It's a small store but I always manage to find something to buy. They sell not only quilting cottons and flannel but notions, patterns, interfacing, their samples and some other things. The staff is very nice. They don't have a website but do have a Facebook account in which they will post store closings and changes to store hours.

From calicos to batiks, and an impressive array of solids, I was able to find exactly what a needed during a recent visit to attend the first annual Winthrop Quilt Roundup. They also have a sweet selection of bundled pre-cut fabrics, and lots of gift items and cute baby and toddler gear. The owner is a true gem, there to answer questions and help with fabric selection. This has always been a must-visit on my Winthrop trips, and it will continue to be for as long as I'm still sewing!

We visited Leavenworth for the first time, and of all the shops, this one is my favorite!…read more Lots of precious Franz items, but what I love mostly is the vast collection of Michel Works: soap bars, moisturizers, home sprays, candles, foaming hand soaps of all fragrances, aprons and kitchen towels with gorgeous floral patterns. The owners are the most friendly people I have ever met. Wish I lived closer to this shop!! ( I am from San Francisco, CA )

Certain flavors that is. I haven't been inside this shop since winter 2007/08. The gentleman behind the counter told us the story on how his wife loved this shop so much, that a few years ago, she saw the for sale sign, and told her husband that she must purchase this place. So they are the new owners. What a sweet story! He was so friendly! But the best part about this shop, is you have to go through the place to get to my favorite gourmet chocolates. Yes! I will drive over 2 hours just to get them! Sure I can order online, but what's fun about that!

Prices were not too high, and this appears to be one of the only games in town for groceries. So if you stay in Winthrop, you'll probably visit the place for one of your necessities.
