I came to find Camille on Groupon, which is often hit or miss. I was nervous because its your EYES, if someone does it wrong it can be terrible and you can end up injured, but her Yelp reviews were good so I took a leap of faith. Booking was super comprehensive and easy using her website. Upon arrival she uses a room inside of a salon, so you enter directly into a hairstylist's space and go all the way down the hall. Thankfully there was a stylist there working on a client to direct me! Camille was warm and welcoming immediately. Her space is super clean and comforting and tastefully appointed. She has a wedge cushion for under your legs during the service which was such a nice touch, because if you've never laid flat and perfectly still for almost 2 hours while getting this service, you'll come to find out that it can get pretty uncomfortable. She did a quick consult on what look I wanted and even checked if I had photos of inspo, which was nice as I've had other artists who were almost offended by inspo photos. I felt like she perfectly understood my goal and we got to work. We ended up chatting easily the whole time and I came to love her by the end of the service! She is easy to talk to, genuine, and actually interested in conversation. She is adept at reading the room to assess what vibe you need during your service; do you need a therapist, a friend, or just to lay there and listen to a podcast without chatting? I got my lashes lifted on Sunday 9/17 & was super excited for the outcome. The shop is very welcoming, chic, and clean! Camille was extremely patient and made sure to walk me through the process so I would know exactly what was going on during the service. I've been doing individual lashes for about 5 years now but my lash artist ended up closing her business due to Covid. I recently went to get my last placed by Camille. I mention to camille that this is not the first time I've done lashes. I stop placing lashes due to Covid. When I sent her a message that the lashes she place 3/4 almost fell off for not even a week. When I asked what can she do, I felt she make up excuses that maybe I'm using oily face cleanser or I'm having fall shedding factor or I was in humid place which is not even left my vacation yet. Camille mention that my own lashes are healthy prior placing those classic lash. I wouldn't recommend this place. Take your service somewhere and you will be much happier to the other artist to have your lashes professionally done. Btw, the classic lashes I got from Camille was below average work.
