Yes, my lashes look GREAT, but more importantly, I don't feel them AT ALL! I forget that I even have extensions. No burning, no stickiness, and minimal fallout (I only lost 1, and that's normal). OMGoodness! My lashes are amazing, thanks to Cassie! Three years ago I developed a reaction to my mascara and could no longer use it, ugh! I tried all the best products, same terrible results.... Cassie is BY FAR, the BEST esthetician I've EVER been seen by! Why, you ask? It may be easier to list it, please see below. 1. I'll cut to the chase - May I remind you she also works at the nearby Ritz. So you're getting RITZ-CARLTON services at Cassie's pricing! Which, may I also remind you, is 3-4 TIMES higher than her rates! (That's like getting your Mercedes serviced by Deutschland Mercedes-trained experts at a fraction of the cost INSTEAD of being charged $457 to replace a blinker light and add coolant [true story]). 2. Most estheticians have an uptight, "yeah, okay", *rolls eyes* demeanor - NOT CASSIE. She is so extremely friendly and personable and funny... the list goes on. She will crack jokes and laugh at yours at the same time, while providing important facts... which leads me to my next point. 3. Her extensive knowledge on your skin and what products to use is so, so *very* useful. It's like a service you'd be willing to pay à la carte for, but it's already included! She knows I love organic, but more importantly CRUELTY FREE. She was bustin' knowledge like a cuter version of Busta Rhymes. The girl knows her stuff. 4. She was playing the songs I was listening to in the car (bunch of oldies), as well as some Amy Winehouse! Wut!!?? I died and went to heaven. I half joked she could kill me at that moment, and I'd be super OK with it. 5. She is extremely mindful of you, your comfort level, and overall level of happiness. Honesty I've never truly felt this way with any other esthetician - even just simply them being mindful of my comfort level when that's their job... - and Cassie does an excellent execution. 6. The custom facial is INCREDIBLE. THE EXTRACTIONS - it was like, S&M/50 Shades of Gray-good. IT WAS INTENSE, NEEDED, and HEAVENLY. You feel great after. I pretty much played 21 Questions with her (for those that don't know, it's a game where you just basically ask hella questions like an interview) and asked her if she gets grossed out with her clients and with extractions. She says no, and I believe her as I was happy to find out she gets the same feeling of exhilaration and accomplishment as her clients get (if we were to do this ourselves), also adding the more she extracts, the better it feels. SEE, I believe that!! That's justification her work is doing WERK. 7. On The Lola (lash perm) - this was extremely fun and not unlike how Cassie cautioned (that it would sting). The light tingling is normal (I have contacts if that's helpful). I would much rather do this on a regular basis rather than lash extensions/lash fills as the latter makes me look silly when it sheds/is time for a fill (it's the awkward stage where I look like Lisa Vanderpump's dog from RHBH - the dog has a skin condition)! The Lola is also a smarter option as the price is great compared to extensions. 8. Extended from my second point... I was late to my back-to-back appointments (Lola and Organic Custom Facial). Cassie is SO UNDERSTANDING and only requires 50% for last minute cancelations so she pretty much managed to give me a super-custom facial with the Lola built-in, as due to my timing, she was forced to mesh them all into one service. Thankful for this woman, I think the heck-YES!!!!! I miss her already. This time I won't be late. Or *so* late. In the end, I suffer because I'm left wanting more of Cassie's fancy handiwork. Thank you Cassie for existing, and doing magic on my otherwise unsightly mug! Cassie is amazing! In addition to being a fabulous lash artist, she is so nice and sweet and easy to talk to - my time with her flies by! I see her for the Lola lash lift which I am OBSESSED with. The whole process takes about an hour and I'm always happy with the results. My lift lasts for about 6-8 weeks, and I'm frequently asked if I have lash extensions. I proudly say, nope those are my real lashes! The lash lift really opens up my eyes and looks even better with mascara. And I love I don't have to use a painful lash curler that pinches my lashes and eyelids anymore. Win win. I've gotten lash extensions from her as well, which also look beautiful, but it's a little high maintenance for me to do regularly, so I opt for the Lola and do extensions for special occasions. I just got home from an appointment with Cassie and immediately had to write a review. She's amazing. I went to Cassie in the first place because I had to have a bad lash job removed. I didn't think I would get lashes again because my first experience was so bad. I used a Groupon for lash extensions that my cousin gave me and I got the $50 experience that she paid. It was terrible, uncomfortable and the look after looked like I got $50 lash extensions. She was so nice and knowledgable during the removal that I thought I'd book a real lash extension appointment with her. After she removed the lashes, she did a test of 3 lashes on each eye to see if there was a reaction to the glue which I like a lot since the eye area is so sensitive.
