We were immediately greeted by the very friendly owner and invited to dive into their well-organized, beautiful displays of fabric. I was super impressed that, while their selection was not huge, they carried some of my very favorite fabric lines and at lower prices than I've seen at huge fabric stores in the big city. I settled on a yard of travel trailer fabric to add to my stash, and grabbed a few notions as well. It's honestly quite impressive how much they pack into this tiny spot! From calicos to batiks, and an impressive array of solids, I was able to find exactly what a needed during a recent visit to attend the first annual Winthrop Quilt Roundup. They also have a sweet selection of bundled pre-cut fabrics, and lots of gift items and cute baby and toddler gear. The owner is a true gem, there to answer questions and help with fabric selection. This has always been a must-visit on my Winthrop trips, and it will continue to be for as long as I'm still sewing!

Every year when visiting Chelan I make it a point to go into this store…read more The store is located on the main downtown street of Chelan. There is plenty of street parking. It's a small store but I always manage to find something to buy. They sell not only quilting cottons and flannel but notions, patterns, interfacing, their samples and some other things. The staff is very nice. They don't have a website but do have a Facebook account in which they will post store closings and changes to store hours.
