I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid and contacts for 20 years. I was EXTREMELY nervous to get LASIK done, however I knew I needed it because I slept in my contacts and didn't change them as often as I should have. My vision was pretty bad (approximately -7 in both eyes with astigmatism) and post op I can confidently say this is the best investment in my vision/health I could have ever made. Pros: consultation was easy to schedule and was quick. Once I was approved for LASIK I was able to schedule an appointment to have surgery the next day. My appointment was quick and the procedure was painless, for the most part. Recovery has been simple and smooth and my vision is great! Cons: there was a slight discomfort during the procedure with the device used to keep your eye open, not painful per se just a bit uncomfortable. The post op burning and discomfort is the most challenging. They gave me Tylenol PM to take right before the surgery to help me sleep post op, however, I didn't feel like it kicked in soon enough. The pain was bearable and did not require me to take pain reliever medication. Would highly recommend LASIKPlus to anyone on the fence or considering.

My experience at LasikPlus in Plano was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. I was quite nervous about getting laser eye surgery, but the team at LasikPlus made me feel cared for and comfortable throughout the entire process. My initial consultation was effortless. My appointment started right on time, and all of the intake information was streamlined for ease and efficiency. The eye doctor who did my pre-op and post-op care was Dr. Michael Do. He treated me with the utmost professionalism while exhibiting some of the best bedside manner that I have ever experienced. He made sure to answer all of my questions both before and after surgery while being a calming and kind presence when I expressed my anxiety about the procedure. Dr. Do is incredible, like, I drove all the way from Houston to Dallas for my procedure because I knew Dr. Do would provide me the most excellent care! Other members of the team like Dr. Ngo also helped to answer my many questions and make me feel comfortable proceeding. It was so great to have the opinions and advice of multiple doctors! Dr. Smith - my surgeon- was equally professional and kind. He encouraged me during my procedure by giving me positive feedback about how things were proceeding. The entire surgery took about 5 minutes to complete, and, as soon as it was finished, I could see! No contacts. No glasses! My post-op care has been going super smoothly. I am now 1 week out and feeling amazing! I would 10 out of 10 recommend LasikPlus in Plano for your laser eye surgery! Note: Parking is super simple with a huge lot, and the facility is immaculate. Clean, neat, and very organized!

Got my LASIK surgery done couple month ago beginning of April. I was hesitant at first - I've never had any surgery before ... but LASIK is probably one of the most low risk surgery you can have. The staffs were very friendly and informative. You barely talk to the actual surgeons but the optometrists can answer all the questions you have! They often have discounts offered - mine was $1k off but you can also look into your insurance, sometimes they'll offer discounts for LASIK surgeries also (but can't be combined with the promotions from LASIK plus). LASIK most likely won't be covered by insurance since it's considered "cosmetic surgery". They also have financing options - but you can also pay with your HSA $$ which is what I was able to do. My experience: I went in for a consult. At first I wasn't a good candidate because I rub my eyes and had bad contact lenses habits. (As a result my eyes were too dry or my cornea wasn't healthy enough?) The staff sent me back and told me to not wear contacts and use eye drops everyday for 4 week and then go back for the consult. The second time I was back - I was now a great candidate!! ***NOTE: DON'T RUB YOUR EYES YALL!!! It's a bad habit They were able to schedule my surgery immediately the next day. Surgeries are done on Thursdays and Friday of each week. You do need someone to drive you since your eyes will need to rest after your surgery. During surgery: took less than 5 minutes? I can smell my own eyes being burnt, but I couldn't feel anything. It looked like a light show. Immediately afterwards your vision is clear... you won't feel any pain until 30-50 min after when the numbing drop fades. Recovery: it was HELL the first 3 days, I was in so much pain and eyes just kept watering. They said to sleep the first couple hours but I was in so much pain I could barely sleep. My eyeballs had a lot of bloody red spots where they did the cutting but it's just cosmetic. They were very clear on giving you post-op recovery steps!! Basically just keep using eye drops and wear sunglasses About 4 days: you stop feeling the sting/pain which actually feels like there is a piece of eyelash stuck in your eyes that you can't do anything about. You feel safe not wearing sunglasses but I still did. Went in for my post op checkup and staff told me I can even start wearing my makeup if I want. Said I have 20/20 vision About 1 week: Stopped feeling any eye discomfort, vision still blurs sometimes as it's still adjusting. Blood on eyeballs are fading About 3 weeks: blood on eyes are gone. Vision felt completely stable, everything is back to normal!! I now have stable 20/20 vision. :) I was basically legally blind before my surgery... Current: I still use no preservative artificial eye drops daily just to moisture my eyes and it's good to do so. Recommend buying the Costco package it's a good deal! This is pure magic!! Although expensive, like what many people have said, this is definitely one of the best purchase I've made.

Dr. Smith and the entire staff at LasikPlus are amazing! I had a consult in 2018 and decided not to proceed with Lasik then. I finally decided to take the plunge and had another consult less than 2 weeks ago. My Lasik surgery was yesterday afternoon and by this morning I was seeing better than 20/20. I never knew vision like this existed! So thankful I decided to go with Dr. Smith at LasikPlus! My only regret is not doing it sooner. Side note: my eyes are very sensitive to light (sunlight or any kind of light). As long as I keep using my eye drops and wear my sunglasses, I feel like I'm healing well. The staff was phenomenal in giving instructions on post op care

The real issue was optical prescription. I took it to Costco to make lens. Upon receiving the new lens, my vision became a lot worse because my left eye could barely see anything. Opticians at Costco suggested me to go back to Key Whitman for an re-exam. The second time I had the same lady (not sure if she was a licensed optometrist). The exam equipment was ill prepared. The chart was not even in the center of my view. We struggled a lot with the machine to get through the exam. I took the new prescription to Costco. The optician saw the results and told me that it was impossible that two exams would yield such different results within 10 days timeframe. They strongly suggested me to get a second opinion from another optometrist. I later went to a new independent optometrist office, paid exam fee to get a new exam. This time, I noticed that in this other optometrist office, the service and equipment were day and night comparing to those at Key Whitman Allen office. Now I am wearing the new lens from the latest eye prescription and cannot be more happy with it.

But as he is now so booked, I tried a different doctor for my severe dry eyes. After checking me she recommended what she called an IPL treatment and I said if she'd look at my records she'd see I'd already tried those and they didn't work, but that I'd tried an RF treatment a long time ago and got some relief. So we booked an RF Treatment. When I went for it, I was told it often takes 3 or 4 treatments and they can be 6 months apart. After 2 months I still had lots of burning and so I went back to the same doctor for a follow up. She looked at me and suggested a couple of products to use (she forgot to give me a printout so I don't know what they were) and said I could try another RF but I'd already had 2. I said no, I'd had 1. She argued with me until I proved to her she hadn't looked closely at my record and she was thinking I'd had one in Jan '26, but it was actually Jan '25. So she booked a second one. Then when I showed up and they had me back in the chair, I realized they were prepping me for an IPL, not an RF. I don't know whether the doctor was simply careless in the booking, or decided to book an IPL not having looked at my records. Either way, the carelessness is very disquieting. And their website will no longer recognize my email or password, and there is no way to correct it without just calling them. For a group with such advanced eye technology, the website is truly pathetic.

Very soothing, with pops of orange color in the artwork and accents. We both are thrilled with results of our Pan Optic cataract lenses. We also both required a follow up procedure due to the uniqueness of our eyes. I needed a Yag procedure a few years ago and hubby needed his lenses polished post cataract. She even explained that the surface of his eye was similar to a raisin and needed to be polished to smooth it out. Now that's down to earth language that we can understand!
