I went to 3 other lashests before I found Sonya and OMG she is AMAZING!! So freaking skilled and always does them just like I ask. Sometimes a little more chill and natural, sometimes super glam and sometimes perfectly in between. I've even had her add some fun colored ones to make them pop for special occasions a couple times. She was even super sweet and supportive when I said I wanted to take a break and see how it felt to not have them on. Very unsatisfied!!!! I made my appointment Sonya for eyelash extensions my regular eyelash tech was booked so I decided to try this out with another lash tech. Unfortunately I wish I would of just waited, I spent 2 hours getting my lashes done and I'm not sure if her nails were too long or maybe she doesn't have the experience but she poked my eye with the lash tool and my eye was IN PAIN!!! The redness is still not going away and my eye is so irritated when I reached out to Sonya she did apologize and said the most she could do is refund me half and would remove them I explained how I satisfied I was because this has never happened she blamed the tape they use which never irritates my eye for more than an hour I'm on day 2 now and not even eye drops help. I've been getting eyelash extensions religiously for the past 5 years. Fast forward to 9 months ago when I moved to Concord and had to find a new eyelash place. Let me tell you it was NOT easy.... lots of wasted money on lash sets that fell out after a week or were sparse and barely visible. Then I found Sonya and I haven't looked back. She's super nice, fast, and most importantly, talented. My first appointment was done in 2 hours (this included a full consultation) and I left with some fierce lashes that lasted me until I got my fill 3 weeks later. I just had my 6th appointment with Sonya today and I'm beyond happy. She always asks how my lashes held up and takes the feedback I have. I have been seeing Sonya since December RELIGIOUSLY! I've love the atmosphere here and their new space is very relaxing and welcoming. They have an online appointment system and it's extremely easy to schedule a fill or lash set. I will say that when you walk in, don't assume you'll be walking away with the volumized, full set of lashes from the get go that you see on IG or Pinterest. it does depend on your NATURAL lash line. OKKKKAY I have been waiting to leave this review for so long. SONYA IS AMAZING!! I first went to her in May a day before I was leaving for Hawaii. I had gotten my lashes done for like $300 in Pleasanton at some fancy salon and they fell out the next day. I messaged Sonya and she took me in the next day. I have been HOOKED ever since, like its ridiculous. The lashes are so addicting and she does an amazing job and is so sweet and gorgeous. Her salon is super clean and classy. I told her I was taking a break from lashes for a few months and now I'm going threw withdrawals. My last fill was July 27 ishh and it's now a month later and I still have half of my lashes in... I even started putting regular mascara on them and they haven't fallen out. Not that I advise doing that. You won't regret coming here! I tell everyone about this place. Ok so I have many concerns/important things to point out for any type of potential client sonya may have whether is had to do with her extentions service in general or her classes for Makeup and eyelash extensions. THESE ARE MUST KNOWS BEFORE YOU END UP GETTING SCAMMED and/or treated like crap. To start off, I've had the opportunity to book an appointment a few times in the past year and a half however I am officially NEVER going to bother coming to this place ever again and any NEW customers should really consider looking elsewhere (for example Ginas skincare, beauty queen, beyond beauty are just a few businesses that are AMAZING and even BETTER which are also run by more respectful, experienced and accountable independent owners. She charges more/equal to someone who's been in the same industry for 10 years- her level of experience doesn't match with what she charges customers (my lashes looked so subtle and way too soft for my style compared to other classic extentions I've gotten at other places where I can pick and compare the lengths of the lashes I want for NO additional charge. I get that sonya is a busy person, but as a person who runs a business you cannot play favorites when it comes to getting customers. I've been trying to book an appointment recently and I asked about her availability and if they're open on Mondays and she seemed super bothered/ offended with the fact that I didn't know she was closed that day. she also pointed out that her appointment can now be booked online and note that she is only accepting clients until 3:30 pm latest which basically eliminates and potential customers like myself who work morning/afternoon shifts. Also, that new system is a pain in the ass since you have to put a credit card on file in case you cancel so she can charge you like 50% of whatever service you booked. Every time I book an appointment she seems so bothered like as if she doesn't have time to give me one time Extentions since I wasn't a usual customer back then. She seems to care more about her weekly clients, those who come in ever 1-3 weeks for fills. I've tried getting a fill once from her and she totally scammed me so I never went back again. I went back for a fill after just 2 weeks of getting my extensions and after she "checked" her agenda/calendar in front of me she claimed that it had been 3 weeks since my last appointment and I've never been more confused. I had to check my messages with her again in order to remember the exact day I had my last appointment with her and I was right about it being only 2 weeks since that day. I later confronted her and awkwardly got a refund. If you're planning on getting extentions for a special occasion, I advise you to look elsewhere. I asked her if there was any way I can come in in the evening since I work every day at the same time and she didn't even bother to respond to my text message. A few hours later she made a few posts on her Instagram with clients pictures and even an ad for people who were interested in learning how to do extentions. I was furious that she found time to promote herself but didn't have time to answer back to a customer. **On another note, as someone who is super into the beauty industry please be aware that if you are interested in taking her eyelash extension classes this is SUPER sketchy because most/ ALL people that give extentions have to be estheticians or cosmetologists just to apply to a program like that!!! It seems to me like she's taking advantage of those who actually want to learn but don't even know the requirements to be legit... she just wants to make a quick buck and her classes are super overpriced and may provide you with FAKE certifications!!!! And don't get me started on the makeup programs/classes she provides!!! Please note that you DONT have to have a certificate or any type of license in order to do makeup professionally on clients. I know of extremely famous makeup artists that charge way less than what she charges for something that isn't worth it. Please make the most of your money, people!!!!! Don't put yourself in the position to be SCAMMED! There are different businesses and programs that can get you what you want the right and LEGIT way just make sure to do your research!!! you're welcome :) read more

Sonya takes such great care of your comfort, has great attention to detail and the quality of service is awesome.
