Great spot in Twisp that just opened. We stopped in to try a flight and honestly, all three of their offerings were pretty good. The gin in particular was absolutely flowery with flavor, and I generally avoid gin myself. We were fortunate to take a tour of the facility as well, and spoke with the distiller for about fifteen minutes, learning about their process, products, and future plans. Walked out with a nice bottle of their bourbon. Very strong recommend to stop by. They're still pretty new but I have a feeling they'll be growing quickly. read more

New distillery opened in Twisp (easy 15 min drive from Winthrop). Tasting flight of gin, bourbon and rye with knowledgeable and friendly staff, can even get a tour of the area! Get the gin and tonic. It was so smooth and refreshing on a hot day! read more

Absolute banger of a location. Definitely need better signage to get more traffic. But, the staff is super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. But, better yet, the gin, bourbon and rye are all pretty damn good. read more

Specialties

At Last Chance Distilling, we are committed to producing high quality spirits (gin, bourbon and rye) in the Methow Valley. Our tasting room and production space is in Twisp, WA. In our tasting room, you can sample each of our carefully crafted spirits, neat and with a mixer - so you'd know how to use it at your home bar. We also have some small but tasty snacks to enjoy while you sip. Find your favorites and pick up a bottle or two! We also have bitters, shrubs and cocktail cherries for sale to complement your home bar! While tasting, check out our rad merch and show your support for the "Spirit of the Methow Valley"! Kids welcome in the under 21 area. Pets are welcome, on a leash and well behaved in our tasting room.

Established in 2023.

We’ve been working to open our doors to the Methow Valley since 2020 and celebrated our Grand Opening May 25th, 2024!

Meet the Business Owner: Brie S.

My foray into the beverage industry was just over 16 years ago when I worked for the Boston Beer Company. Over the years, my palate and interests have changed and I’m eager to bring high-quality spirits to the Methow Valley. I intend to utilize as many local ingredients as possible while collaborating with local businesses. If I’m not running the still, romancing a spirit, or giving a tour, you can find me mountain biking, cross country skiing or trail running… the faster the better!

We stopped in yesterday to check this place out and do some tastings, and we were really impressed! We met Brie, one of the owners, and she was knowledgeable and friendly. The gin, rye and bourbon were all great, but the gin was my favorite and we took home a few bottles to tide us over until we're back in the area. What a great addition to the Methow Valley!
