The review is for the studio and lash artist Ashley. Booking an appointment here was easy! Found them and was able to book easily through google. They do require at least 24 hours notification if you are going to cancel and they charge 50% of the service if it is not canceled within those 24 hours. I came here to get my lashes fixed and saw Ashley. The new lash client appointment is scheduled for 1.5 hours I was out an a little over an hour. She did an amazing job. I went in with my eye completely bald. She was profesional and kind. The studio is located right off of main st so parking could be tricky. I visited Lashey Lady Studio for the first time today, and I must say, it was an absolute game-changer! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff. It was very easy to book online and I was able to score a same-day appointment for brow lamination. The studio itself was super cute, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Cute little shop with excellent artists. I had the pleasure of having my first set of lash extensions placed by one of the advanced artists and was really pleased with the experience. I loved the comfortable setting, the care instructions and attention I received while in the studio. I also really love the look and feel of the product. I've had other product placed in other salons and can say the technique and products used are high quality. I even had my esthetician ask if she can touch my lashes as she was about to begin my facial as she said she had never seen extensions which looked so wispy and natural. The only thing that almost kept me from giving 5 stars was the lack of conversation from the technician. Last year I tried their lash lift, a semi permanent curl or bend added to my own lashes, and really liked it. My natural lashes don't have much curl, and aren't very long, but this service addresses that and makes them much more visible. Goes great with some mascara. After waiting and waiting, I finally pulled the trigger and got lash extensions about 5 weeks ago. I LOVE them! It's surprisingly easy to take good care of them (Lashey Lady's website provides amazing FAQs and aftercare instructions). I wash them everyday with the lash cleanser that Lashey Lady sells, let them air dry, and then fluff them with the complimentary spoolie brush provided at the end of the service. The whole process feels a lot easier than wearing mascara. That surprised me. I always thought mascara was easy, but this seems even easier. And one of the best parts is waking up and looking in the mirror, and not looking like a troll. Carli, Alex, Hayley, and the whole team at Lashey Lady are sweet and make you feel welcome. Carli is the owner and #girlboss that keeps this place running in tiptop shape. She is dedicated to training and education, and makes sure that every one of her lash artists complete a comprehensive training program. I went to Lashey Lady for about a year and a half, sinking THOUSANDS of dollars into their studio. Lash extensions = highway robbery. Lashey Lady is incredibly expensive, and the quality is questionable. Some of the artists are better than others (more on that later). Getting eyelash extensions is like putting your money into a spiraling toilet, watching it spin around, and then flushing it down every two weeks. It is a waste of money. If you're rich, or if you have no problem throwing your hard-earned money away, this is the best lash studio to do it at. They have the prettiest, glitter-filled spiraling toilets. Lashey Lady is probably one of the best lash studios in Sonoma County, but the quality of work varies from artist to artist. Alex is by far the best lash artist there! She is fantastic. The glue she uses holds up for over 1 month. When I first started going to Lashey Lady, I saw Laura. She was terrible. My lashes would fall out after 1 week. Lyda is just OK. I never saw Karli, but since she is the owner, I assume she would be amazing. But I don't recommend you see anyone, since lash extensions are overrated. The only thing I recommend you do here is walk in, buy their GrandeLash growth serum, and then walk right back out. But if you really want to try them out, do everything you can to get an appointment with Alex! I never felt appreciated here, despite my loyalty and long-term patronage to the shop. They are slow to get you an appointment, but quick to take your money and quick to show you the door out. The only person who ever seemed genuinely interested in customer service was the owner, Karli. Too bad her staff isn't as friendly as she is. The cons of eyelash extensions outweigh the pros. They are a maintenance nightmare and budget killer. You do get addicted to the "I woke up like this!" feeling, but it isn't worth the frustration of them falling out so fast. Who can afford $115 (90-min volume fill + tip) every 2-3 weeks? Sure, having amazing, unnaturally long and full lashes helps builds your confidence in yourself, but not your bank account. At the end of the day, no one besides you and your money-sucking lash studio cares about your lashes. Your boyfriend or husband doesn't care. Your girlfriend or wife doesn't care. Your friends don't care. Your coworkers don't care. Strangers don't care. Please, do yourself a favor, and move on like I did. I actually feel prettier now seeing my real eyes, rather than making them look like Mr. Snuffleupagus. Lash extensions are a booming trend that will soon fade. A bit of well applied wax, a few tugs, a pluck here and there and...check brows cleaned up, took all of 4 mins. Did it hurt...ummm...not really, it was am interesting experience for sure. Nose hair...This one I was terrified of...insert a wax lolipop in ease nostril, and a quick yank and them hairs be gone, the inside of my nose was whistle clean...did it hurt...a tad but not nearly as bad as when I have at it MYSELF. Ear Hair...If you have no ear hair...I hate you! Insert wax lolipop and yank, a few plucks for klingons and ears B' clean...I actually thought i could hear better! Last but not least, I returned a few days later for a mini facial. This was very relaxing and a non-extraction version. Here is where I deducted one star, the gal was great, the experience relaxing...I wanted to know what was being applied and why, educate a brotha' so I can understand the real benefit/science behind the experience. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING... I saw the reviews and photos for this place and was hoping for a great experience. Unfortunately it was a dud. Had my eye lashes filled here today by Laura one of the expert lash artists at Lashlady and now disappointed. I had volume mix length 12-14 when I went in and came out with 10-12 sparse naturelll :( I told her I wanted a full fluffy look and long. I paid 75.00 for 60min. What I left with looks like a 30min touch up on single application lashes She was gentle I give her that but very slow on the application...like a beginner!! I left with a very natural almost unnoticeable short look rather than long fluffy volume. I have been a lash wearer for about 4 years. I take very good care of my lashes and only seek out the most experienced lash artists/Salons and I'm brand new to Santa Rosa and told her I was looking for a new lash stylist. I don't think she cared...?? She also just wasn't friendly didn't talk or really say anything at all. I asked her about another service they offered the "Facelift Facial" she said she really didn't know anything about it?!? She's been their 4 years and their are only 2 facials on the menu I felt so rushed from the moment she walked me back. I tried to show her pictures and explain what I was hoping for but she didn't seem interested in fact It seemed more that she was just bothered by it then she suggested I lay down because we only had 60min. It was so uncomfortable but I made the best of it. I needed that fill just to get by until I could make appt with a professional or I would have gone elsewhere. It's too bad it's such a cute place I loved the Cute Country feel and the Flower wall..,,but not at all the spa feel you think you might get from the website. It was more like fast food lunch in bright spot. Too bad too I was interested in talking with someone their today about the Microblading the photos look great...when I asked her who did them she named off a few names and dropped the conversation...guess she is just too busy applying lashes and doesn't care about future business. I have never left a review before but this place is supposed to be 5 stars after 95 reviews!!! I feel so taken advantage of and I work hard for my money to just give it away for bad service. I have struggled if i should write this review. It comes down to that I made my decision to go to this establishment based on their 5 star rating. I feel it's only fair to customer like me to post an honest review based on my experience. First, the shop is warm and inviting with its decorating and the warm invites by the owner and the girl at the counter. This is the only reason for the 2 star review, otherwise it would be a 1 star review. For the service they place you in a room with 2 beds and a foldable partition. When I was in the middle of getting lashes on a technician came in with a client, talking while performing a facial. It became so uncomfortable for me so quickly that I lost the ability to be relaxed. Personally, when I get facials I want a quiet atmosphere in a single bed room. I can't stress how uncomfortable it is to be laying on a bed while listening to another client get a facial in the same room. The most upsetting aspect it that I paid around 200 for lashes that only lasted 7 days. I even had to come in 2 days after for "revisions" as the lashes were falling out on the first day. I followed their directions and was cautious of the lashes as I wanted longevity on my investment but it didn't help, 85% gone by day 7. My mother is accustomed to lashes and was astounded at how quickly they fell out, her experience has been much more positive from her lash lady in Santa Rosa. Bottom line is that I paid $277 (which included waxing (no complaints) & a "special" wash for lashes)which is a lot of money to enjoy lashes for a week, not feeling the value and having tremendous feelings of regret. read more

Update! Got my brows micro-bladed by Karli, I was so nervous because I've never done anything like that to my FACE! Lashes are one thing, but microblading.... I was scared lol That being said, they do such a great job mapping out the shape and picking the right shade for you! I LOVE THEM! They look so good and so natural and I really love not having to worry about them when getting ready. I came back for my 6 week touch up and we decided to go a little thicker on the blade and a little darker in shade and they look even better ! So so happy with the results!!! I had never thought of having eyelash envy at age 73, but I had a skin cancer removed from my right eye 4 years ago which resulted in the majority of my lashes on that eye being removed by a surgeon. After looking at my eyes for the past 4 years in a mirror I decided to see what could cosmetically be done to make it look a little bit more normal. I finally visited LashyLady Studio for a consultation. Since there are a very minute amount of lashes left at all it isn't possible to "add" any. That was disappointing to say the least. But, Karli, the owner, is incredibly resourceful and knows exactly what will & will not work. I am so surprised at what she has already achieved. She is a "true" artist, thinks outside the box when necessary and has put a smile on this old lady's face. Lillian is for sure a artist. It's very important to me when getting my brows done that my esthetician trims my brow hair first and that's exactly what Lillian does. She also outlines your brow shape before waxing which make complete sense and is a great idea. She's really good and I recommend her to everyone that comments on my brows. Hello Yelpers - After envying the luscious lashes of others and realizing "Wait, they're fake"?!? I did a little homework and found Lashey Lady Studio... (I was willing to drive into the city), but after reading the reviews, I thought "heck, they are here in my own town... why not give it a try"? So here's how it went for a first-timer: * I walked in to this quaint and well decorated cottage business. * Greeted by a friendly young woman who assured me Lyda would be right with me, and handed me a little questionnaire to fill out regarding what I wanted to accomplished. * Lyda brought me back to her studio space and discussed what I wanted, and what I didn't want. (Personally, I didn't want Venus fly traps... I just wanted fuller volume and the slightest addition in length... as natural yet stunning as possible). * Lyda knew exactly how to accomplish this, and she did!!! The test for me was going to be how my husband responded... I didn't tell him what I was having done, only that I was going for a "face day"... which usually means a facial... When I returned home that day he responded, "Well, I don't know which facial you did this time, only that you look really beautiful"... My favorite however, were the mornings that followed. My husband kept remaking "You look exceptionally beautiful this morning"... after a few days, I finally let him in on it. My goal accomplished. No mascara. Just more volume and drama (small drama). Personally, I think the price is well worth it!! I have not worn mascara in a little over 2 weeks (I'm usually a 3-4 coater), but now I look and feel my best from the start of the day, hot off the pillow!! I have long, dark eyelashes, that are completely straight and no matter how I curl them or what mascara I put on them, they stubbornly stay put. I made an appointment with Kathleen for a lash lift--oh my gosh, the difference it makes is incredible! First, I never wear makeup. Ever. It's just not something that I've ever put into my daily routine. When I do wear makeup, it's mascara and bronzer for me, that's it. I was in recently for a leg and Brazilian wax preparing for my upcoming 'do absolutely nothing on a beach' honeymoon and although I was more motivated than usual I was dreading the wax...apparently for no reason! This was my first wax with Micaela and it was over before I knew it. She made me so comfortable like I was just chatting with a friend. Very thorough, probably the most thorough wax I've ever had which is impressive for how quick it was. Micaela has obviously been waxing for a long time to have such a good flow. 100% recommend her.
