Offering tea, water and cookies while waiting is a welcoming touch. The shop is light, airy, comforting and unlike so many other day spas, NOT crowded with the usual assortment of commercial wares for sale. She has a small tasteful display, and beautiful artwork instead. The spaces set up for services are not your usual salon style. Instead, there is a small bar up front for makeup work, and private areas screened from the rest of the shop creating a warm welcoming safe space. (I hate feeling like I am on display when I have wax or dye paste on my brows, lol). Rabia and her staff are kind, quiet, and knowledgeable. I learned a great deal about what I was doing both right and wrong with my makeup. Truly a wonderful experience. How did we find them? Serendipity. We found Lotus Many years ago when we first went to Two Women Doing Hair right next door. The owner of Two Women went next door to Lotus and brought Rabin back to meet us when we asked about brows. While we no longer live in the area, we often talk of Lotus with found memoires, and miss Rabia.
