He did not listen to how I wanted my nails done. Tried to push me into getting gel polish. Did not clean the station properly between myself and the client he just finished with. Station top was dusty and he hurt when he clipped the cuticle. He actually pulled on a piece of my cuticle. I tried to make small talk and he would not respond. Two of my nails never even made it to the car before smearing when I was told they were dry. Never going back. read more

My daughter and I had appointments with Lasting Nails. We were on time for them. I waited 20 minutes to be seated for a pedicure. My daughter waited 30inutes to be seated for a manicure. My pedicure was OK. My daughter's manicure was a disaster. First of all the gentleman doing the nails did not clean his station from the previous client. It was observed that he put the used wooden orange stick back in with others on his table. So first off, things were not as sanitary as should be. Then he wanted her to have gel nails rather than the polishes she had specifically brought that would match her outfit for an upcoming event. She asked that he "layer" the colors in thin coats to get the effect she desired. He totally ignored her request. He applied thick layers, not letting the polish to dry between coats. The result was a grayish, unattractive color. He also managed to smudge one her nails and then a second one which he blamed on her. By that time she was most unhappy with his work and was ready to leave. We did notice that he and the 2 other employees were very friendly with other clients who appeared to be regulars. Evidently, if you are a regular then things are well done. For us, this was the first AND the last time for Lasting Nails. read more

I understand cultural differences and I no longer expect a smile and a welcome in nail salons but my encounter at Lasting Nails was pure rudeness. No idea if I was judged because I was dressed in work scrubs and a t shirt, minimal makeup with my hair in a bun or if they are like this to everyone. I was greeted with 'can I help you?' and glare from the male staff. I'm thinking of course you CAN but the proper way to greet is HOW can I help you or at least a hello. The place was not busy. I said I'd like to do a manicure, he looked annoyed, grabbed the appointment book and I asked if I needed an appointment because the sign said walk ins. He didnt answer just asked "Manicure for you?" I'm thinking to myself " no the tree outside" I asked if they could do a french manicure, he asked to see my nails and said they were 'too skinny', I was so shocked I politely said "I'll just come back another time" he said "have a nice day" and I responded with "Thanks for being rude" as I left. He probably didnt hear me but I hope he and others hear this review. no, my nails are not perfect thats why I went in there for some help and he would not help me. read more

I came in with three other people to get pedis and I also got a mani. They greeted us at the door and were very kind. It took a little for all of us to get done but that was expected with the number of people I brought with me. I got a French tip pedi and mani and both looked amazing. They payed very good attention to detail and made sure each nail was the same on both hands. I'm very impressed as I have been the past times I've come here. I'd come again for sure. Honest to God read reviews and listen to them. I gave this place a shot. Never going back. I walked an asked for a manicure. She said 22$ for gel. I said no gel. Then, when asked what type of nail, I asked for dip. She said that's 30$ I said ok no problem. It has been a year since a "profession" mani. They filed my nails and applied the dip. And then sad.. All done. I was like uhh are you going give me a manicure? Cuticles trimmed? Oil? Lotion? Massage? ANYTHING? She said no. I said for 30$ that's not included? She said no that would be extra! Lol. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. I chose to come to this place because they list serving men & women on their window adverts, and I'm sure that men wanting pedicures is still the rare daily exception in this area. I didn't have an appointment, and the two employees who were there were busy working on one client. After a few minutes one of them greeted the woman who entered the shop prior to me. While they were working out what the woman ahead of me wanted, I took a chair by the front counter. No one greeted me or asked what services I wanted. Another employee came in and started working on a client. Two other customers came in and were greeted and told the wait time, and one employee started working on another customer who had entered the shop after I had. I tried to get someone's attention to interject that I had been waiting for 40 mins. but no one there could be bothered to pay any attention, and I don't feel like I should have to be obnoxious or make a scene to be recognized and treated as a customer in someone's shop. The result was I wasted 45 minutes being ignored and still need a pedicure. The employees's behavior came across as rude and dismissive. Why would anyone want to patronize a business who treats any customer that way? read more

They don't even deserve one star. Just got a $20 pedicure and my heels look exactly the same as they did when I went in. I'm 8 months pregnant and can't touch my feet or I would do my own. I showed the manager my heels when I left and he said we can't do heels anymore. If they can't do half my feet they should only charge half the price. So frustrated!! I made an appointment for pedicure and full set nails for 12:30.... Got seated for pedicure....waited, waited, by the time they came o Ed to start my pedicure it had been 45 minutes and water was cold! All employees saw me sitting there I waved to get their attention. Pedicure was about half the stuff done that I usually get done... nails weren't trimmed scrub and massage rushed and barely done. Got acrylic full set, kept asking for shorter, but not done, was hurt like 4 -5 times, never have had this happen before either ... had to cancel my 2:30 appt due to nail salon taking 3 hrs! Took my 5 year old daughter for a quick toenail and fingernail painting just for her at 5:00pm. They said they close at 7 and take walk-ins. AGAIN.. for a 5 year old... just to get nails and toes painted. They turned us away. There were literally 3 people working, with only 2 clients. They said they wouldn't be able to do it because they had 2 people coming in at 5:30. It would have literally taken you guys 10 min to paint my daughters toes and nails. I was going to get shellac nails after school around 2:00. and it wasnt that busy there yet. i was greeted nicely and sat down quickly and was started right away, barely having time to pick put my color for my nails. the lady trimmed and shaped my nails nicely, but when it came to putting the color on, she missed more than half my nail and layered it on too thickly. by the time i got done, it looked like i had bubble nails that wasnt done filling in with the polish. and this all could have been prevented if she hadnt RUSHED through them because her 3:00 appointment showed up 40 min. early. shellac is normally suppossed to last up to 2 weeks, but mine lasted 5 days. totally disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere to someone who knows how to properly apply shellac nails. read more

I've gone here multiple times and have always asked for French tips, and they've charged me anywhere from $7-$20, depending on what "occasion" I say I'm getting them done for. Only lasting thing about the employees at Lasting Nails was a crummy pedicure job and discourteous service - they were very impersonal. employees talked among each other and laughed while completing the pedicure. Paid 40$ for an acrylic set and the natural part of the colored nail is turning yellow after two damn days !!! Which means they buy their powder in bulk .. after I told them what design I wanted they tried to change my mind.. asking if I wanted a different design and after she started saying she couldn't do it and then rushed on the design. Great service!! All the ladies do an exceptional job. They are usually pretty busy, especially on the weekends, so you may have to wait if you walk in, but usually they are open for appointments at any time. My daughter went great lengths to do something for me on mothers day. I hesitated to do this, but it's important to me that i share my experience. I used to be a biweekly customer, and i was loyal. ... however going through a divorce i had to stop getting my nails done about 5-6 years ago. My daughter wanted to take me to my faithful nail salon. She called and scheduled an appointment on Mothers day. Neither of us knew that the salon had gone through an ownership change. I had the worst customer service experience ever! The new owner didn't speak english but insisted speaking to her husband to translate for me. .....i had simply asked that she do a manicure with nail art, which would include airbrush design. I was told she didn't have time and to come back tomorrow. I sat there and she finished, using cold water. .. and my hands soaked just long enough to get wet! My nails were uneven, nothing was filed, buffed, no cuticles were trimmed. ... and she only applied once coat of polish! I was so embarrassed for my daughter, all she wanted was to do something nice for me. ... and even she could see the awful customer service and was incredibly disappointed.
