I have been getting my lashes done here for the past few months. -- Sallie who is no longer with the company did my lashes, she always did such a great job. I never had complaints. I kind of knew she was too good to be true. Lol I have been reluctant to book an appointment since Sallie is no longer there especially because a friend of mine told me no one else does that great of a job, and she's experienced her lashes coming off, I went anyway. I booked a 7pm appointment on a Wednesday. When I walked in I literally stood there for a few minutes before anyone greeted me. Once we started on my lashes (15 mins after the scheduled time) the tech did not make conversation with me. There was no music playing. Just awkward silence. Quin, another lady across the way and a young guy all joked and laughed the entire time. The guy brought Instagram videos over to Quin while doing my lashes, she'd stop doing my lashes to watch, which I thought was extremely unprofessional. It has not even been 1 week and my fresh set of lashes have fallen off. I have taken care of them the same way I did the lashes Sallie would put on. I am disappointed, and will no longer do business with Lashes101. For the price they charge my experience and lash results is unacceptable. read more

Nikki kindly went over the different lashes. Time frame that was given to me was 1hour- 1 1/2 and she was accurate about the time. Lashes 101 has been doing my lashes for almost 2 years now, I don't usually write reviews, because honestly who has the time ... but I love this place so much I made an exception! People are always asking me where I get my lashes done because they look so great! I've referred countless friends and strangers to go here! I highly recommend going here. I have a standing appointment every other Sunday and I would not know what to do without this place! After reading through the comments others have made about glue burn, Instagram videos, lack of conversation and uncleanliness... I have to say they sound like people looking to complain to get free stuff, and would warn you to be cautious of listening to angry people reviews. Because in this case you'd be missing out on the best lashes ever! If you open your eyes before it's dry, the glue will burn, which they tell you, and they didn't make the glue it literally would happen anywhere you went. Follow directions, wait under the fan for 2 minutes and you'll be fine ! The ladies here at lashes 101 in my experience have been nice, obviously some are not huge on conversation, but I don't think that judging peoples personality should factor into a lash review. Frankly there are times I sleep the whole 45 minutes, and don't mind the silence! The owner is very nice and super helpful, anytime I've needed to make a change in time or had a lash emergency, she has always responded quickly and helped me out! She does my lashes and takes them just as seriously as I do! She is not one of the quiet ones, and I have no complaints of lack of talking when it comes to her! My appointments include beautiful eyelashes and great convos! This kind relationship is possible because I'm not a B and I'm nice to her, so she reciprocates... I have a feeling some of these reviews come from some not nice people that are far too sassy to let these ladies kindness even be noticed! Bad experience. The lash stylist I had did a rush job both times I was there. You can sense that the staff is talking and making fun of you. Treat your customers better, take time and do a good job and dont talk to each other during the whole process of getting lashes done. Worst place ever to walk through in history of customer service. The lady was friendly however not experienced and literally my eye burned through the glue the whole hour She told me 2X pain is beauty Let me tell you this is my first eye lash extension so I didn't know what to expect. I'll share pictures today is the 4th day and my eye is still swollen I've lost work because I look like I have pink eye. I waited two days to see if it would go away but the pain was so unbearable I cried for 2 days hoping the tear ducts would clean it out naturally. Day 3 I went in and showed them they said don't worry it only takes 2 days to clear. No this is now day 4. They wouldn't refund me even tho they took their product back. Today I called again and the manager called me back telling me 50% refund. I lost money from work all I want is my full refund. On Sunday August 16, 2020, I made an appointment at Lashes 101. I spoke with a male on the phone and asked if they had the style J lashes. I was told that they did have J lashes. I then confirmed my appointment for 4:00 pm. I received a text confirming my appointment that also included details regarding lash prices. Hidden in the lash prices and instructions was a requirement that I pay a 20% gratuity. At no time during the conversation over the phone when I was making the appointment did he mention this fact to me. So in essence, after I make the appointment Lashes 101 attempted to pull a fast one on me. I never saw this detail because I believed I was just confirming what had previously been discussed over the phone. At 3:30 when I was on my way to my appointment, I received a text indicating that the lash technician was running behind schedule and to please come at 4:15 pm. At 4:00 pm I revived a second update requesting that I come at 4:30 because the lash technician Julie was running behind schedule. I agreed to all of this even though I believed that this was extremely unprofessional. When I arrived Kim who was actual my lash technician and not Julie was not ready for me. I arrived on time at 4:30. At 4:45 I asked Kim who was still working on another client if she was going to be ready shortly. At 4:50, Kim advised me that they only had a size 14 in the J style lash. This is a fact that the previous gentleman left out of our conversation. I finally had to agree that they mix the lashes because they did not have the appropriate length in the J style. Kim started my lashes at 5:00 pm. Remember my original appointment was at 4:00 pm. I also asked Kim to wax my eyebrows. My lashes came out looking like spiders crawling on my eyes. One eye has a huge spider and the other eye has a medium size spider. My left eye had lashes missing and no style what so ever. My right eye's lashes made me look like I have a lazy eye. This is the worst lash job ever. My eyebrows look just like they appeared when I walked in the door........a mess. When I saw the end result of my lashes and my eyebrows, to add insult to injury........that is when I was reminded that I owed $16 gratuity because of the hidden 20% gratuity fee. How ridiculous!!!!!!! You start my appointment one hour late, make my lashes look a hot mess and do nothing with my eyebrows and I owe a 20% tip?!?!?!?!?!?? I gave a $10 tip just to be somewhat decent even though no tip was deserved. Kim gets upset because I would not give any additional tip. If I had been told upfront about the gratuity, I never would have gone. This place does not install lashes well and does a horrible job waxing eyebrows. Anytime you feel like you have to illegally mandate a tip, something is wrong. Stay away from this location. I know Kim will attempt to make excuses for her work but this was the end result of her work. On top of everything, my lashes are falling out by the minutes. read more

I came here for a new set of eyelash extensions. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my eyelashes but she took off my old eyelashes and put on new ones cause I didn't have much left. She wanted to start brand new which I didn't mind. She really didn't talk as much which was fine by me but she didn't take about an hour or so to fill my eyelashes. It took her about 50 minutes and I should of known that it wasn't going to last. After the second or third day my eyelashes started coming off and they just didn't last the whole 2 weeks. They also felt really plastic. I don't know if it was because my previous extensions were mink but I didn't like the feel of it especially since it was hurting my eyes from how hard and plastic it felt. I will not be returning here again because I don't want to pay over $100 for eyelash extensions for quality that wasn't there. read more

They are open late so I am able to go after work if needed. 3. I have been to other places where my lashes would fall out after a couple days later. At lashes 101 my lashes last. I get a fill every 28 days. Even on the 28th day they are still pretty good. 4. They accept venmo, which is super convenient. Only downside, I wish it was slightly cheaper to get a fill. $70 after 28 days? It is on the pricier side for a fill, but I guess that's the price I pay for convenience. read more

My first few times were good!! until I got booked with what seemed to me as a newbie. Took 1 1/2 hours for a two week fill which majority came out within 3 days. I had an appointment for Eyelashes a couple days ago and as soon as I walked in I noticed the girl that was going to be doing my eyelashes had very long acrylic nails (about 2 inches long). I figured if she was allowed to come to work like that then she can probably do the job right....Unfortunately she couldn't even open the permanent glue bottle without struggling due to her nails AND she spilled the glue all over my eyebrows, hair and face. The lady tried to say it was ok but it wasn't- as she tried to remove this glue off she removed strains of my hair and left my eyebrows with patches. This has been a very horrible experience. As I complained to the manager all he could say was Thank you for not making a big scene infront of his customers. Pretty sad that was all he was worried about.
