They are more than likely only on Groupon for exposure because this place is top notch. Every staff member I encountered here was great. To be honest if it wasn't for Michelle I probably would've never been brave enough to do it. She is beyond thorough at explaining what to expect the day of surgery. On the day of my surgery Dr Stetson walked in to introduce hisself. He spoke with me and my mom. I was very surprised they allowed my mom to come back for this part since I did have my surgery during "Covid times." So glad they did tho. I was so nervous I thought I was gonna walk out of there. Michelle walked in the room and told me everything was gonna be fine. Dr Stetson did a good job at telling me step by step exactly what he was doing every step of the way. I had PRK performed on both eyes, one week ago and feel like this was the best place to get it done. I have entertained the idea of getting LASIK years ago, but after finding out that I was not a candidate for LASIK and had to get PRK instead, I was turned off. The recovery period was quite frightening. But one morning while listening to the Bert Show, he mentioned that he was going to Diamond to get his eyes redone. I researched the company and was impressed by the reviews. I scheduled a consult and things just took off from there. I had a consult on a Tuesday, and was getting surgery on that following Thursday. I will admit that Chris is a little overzealous and pushy with his selling technique, but everyone in the office is very pleasant and knowledgeable. To add to my sense of security, my eye doctor, Dr. Warstadt was able to vouch for one of the doctors at Diamond (Dr. M. McKibbon), stating that he is aware of her skills, so much so, that he tried to hire her. The office itself is clean, they use state of the art technology, and they welcome you with snacks and drinks. I was so nervous about the procedure, but it was not painful and they did everything they could to keep me relaxed, During the procedure they offered me stress balls or a Falcons teddy bear. I opted for the bear. After the surgery, I was still feeling overwhelmed so they let me rest feet up as long as I needed and brought me an ice pack, water and offered me a blanket. I felt cared for and not rushed. I really appreciate that. Before, during and after, I have been able to ask any and all questions that come to mind, and they make it a point to answer each question thoroughly and clearly as possible. Also, the post-op schedule they give you is awesome, It works well for my type-A personality, with check boxes to notate when you take your medications. I would definitely recommend Diamond and Dr. Stetson to anyone who is interested in eye surgery. P.S. I have wore glasses for 15+ years with an ending prescription of -6. I recieved a procedure called photorefractive Keratectomy on April 16th and I currently have 20-20 a month and a half later from the surgery's date. Having no insight to the business performance or customer service including friendliness, communication, and knowledge. I could not have been happier with my whole experience from the very affordable price to my vision results. The whole team are all so exceptional assisting me. Starting with my first visit, a consultation appointment on March 6th. Chris Sabo performed the consultation, finalizing a $250 deposit for the procedure along with eye examinations. Followed by pre-operative exam on March 11th(3 business days later). DR. Marcy MCkibbin performed a thorough eye examination and prescribed me prescription drops. After I finally choose my procedure date of April 16th(26 business day later)with Dr. Steven W. Stetson. Surgery time no more than 10 minutes total for both eyes. I had the option for a procedure date on March 19th(6 business days after my pre-operative), with a local Doctor in the Atlanta area. Although I decided to wait the extra month to stay with DR. Stetson given his +50,000 surgeries experience. This DR. is in Atlanta once a month, so waiting for this pleasant and experienced Doctor is well worth the wait. As far as my post operative appointments after the procedure. Lorenys in the front of the office has been very patient carrying to my needs of constant rescheduling with my past two appointments. DR. Marcy MCkibbin have been taking care of me on my follow ups. Each visit had been taking no more than 5-10 mins of my visual acuity. Do not hesitate for your eyes! Even though my prescription wasn't extreme, Lasik Eye Surgery has completely changed my life. My vision is now 20/10, which is even better than 20/20. Not only do I never have to worry about glasses ever again, but my confidence has gone through the roof. Surgery was so quick and smooth, and recovery was 1000x easier than anecdotes I read on the internet said it would be. It isn't cheap, but then again, you only get one set of eyes, so I knew I was willing to pay for quality. My price included all the necessary eye drops and care for dry eyes, as well as a guarantee in case I need an adjustment ever. It's been three months, and my eyesight is better than it was in contact. My prescriptions were -7.00 in both eyes with a cyl of -1.75 in one eye and -0.75 in the other eye. I opted for PRK because my corneas were too thin for Lasik, and I am so happy with the results. Within a couple days I could see well enough to dry, and there was really minimal pain/discomfort. Writing a review one week after my surgery and so far, everything has been great! Chris at the Tucker location was particularly wonderful, helping me with all of my questions, comments, and concerns! The most unprofessional office I've ever been to. I recently went to get a LASIK consultation but couldn't decide if they were trying to sell me eye surgery or a car...the man running the office (Chris) was arrogant and acted like he was on drugs as he recited the speech he clearly has had practiced for his whole life...he bragged about all the famous people that have been to the office and discouraged me from using the Groupon they offered as he said it was "not an accurate procedure and would not help your vision" ?? Very confused how anyone would feel comfortable at this place. It felt like a major scam and the doctor is only in the office for a few days each month. Very sketchy stay away! Let me start by stating that I have not been into their physical location, mostly because of the events that led up to my consultation. I was referred by my eye doctor to another lasik firm, however, I wanted to do my due diligence and see other experiences to make sure I am making the best decision for myself and my eyes. I was in touch with Chris Sabo and let me know that I am proceeding with another lasik firm and thanked him for his time. Upon my rejection of their services he proceeded to text me two links connected to the firm of my choosing (mind you these articles are 10 years old) alarming me of their malpractice. I understand that this industry is all about sales and that my decision to go elsewhere may have lessened his potential commission for this month. However, I find it highly unprofessional to bash other firms in the area to gain business. I couldn't be happier with the results of my Lasik and the quality of service I received from Diamond Vision. Everything from scheduling a consultation to the surgery itself was a breeze. Chris was extremely thorough with pre-operative testing, providing immediate answers to questions and being there to help throughout the entire process. I was skeptical at first because they were priced better than a lot of the "recommended" places in Atlanta. They use the same technology and Dr. Stetson has performed enough surgeries that you shouldn't be worried. I did have some pretty severe dry eye for a few months post surgery which made me wonder if it was worth it, but that has improved. I'm seeing great now and no longer question it. This place is very thorough but some of there staff can take a lesson in how they communicate with people over the phone. When I am spending $3600 dollars for eye surgery ( and reminded you that I am paying out of pocket) I don't expect to be talk to like a child but it was a miscommunication on there part! Other than that I love the fact that they do all kinds of test on you to make sure which surgery is the best for your situation . I went back on the 16th of February and it was way different then the first time I went. Every tho Chris sale pitch was extremely strong and Convince me to pay the additional money for my eye surgery and (I was told which I paid for )that if I wanted to have the surgery over but when I went a week ago You would have thought I was asking for something free.The lady doctor had a very bad attitude and she is not a good listener. I can't say enough good things about Diamond Lasik. I've worn glasses since childhood - I was farsighted with an astigmatism and always wanted Lasik but had to wait until the technology could accommodate my needs. I spoke with the Diamond team at Woofstock and they promised to reach out when they could help me - and they did! Right at the time I was interviewing multiple clinics they called me and the friendliness of the staff got me to come in. I was frustrated by a couple of the clinics I'd checked out - they offered "low cost Lasik" but after the eval I was looking at $4000+ - but they'd offer a "discount". Diamond didn't play that game - they evaluated me, they told me what it would REALLY cost, they helped me understand how to best care for my eyes. I went in to mono-vision surgery wearing bifocals - within a couple of days I was 20/20 up close in one eye and not that far off in my far vision. Amazing experience and my vision gets better every day! I did opt for the IPL sessions to help minimize dry eyes and I'm glad I did - it's helped a lot!
