First time at Latin Flavors. We got the beef skewers, garlic shrimp with tostones, Colombian chorizo and chicken patacones. Everything g was delicious! And service was wonderful.

The food was really good, and the different workers who helped us were very nice. I will definitely be back soon. My sister and I both enjoyed it. I had the beef empanadas and the fried yucca. The yucca was a little dry. My sister had a mix of empanadas. It was my first time trying a dulce de leche and cheese empanada. I'm still not sure how I feel about that one. Lol

This is a hidden gem. I was happy to see vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. The vegan burger is a delicious black bean burger. They have very friendly service. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

service is GREAT! They were nice kind and they have great music! One thing i don't like is that we have to go up there and order but at the same time most restaurants don't do that so it could just be me. the impala's (don't really know how to spell it) are AMAZING!!! The price isn't bad though it really wasn't expensive but it wasn't cheap it was right in the middle so personally not too bad! The burger was delicious and i don't personally like fry's but for someone that doesn't like them i love them i would 120% come back here!!!

Went yesterday, picked up some fried plaintains with meat to go, really bad, everything had a fishy taste, seems the fry eveything together. Service was fine but the food. Personal wont go there again.

Food was super great. Stopped here on our way to Georgia and was not disappointed. Not too far off the interstate, but a little hidden, it's a quiet little spot with delicious eats. The arepas were bomb. Way too muchbut who complains about too much ?! My husband really enjoyed the patacons. Price: way affordable. Good amount of food for the price. Service: great service, owner was super friendly Parking: shared parking lot, but there was plenty of parking Food: delicious, great impromptu stop

I ordered the Pork Arepa and Yuka Fries. The food was delicious - fresh, very flavorful and well balanced. The staff was friendly and did not act annoyed at us for bringing kids along. They even came out and offered us a high chair. Even though the restaurant is small, they had ample outdoor seating as well. We enjoyed our lunch immensely! When we return to the area, we'll have to come back and try more from the menu.

We added escabeche (perfect blend of flavors!) and tostones (with delicious sauce). We needed dairy free as well, so sadly no queso for us, but please enjoy it if you aren't dairy free. We got our order to go, and it was packaged well and stayed hot until we got back to our hotel room, even though it was quite cold outside. This is a tiny place with maybe 8-12 barstools. It is squeaky clean and decorated so nicely. The owner has a great sense of humor as evidenced by his posted hours by the door. Everything is gluten free. I wish this was in my hometown. I would eat there several times a week. I will certainly return when I am in Asheville again, and am even considering placing an order on my last day here to take home for dinner. One thing to note: street parking only as the lot next to the building belongs to another establishment, and they don't play with you parking in their spots.

After seeing several Instagram posts raving about this restaurant and being new to South Carolina,…read morewe decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown from the start. The exterior looked rundown, and inside, many tables were still covered in dirty dishes, with flies circling around. Despite the initial red flags, we decided to stay and give the food a chance. When we received the menu, none of the dishes had prices listed. I asked the server for a menu with pricing, but she just laughed and said none of their menus had prices, and if I wanted to know, I'd have to ask her directly. This was off-putting, but we ordered a mix of Colombian and Mexican dishes: lengua criolla, milanesa de pollo, a burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. When the food arrived, things went from bad to worse. The burrito was smothered in a thick sauce they claimed was cheese, but it clearly wasn't. The quesadilla had an odd, almost liquid cheese with no flavor. The lengua was passable, but the accompanying salad was soggy and tasted off. Wanting to avoid further complaints, I simply asked for the burrito to be remade without the sauce. The server refused, saying that's just how they made it and couldn't accommodate the request. As someone who is 100% Colombian and has lived in Mexico and California, I can confidently say the "Mexican" food here was not authentic and tasted terrible. When I asked to remove the uneaten burrito from the bill, the server seemed visibly irritated but agreed. While my wife and I finished most of our food, our kids couldn't eat theirs. To top it off, the server never brought the bill to the table, so I had to go to the counter, where she simply gave me a total without a proper receipt. I ended up paying $97 for a meal that wasn't worth half that. It's disappointing to leave this kind of review, but there are far better Colombian restaurant options in Greenville, Mauldin, and nearby areas. I strongly recommend staying away from this place--especially the so-called "Mexican" menu.

We both had the Bandeja Paisa with no rice and double beans. The beans were the best part. The steak was a little chewy for my taste, but the salsa they have for it was really good. It wasn't super hot, but had a good kick and taste that complimented the steak very well. The chicharrón was also crispy and went well with the beans. The sausage was really good and went well with the plátano maduro. Overall, a good place for those that enjoy Columbian food in Greenville, SC.

The options were quickly listed out loud, and there were no physical or printed menus to refer back to. I was even served a Dr Pepper that was past its expiration date. The server didn't seem to know the prices of anything and was dismissive when we asked questions. The explanation was that the car show caused the limited setup, but since these events happen regularly, it seems reasonable to expect a simple printed limited menu by now. Once our food arrived, no one checked on us again -- not a single refill or follow-up. We also had kids with us, and none of the lids fit their cups properly, which made things messy and frustrating. The food itself was decent, but overall the experience was disappointing. There are definitely better places nearby that offer more organization, better service, and attention to customers.

Sad to say, this place missed almost every single thing that I look for in a restaurant. We came in and were seated quickly, which was nice. The staff weren't overly friendly, in fact, seemed standoffish. This didn't bother me, so we sat down and ordered a couple of drinks. Their margarita was pretty much a glass of sour mix. I asked our waiter if I could have a slice of fresh jalapeño for my margarita and he actually told me no. Not sure how that works, as fresh jalepenos appear on a number of menu items. The bottle of beer was nice and cold, however it's kind of hard to mess that up. As an appetizer we ordered bean dip & chips, which was more or less a bean purée with a little bit of melted cheese added. Not impressive. My wife ordered chicken fajitas, which we both tried, and both agreed there wasn't anything special about them. For myself, I ordered the Colombian hamburger, the "hamburgerusa" or something to that effect. It featured some unique flavors but overall failed to impress me. One thing that really irritated me was that it was like pulling teeth to get our waiter to bring us anything, from glasses of water, to a plate for my wife's fajitas. The whole refusing to add a slice of jalapeño to my margarita really made me bump this place down from the two stars I was planning to rate this place down to the one star it gets now. That just really rubbed me the wrong way. I'd stay away if I were you. I know we definitely won't come back.
