I'm so glad I did because they exceeded my expectations and am totally amazed at the quality of their work and their professionalism. My Mother hired them to do her flooring project because mine turned out so well. I will always support family businesses and highly recommend DYC Painting (David Sr. & David Jr. (with the help of Jr.'s sister, Lucia)) for your painting, flooring and remodeling needs! 10 out of 5 stars!!

We didn't realize it until they were finished, but the nails they used to replace the shakes were too long and went all the way through the roof and ceiling. When we called David about this, he offered to fix the problem (hundreds of nails sticking through the ceiling) for additional payment. He finally agreed to a $1,000 refund if we would sign a document absolving the company of further liability. We did so but it took him THREE MONTHS to complete the refund. Meanwhile, we had to repair the ceiling ourselves. They were nice people but I wouldn't hire them again.

Highly Recommended!…read more Martin responded to my quote request quickly and came out to assess the situation. I originally requested a gutter repair and cleaning. As it turns out, the issue with the section of gutter in question really had more to do with my prior gutter cleaning companies not thoroughly cleaning the gutter. This caused excess weight/debris caked in the gutter and it looked to be twisting and bending away from the house. Martin is fearless on a ladder and thoroughly cleaned the gutter. Beyond just scooping the leaves/debris out, he actually uses a hose and sprays them until no dirt or grime is left in the gutter. With all the weight finally cleaned out, this essentially fixed the "bent" gutter, but he also attached a bracket to ensure it stays in place. He also added a collar onto a loose downspout and provided a very reasonable quote for gutter guards on one side of the house, so I had that done as well. The next time I need a cleaning I'll definitely be reaching out to Martin and you should too!

You couldn't even tell it was repaired and repainted - just like new. Aside from this immediate wall fix, he provided me with several solutions of how we can prevent the mold issue from happening again. One was a quick short term fix and the other was a long term solution, adding an extension to the drain and possibly installing a french drain pipe. We hired Shay at Century Residential for a complete remodel of our kitchen, a complete replacement…read moreof our floors from carpet to hardwood, and lots of miscellaneous touch-ups everywhere else. Shay was straightforward and reasonable with design, budget, and schedule from day one. The best part - Shay and his crew finished our project in just around a month. When we started looking for a contractor, we looked at least a half of a dozen different options. The main difference between Century and the other contractors we considered was that they had pre-fabricated cabinets that were able to be customized to fit our needs, while others needed to spend more time and money to build cabinets from scratch. Having remodeled our previous homes' kitchen to similar cabinets, I can say that the quality was on par with the custom ordered cabinets we ordered before. I was very happy with the trade-off as this made the project move very quickly. Once most of our designs and choices were made, and work started, Shay was always available for feedback, and we were able to tweak any small thing we wanted to change, and correct any small discrepancies in what turned out versus what we expected. There were no huge surprises in our budget, and they were always willing to help pick up an appliance or exchange a light switch. Bottom line, we were able to get the design we wanted, stay within our budget, and get it all done within a month. We highly recommend Shay and Century for any project, large or small.
