We started at the produce stands, featuring all sorts of fruits, veggies, and other locally-grown delights. I enjoyed one of the most delicious, juicy peaches I've ever had - I wish I'd bought more! After the food stalls, wandered to the various arts and crafts booths featuring everything from spice mixes to any and all types of arts. The assortment and levels of talent were spectacular. Parking here was a bit difficult, but that's mainly a testament to how popular this little market is. If you're ever in Twisp on a Saturday, I highly recommend stopping by. Pro tip: they're only open until noon, so get there early.

Their apple fritters are made with their own organic apples, and you actually get tasty pieces of apple in them and they don't have a nasty fried aftertaste. My fav was the caramel pecan (or something like that) with lots of nuts and rich frosting on top of a well made no hole donut. My husband really liked his daily special strawberry frosted chocolate cake donut with chocolate chips on top. I'm not a fan of the combination but all the elements were top notch. Lastly was another daily special, can't remember what they called it, but there was a square of chocolate marshmallow treat on the top, peanut butter frosting, and sort of a creamy caramel filling inside. Rich? Oh, yeah. We didn't have room for any of their savory donuts but I think one had a curry filling and it looked good. We will go there every time we're in Twisp, and you should too. I believe they open pretty early, 7 or 8. Nice and helpful people and you are dealing with at least one of the owners, too.
