This is about their booking system and my wasted time. I have never been here before and came from Petaluma to try it out, found them on Yelp, vetted them on IG and then booked online. I went in for a brow wax, the girls seemed nice, and friendly. But I was turned away for using Tretinoin 3x a week. When I booked online I do not recall reading anything about this studio being unable to wax clients that use active products. I assume being in the mall you attract locas. This is the first time I have experienced a company wanting my skin 2 WEEKS clear from using active products. Hold on... These girls went to school and should know active products are key to a functional skin care routine for a LOT of people that deal with various issues. So you want me to use active products only for a week once a month? In order to get waxed here, really? Have a waiver for people to sign saying your not responsible for lifting (and whatever else your worried about) because of xyz, instead of what your doing, it's a waste of everyone's time. So basically if you go here and your new- you fill out information on a iPad. For the ladies that use active ingredients on your skin care and want to try this place out. LIE on the iPad, mark no to everything, to keep your appointment. But be educated about the risk if your going to lie, you may lift, you may not, don't use active products a few day prior to your appointment. To the owner- put a disclaimer or make it more noticeable about your policy for people booking online. Maybe on your IG post a story of your policy if you care that much about covering your tail. Maybe a pop up window when booking or just a disclaimer, clearly stating you will turn people away if they use these products. Make it clear, so your not wasting your employees time or potential clients time. This was a big waste of my time, like I said, my suggested to the owner is having a wavier that clients sign relieving your business and employees of responsibilities due to all things you listed and not what your doing currently. So and maybe state on the website inside the mall near Target/Orange Theory if legally allowed to, might help people find the spot faster. Keyword here- Transparency before hand not after. Worst Brazilian wax ever. I had Brazilian wax done a few times at different places (meant I do not do it regularly due to ingrown hair afterward) and this place is the worst ever!! I chose this place just because other places couldn't take me as it's a last minute decision before my trip and this place is very near by my house. From my previous experiences, all other places I have been to they truly care and want best results for you, so they always trim the hair before waxing for you to the right length to avoid breaking hair. And Brittny knows fully not get the right length of the hair is going to cause the hair to break but she just didn't care and continued performing the waxing anyway and as a result, I have so many breaking hair now that I have to tweeze them out myself When I mentioned about this she said her policy is not to trim the hair, Wth? trimming the hair will take you less than 2 minutes. (Btw, I didn't see "client has to trim their own hair before coming in" policy stating anowhere on her website, as pictures attached to prove) She may be good on some other things but for a Brazilian wax, better go somewhere else. read more

Not on fleek. Instead, my under eye skin has been stinging as I'm writing this. I've been going to the same lash technician for a year now with a few different technician appointments here & there when I'm out of town. Let me just say if you have the courage to come here and book an appointment, don't do it for the lashes. My appointment with Daysha was not what I expected. She had a very different approach to lashes than those from other cities I've gotten lashes from (NY, LA, Oakland) but I respected her opinion. We had a disagreement on my lash fill which I was very open to doing a removal but she failed to communicate that it would take 2 days to be able to do removal & lash fill (something other spots have no problem with). It really just came down to her passive aggressive attitude and lack of communication. I could tell she was inexperienced by her hesitancy to do what many lash technicians have already done. I respected her artist opinion but think her backhanded remarks about my lashes did not leave me wanting to continue this experience. It's a pass for me. Ambiance: Also their music is not relaxing at all. I started getting anxious from their annoying marketing video which kept going on repeat. I have never put on my own eye lashes and only one time I got them put on individually and it was horrible so I was afraid to walk into On Fleek because I didn't know what to ask or look for I had no idea on how to put the eye lashes on. I was out of my comfort zone completely. However I was greeted by Angelina and right off the back she made me feel super comfortable and talked to me about eye lashes and how she likes her eyelashes.
