I went to Lisa to have lashes placed for the first time. She was super patient and had a very gentle touch. Plus, her chairs are extremely comfy. My issue is that I had an allergic reaction to the lashes (I know this could be the same wherever I go). I texted Lisa and she suggested topical Benadryl. My eyes were swollen shut by Saturday and I contacted her again. She said she couldn't see me until Wednesday, or find someone else. She emailed again later two hours before my appointment, she had to cancel and said it was a family emergency. I had been going to Lisa since about the time I moved to RSM in January. She was accommodating, polite and did an adequate job with my eyelashes. Last week I had a very bad experience in her salon and I will not be returning. She was unprofessional and insulting to me after having finished my lashes and taken my money. My question to her would be why not just let me know you don't want to service me instead of keeping me there for an hour and then stating my "eyes were so dirty and oily, as she put it, that you wouldn't be surprised if they all fell out." What professional does that, especially in front of other people? It was humiliating and bordering on racist. I have also heard her berating other customers with her partner after they had left. I don't appreciate that she only ever wanted to be paid in cash so as not to pay taxes on her work. If I pay taxes on my work, she should as well. I am very disappointed. read more

The first time you did my lashes I brought the baby, you removed eye lash extensions a practicing student had done. You added a full new set and charged me $50 which I paid cash. They didn't last more than a week. You then said they don't always last so again I scheduled an appointment this time leaving the baby with her dad at home. This time you charged me $60 which I paid you electronically. I contacted you again three days later explaining my dissatisfaction and you weren't willing to do anything to make it right. Not friendly no conversation to the point of rudeness. It is a low budget salon so keep it in mind. I am moving so will not return . Also, although she claims volume they are classic at best so be aware. There are much more professional and accommodating lash extensions out there so do your research. I love when Hala works on my eyebrows! She always does an amazing job with threading my brows to a great natural shape. She also has helped me by dying my brows slightly darker so I never have to fill them in-- I threw out my eyebrow pencil! I originally found Hala at A Brow Story in Mission Viejo, but now she's here. I've been doing my lashes with Lisa for about 5 months now and I can honestly say I hope she never retires or stops doing my lashes. She's the sweetest, most professional, accommodating lash artist I've ever had the privilege of being a client for. I've been getting lashes for almost 10 years now so I don't just go to anyone. As soon as I walked in I indicated that I had an appointment. She didn't ask my name at all, she alluded to say that she reached out to me via email last night asking me to come at 9 AM.
