I went and saw Mandy at Luu Lashes and it was the best experience and my lashes are amazing! HIGHEST QUALITY: I have had many people complement my new accessory, not realizing they were not my own lases because they look so soft and full, nothing like false eyelashes at all. When I did my research about the lashes, I found out that most places only do the faux mink if you pay extra each time---Faux Mink is the only kind of lash that Mandy uses. She also uses the highest quality adhesive---which the other lash places have you pay extra for as well. PROFESSIONAL & EXPERIENCED: Mandy always gets back to me right away and during my first booking when I needed to reschedule a couple times she was extremely accommodating to my very busy and sporatic schedule. She answered all my questions with full knowledge about her craft and she informed me she had been doing this for nine years now--which pretty much sealed the deal. Before I even met her in person, we had talked on the phone a few times and I felt like we were already friends. She is a wonderful person! She responds to phone calls, emails and texts, so you never feel like you have to wait a few days for the specialist to call you back---which can happen at larger salons. Lastly, as a professional should, Mandy keeps everything sterile and extremely clean---which should be a no brainer---but her going above and beyond in this area made me feel extra safe in her hands. FRIENDLY, ENJOYABLE: When I arrived for my first appointment, of course I was a little nervous to have someone touching my eyes for a long time, but Mandy talks you through all the steps and makes you very calm and relaxed. The first lash installment lasted over two hours and I thought I would be bored out of my mind, but Mandy kept up conversation, had great music going on, and the room was perfectly warm so you don't get cold from lying still for a long time. STILL THE BEST: I just had my second installment and it lasted a little under two hours, and as always, it was a great to have Mandy work on me---we chatted, listened to her killer iTunes Genius mix :) and just hung out. I have already referred one person there who already referred another (this all within 10 days!)....Obviously, Mandy's work and killer attitude speak for themselves---she is FANTASTIC---highest quality lashes delivered by the sweetest gal--can't beat that!

We'll see how it lasts in about a month or so! If things go well, Clair will for sure be my go to locally. Pro tip: definitely do the online booking; don't call/text. It was super hard to connect that way when I tried to see her a month before this appointment. Online booking was clear and easy but, just a heads up she does ask for a small deposit though ($10) at booking that goes toward overall service cost which is totally reasonable.

She is patient and meticulous when it came to my lashes and how they looked. What sets her apart is she ensures the aftercare is done well. On my first visit she provided me some gentle lash soap so I can take care of them and some spoolies to comb them out. The little touches that she has really sets her apart. I am literally shocked they are in business with…read morethe lack of knowledge of doing their job correctly and the lack of hygiene with the building and doing peoples nails. My gel pedicure was horrible when she tried to cut out an ingrown toenail to the root and made me bleed quite a bit and then not even put pressure on it to help it stop but rather put the those green drops on it which didn't help. Then she didn't even wipe away the blood before painting my toes so the bottle of paint is contaminated with my blood and she wasn't wearing gloves during that time which is unbelievable. They use a universal brush to scrub your toenails before drying them off that looked like it should have been thrown away 40 days ago. Now my toe has been throbbing for the past 2 days and I hope I don't get an infection from this lack of hygiene and care. My gel manicure on my natural nail seemed like a simple task but both the owner and the lady who started on my fingers was a joke. I could tell once the first girl started to shave down my nail was using the wrong bit and made my cuticle bleed on 3 different fingers. Then she placed so much acrylic powder on my very short nails I was dumbfounded by her technic and was hoping she was going to fix it but then she started filing with the most dull file it wasn't doing anything to the shape or thickness. I'm not exaggerating when I say the powder was over an 1inch thick. She then started using regular nail clippers to cut the dried acrylic powder to make a straight line I am assuming. She told me to go wash my hands and I told her I was done and going to walk out when the owner came over and "tried" to fix it but was blaming me multiple times when she was helping fix this issue that it was going to thick. No just no. No one's gel powder should be thick like that. She rushed the paint job and my powder is still so thick after leaving. My nails look like I did it all myself at home and I almost refused to pay for the manicure it's so bad. I got a stupid coupon for money off next time .... You are crazy to think that I would ever set foot in there again. While I was in the salon... multiple other customers were complaining so I knew I wasn't alone.
