In 9/2020, I went to get a consultation about Lasik vs. PRK surgery with Dr. Chao. He patiently walked me through the relative advantages of each procedure and which was the right one for me. My PRK procedure (10/2020) was incredibly smooth; some of my friends had less than ideal experiences with other practitioners, but I'm happy to report my procedure and recovery process went perfectly. Dr. Chao and his team did an amazing job of caring for me, carefully explaining what I should expect, and always making me feel like I was being treated with the highest level of expertise.
