So I bought myself a groupon for a full set of lashes with a free two week upkeep included and I have been pretty hooked ever since. For my first application I was really nervous being I had never had this done before and was very unsure as to what would be happening. I was shown a picture to choose what style and look I was going for and stressed to the woman who was working on me that I wanted my lashes to look natural but like they were thick and full. I layed on a heated massage table for about an hour and a half for the first application and def fell asleep lol. I really love Ester I had her for my first application and I plan to stay with her forever. My lashes were popping when I got to look at them the first time I wanted to hug Ester but I thought its our first time meeting and I didn't want to make it weird. I have now been coming to Lashful for about 3 months and I really love how my lashes look. I would recommend buying a package to save some money on upkeep. I was able to purchase a 6 package for $300 with 2 week upkeep. (saves 25$ each time). My only issue that I have with Lashful is there is a bit of a language barrier between the technicians and the customer. I had a lot of questions that I wanted to ask when I first came to get my application and I felt very unsure and nervous about what was being done. I felt as though the technicians only communicated with the woman at the front desk. Things are different for me now that I have established a relationship with the workers here being I have been coming here for some time now. I have noticed that my right eye has been loosing lashes way quicker than my left eye and will bring that up at my next appointment and see whats going on with that. read more

I just moved to NJ from NYC and had been nervous about going to a new lash place. Especially because you really don't know what you're going to get. I went to Lashful for the first time with half of a set of HORRIBLE set of lash extensions done by an amateur. I asked for them to be removed and have a full set applied. Not only were they understanding but they were so NICE. Maral, The lash technician, removed what she needed to and applied what ended up being the most beautiful set of lashes I've ever had applied... Ever. P.S. I do makeup for a living! We had some nice conversation throughout our appointment which is also a first for me. Very pleased with my fill with Grace. She used the 2x1 on me since I do not have so many lashes and they look natural and full. She was very fast only took 1 hour for my fill. Her hands smelled like high quality lavender essential oils which made me very happy. I was referred by a friend and booked with specific technician who they switched me to someone else without asking but in the end I loved the person I got even though at first I was concerned I didn't get the recommended technician. I may ask her to tweak the angles a bit next time but all in all I am happy and plan to return. read more

My first experience getting lashes was both bad and good. Similar to other people I also had a groupon since it was on sale and seemed like a really good deal considering it included a first fill. My lash technician was great, she did my lashes exactly how I wanted them, they looked beautiful! However, when I was getting ready to leave I was prepared to leave a tip for her, and obviously due to my lack of experience I was unsure how much would be appropriate and the location only takes cash tip (I rarely have cash). While I handed over about 5$ planning on giving a bit more, the second I handed it over the receptionist HUSTLED me for more. She literally tip shamed me! Saying that the service is usually over 200$ and basically waiting for me to give more. I ended up giving a total of 11$ and that's when she smiled. While I understand that it is a tedious service that takes typically 1 hr and 30mins, she took the pleasure out of me giving a tip by shaming me when she felt it wasn't enough. Again, the lash service was great, and I loved how it looked so I let it slide considering I had a fill. My fill was less than a week ago, and similar to other reviews the lashes on my right eye started falling out almost immediately, so now my left looks slightly fuller than my right but not bad enough that I necessarily need to get it filled again in less than a week. In my opinion I speculate that the right eye is fudged so that you have to get a follow up fill, otherwise how is it possible for the same thing to happen to multiple people with the same eye?? I understand the tactic, it keeps clients coming back especially because it's such an expensive service and people are less likely to return if the lashes last longer per session. Anyway I would recommend the technician, I wish I knew what her name was, she was very kind and professional (works in the first room usually). I would not recommend this location to anyone though, like I said, due to the shaming and iffy poorly done refill that forces you to come back. I opted out of my refill due to the location by the laundromat being closed on mondays, but also because of my experience. I wish it was better truly, and that the groupon actually saved me some money, instead of being hustled out of as much cash a possible making the service more expensive that groupon that was paid for. I will start going to way more affordable and quality services in my home state. read more

The girl I had, I think her name was Lydia was very nasty, she made me feel that the lashes I had on already were horrible. I was skeptical at first, but what a difference the eyelashes are! The staff is so warm and inviting,even letting my daughter stay in the spacious room with us while I was getting my lashes applied. I felt liek a millon bucks after! The whole procedure took alittle over an hour but she is so meticulous, its worth it. Painless and lying comfortably throughout..... Very clean location! Loveee the way my lashes came out. I normally don't have reactions to anything but I did have some irritation in my lower eyelids- nothing major just redness and very little sensitivity. Went to the dr (just in case due to the area) and was told most likely due to glue and told me to use Visine Allergy eye drops. Lesson- even if you don't normally have reactions ask for the sensitive eye glue. I wish I could continue getting the extensions because I am obsessed with they way they look but cannot continue to do so. read more

I've been visiting lashful for 4 years now and love them. The facility is very clean and use high quality products. I was worried that my lashes would get damaged from constant extensions over a long period of time. However I have been visiting lashful for many years now and they are still in great condition. Ive been getting my lashes done off and on for 2 years at different places and in comparison this experience was not completely horrible, but I would not recommend them to my friends. I probably should have mentioned that I purchased a groupon prior to the appointment, but I didnt think it would be a huge issue. The person at the front desk made me feel like she was slightly judging me for having a groupon. Im not sure why you offer them If youre going to turn your nose up to someone trying to redeem the voucher. She was adamant about the fact I needed to get the filling in two weeks as per the voucher but she had nothing available on the 14th day, So i asked for the following monday and she was annoyed that it was 1 day over 14 days and said thats not usually allowed but they would make an exception this one time. Gee Thanks for the favor ! but last time I checked since when is it my fault you didnt have available appointments ? Why am I paying you to treat me like youre doing me a favor . Rude. I guess the technician doing to lashes doesnt speak english because the rude woman from the front desk came in the room asking about what lashes I wanted. I asked if she had a chart showing the options , which I had seen at the last salon I used to go to. Her response was " if you saw it someplace else why would we have it here" and laughed at me in a very condescending manner. I apologized for my offensive question , because clearly due to her unnacceptible reaction I could only assume I offended her. Not to mention the lashes are way too long. I said i wanted them very full but not too long - and she said natural or dramatic? I was like i guess dramatic because i want them very full? but again not too long - Heres where the chart would have been super helpful to see what the different styles where! The woman doing my lashes , whom I think was named Christine , but I am not entirely sure . I am pretty sure for every 5 lashes she was pulling one off. When I asked her why did it feel like she was taking lashes off she giggled and said sorry, obviously not understanding what I was asking. Also lightly stabbed me in the eyelid when she was removing one of the lashes. I know when I usually get them done when I first open my eyes it burns a little from the glue, but this time it was burning off and on the entire time. I wanted to ask her how she was applying the glue , but you know the language barrier would have proved that question useless. read more

I had initially posted a great rating because it was immediately after I had gotten my eyelash extensions and they looked awesome! My initial rating and review was 100% how I felt about the service and results the day I got the service, however from there on, I was extremely disappointed in the outcome more and more as each day went on. With the price for this service being $270 + a generous tip being that I was happy with the outcome in the salon, I did think it was a little pricey but thought it'd be worth it, because I was told they would last at least 4 weeks with a recommended touch up in 2 weeks. The service was tedious and quite time consuming, I was told the lash extensions would hold up as long as my natural lashes do and fall out as they normally would. Within a few days more then half of the lashes had fallen off and just the extensions, not my entire eyelashes. They seemed to have folded or weakened and cracked off, it was bothersome to my eyes at this point.. I had kept finding them just falling off on their own even on my pillow or vanity and not with my own natural lashes attached. I was very disappointed that this had happened after being so happy with the first day's results, paying so much and tipping the lash stylist so well, only to have had the lash extensions come off completely within a week. I followed the directions they told me accordingly and did nothing to cause them to fall off this excessively. I loved the initial results so much I made the touch up appointment to keep them like that, but the original set did not even make it with anything left for them to touch up! When I called the owner to discuss/cancel the touch up appointment, I was told me she would touch up my lashes accordingly(said nothing about discounting or not charging for the "touch up" when I had told her what happened and was kind of upset they hadn't lasted as I was told). She said because she was not there when I had the lashes put on she could not explain why or help. I am not sure if she could tell I was very dissatisfied because I was not rude or complaining at all. I just wanted some kind of resolution for why my set would have come off so fast with following the directions and aftercare as told and cancel the touch up appointment so I'd not pay more for a touch up or end up being charged for a full set again that would only last a few days. After all the money I had paid and time I sat in the salon to have the extensions only to last for a few days. I did not bother going back. The assistant/receptionist then called me back asking what happened and what was the problem, she was not offering much help, but was trying to still get me to come in, as if it was something I had done wrong or her boss had misunderstood what I was saying and questioned again why I had cancelled the touch up appointment. I felt they did not value my business and just wanted to make more money by having me come in again because again nothing was mentioned of the salon being willing to help or see if the service was possibly done incorrectly or try it again with shorter extensions or most salons would probably offer a refund of some sort for such unsatisfactory results. I don't understand why a company would want to bring in clients that pay for a service that is supposed to last a certain amount of time and can do nothing to resolve or offer the customers a new service or "touch up" or a refund for something that was done incorrectly or poorly to have that kind of an outcome after only a few days when spending that kind of money. It was suggested to write to the better business bureau, but I would rather have been able to resolve something with the salon. I may try to speak to the owner in person at the salon, it is just a bit out of my way but if I am ever in the area. Posting this review because I would hate to see other people spend $350(with tip) and two hours to have the lashes fall out in a few days as mine did. read more

I was very disappointed in my experience at this spa. The lashes felt very stiff and not like mink normally feels. I've been having extensions for years and never ever felt them AFTER they were applied. It feels uncomfortable and unnatural and I was not even consulted on size or shape of the lashes before the process started even after asking repeatedly!! I also feel that once it was known I was using my "groupon" the service and attitude towards me changed-and not for the better. I paid for a 2 week touch up but am not going to go back. I've never had fake eyelashes done before and I was pretty nervous! The process was long, which was expected, but then again why would I want a rushed service?? They took their time to make sure each lash was done properly and perfectly! I can't believe I never got them before and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I don't have to worry about curling my lashes in the morning and putting on mascara. It's like instant makeup when you wake up! GREAT product and GREAT service and super nice staff! First off, I'd like to say that I have been using eyelash extensions for over 5 years and have to admit that I am addicted. To never have to wake up with mascara under my eyes is so worth it!! When I started with extensions, the place I went to (which is no longer in business) charged me by the lash!! and it was way more expensive. I did lots of research and finally found Tina. I have never looked anywhere else. I find her prices to be very fair, her service is awesome as is her staff. Very often I am away scuba diving for nearly a month, and am happy to say, that my lashes still look great. Not to say that I haven't lost some . . . but it beats having to use mascara or worse . . . going without. While the initial application took a little longer, the touch ups (anywhere from 2 1/2 - 3 weeks apart, sometimes longer if I'm traveling) rarely take more than an hour. Obviously with extensions, you can't rub your eyes or use any kind of make-up remover--which will weaken the glue that holds the extensions--and I try to keep them dry for the first 24 hours after the touch up--and as I say, I absolutely love them, and couldn't imagine going without. As a scuba diver, and certainly when I travel to go diving, I am underwater a lot!!! and am so please at how well they last. In addition to scuba diving, I also paddleboard, do trapeze, play tennis, ski, rock climb, etc, so I would say I have a pretty active lifestyle . . . activities that are far from glamourous--but my extensions make me feel a bit more presentable despite that. Lashful's locations is convenient, clean, bright and very comfortable. Tina and her staff are great and do an outstanding job! So much so that I've even sprung for Permanent eyebrows. Worst ever. I have been having extensions for a while in NY and I wanted to try something local. I went a 10 days ago. While I was having them done, my eyes were burning. I told the technician and she said I needed to close tighter my eyes!! That day my eyes were very red. That same night I started to loose the eyelashes. A bunch of them. I finished at the ER with a pretty bad scar on my cornea. The funniest part was the message from gIgi at Lashful, "the eyelashes don't fall in the cornea"!!! Obviously I must have put them myself. It took only three days to loose all of them, was loosing many together and my eyes were a mess. I'd rate them a 2.5. As for the lashes, they are gorgeous, be prepared to sit for almost 2 hrs to get them put on. Personally I'd rather them take their time then rush. Mine last around 2 wks and then need a touch up. Although i have had my lashes done a few times by them, i will say they are WAYYYYY over priced and should def think about adjusting them. However due to last very disappointing experience i had with them, i wont be returning. My allergies were really bad this yr and i had to take my lashes off after 3 wks. My eyes were itching like crazy and i hated seeing my lashes fall off. So i went to to lashful and she removed them. Afterwards, she wanted to charge me $50!!! for 10 mins of removing the damn things!! i almost had a heart attack. After arguing with her, she dropped the price to $35. wow what a huge break!! Everyone their is so sweet and professional, they answered all my questions except for the lady doing my lashes who did not speak English. The whole process took a little less than 2 hours. They came out beautifully. After 2 weeks, I'd say 50% fell off. Came back for a touch up and again it's beUtifully done. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm debating if I should get a retouch. I just can't justify with their prices lol me personally I feel it's overpriced. I just can't seem to bring myself to spend $70+ every 2 weeks. Yes they look lovely but it's temporary for a short time. Would I get it again? Yes but maybe for special occasions or if I feel like pampering myself. They looked fantastic the first time I got them done by Angela. I went back withn two weeks for the touch up and they did not look as good. The corners of my eyes were not done properly like the first time. She made up some excuse and pretended not to speak good english. They should not look like false eyelashes. I complained to the person at the desk and asked for a translation and then the fixed them. They are pushy about getting the touch up done every week which is a little pricey for what you get. I opted to go every three weeks for $75. instead of $50. or $60.00 for 1 or 2 week touch up. Remember to complain before you leave if you are not happy. They will do NOTHING after you leave. Ask the person at the desk to translate what you want before you start and check the corners of your eyes when you are done. If you can put mascara on it you can lash it. I did find that they looked less and less every week that I did the touch up. I let them fall off and then purchased a groupon for $99. I got them done by Isabell and they look pretty good. The corners are better. I still get this done but I am just as pushy when they don't look good. After all I did just pay for a service and I should be happy. I got the bottoms done with the brush on stuff by Angela. It was the worst $50 I ever spent. Do not waste your money on this. It looked clumpy and took forever to wear off. I could have paid them another $25.00 to take it off. They saw that it looked terrible and still did nothing. I also had a full set put on in Fort Lauderdale at Tiffany's Nail Salon on Las Olas Blvd. for $100. .in January 2013 This was the best money I have ever spent on lashes. I am a believer in the power of eyelash extensions! I have been a mascara junkie all my life, popping on falsies for special occasions to give my eyes that extra pop. Being blonde, I've always relied on mascara to add a dramatic look & make my eyes pop. Well, I don't think I will ever go back to mascara now that I've been getting my eyelash extensions by CK for the past 3 months! I have never been disappointed. They take their time to make sure your eyes look their best and also make sure you are comfortable during the process!
