extra large crab cake itself was loaded with crab with minimal filler, but we did not like the flavor. There are about as many different tastes and styles of crab cakes as there are people who make them. Different people like different things, and we just didn't like this item. Bottom line - Atlantic is an upscale, slightly pricy, enjoyable restaurant in the heart of downtown Franklinton. We will definitely be back to try more of their creative dishes.

I had the octopus salad appetizer, which was amazing and then followed up that with the bouillabaisse, which had all the seafood shrimp, lobster scallops, mussels it was amazing. But one of the best things is the dirty martini with olives filled with caviar wow what a winner. All in all great service great food great drink can't say enough about this place.
