I had been thinking about getting microblading for a while. I normally don't wear makeup, just the…read morenormal lipstick/lipgloss, and sometimes mascara, eyeliner, and fake eyelashes. Therefore, I wanted something natural. Vanessa was very nice and approachable. She answered all the questions I had. Even after the process, whenever I have a question, just texted her, and she will get back to me. Definitely put a girl at ease especially for a first timer getting microblading. Haha The environment is pretty safe. You and her will both require to wear a mask. You will need to wash your hands once your arrived. Definitely COVID precautions enforce. The process of the microblading doesn't hurt. She put anesthesia (numbing cream) on my brows. You will hear sounds from the machine, but no pain. If you ever need more anesthesia, just let her know. The procedure took about 2-3 hours. Very relaxing environment with relaxing music on, so less worry/anxiety. She also gives you a after care package. Make sure to save it for your touch up as well. I did microshading/combo brows with Vanessa, and I am in love with my new and improved brows! I was a microblading/microshading skeptic at first. I already have fairly dark brows (though I still pencil them in every day for years), so I wasn't compelled to get it done; but when my sister got microbladed by Vanessa, her brows looked amazing and she kept recommending Brow Vida to me! When I finally decided to go for it, Vanessa walked me through every step of the way and answered all the questions I had. I showed her photos of my brows first and she recommended the "combo" to me which is microshading with microbladed strokes towards the front. Since I wanted my brows to still look pretty natural and similar to how I draw them every day, she listened to my preferences carefully and assured me that I will get the look that I want. She started by mapping my brows meticulously, making sure I like the shape and everything. She was clear every step of the way, making sure I understood what she's doing. The whole appointment was about 3-4 hours, so I also appreciate her checking in on me throughout the whole process to see if I'm comfortable. During one of my visits, I experienced a situation where an employee was speaking about me in another language, and it made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. Based on the interaction, I felt that I was being treated differently, and I believed there may have been racial bias involved. I brought my concerns to the owner, hoping to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was told that I was no longer welcome at the business because I had missed an appointment. That missed appointment occurred while my grandmother was hospitalized, and I believe the circumstances were not taken into consideration. The owner also told me that the staff had held a meeting about me, which made the situation even more upsetting. After my experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business, and I wanted to share what happened so others can make their own informed decisions before choosing to go I also want to mention that a similar situation happened to my friend, who is also a person of color. Based on both of our experiences, I believe there is a pattern in how customers of color are treated. Dora was also very rude and unprofessional throughout these interactions. My father is an attorney, and he will be taking legal action regarding my experience with this business. My friends are also looking for new lash techs and will no longer support business . They just lost a lot of customers The owner reached out and is still not taking accountability. I told them that I had an issue and they never acknowledged the discrimination that I faced. Second of all I've sent many customers there and I've always been on time during the grace period . So don't make an excuse as if that's the problem. Third of all, I've only gone to Chelsea and only liked Chelsea so they could've continued to book me with her instead discredit my feelings and told me that I wasn't welcome because I brought an issue to them now they want to respond because they know that they are wrong and again we will be taking legal matters. Also, now I have proof that you just told somebody that they said that they were discriminated and not to make that as an excuse that's worse on you. I also reached out to the business several times trying to resolve it through text and they blocked me and never Responded, They're only acknowledging me because it makes their business look bad me and me and Chelsea never had issues. She would even talk to me about her kids schooling troubles, so you're making up excuses. That was a troubling experience however I have found a salon, more professional, and the quality is way better than Moon Lash. Please take your money somewhere else. They do not acknowledge you and it is not worth it. When I shared my experience, they couldn't believe that happened. They have never had to tell a customer because of a complaint. They are no longer welcome.

Super easy to request an appointment online through their website. The place is very clean and everybody is nice. My eyes are never overly red afterwards and I can put my contacts in right after which seems healthier for the eyes. Usually in other places my eyes are killing me for days. They are skilled with asian eyes and lashes in my opinion they know how to map for the best results and get to all the lashes. I have had other techs struggle with my lashes in the past and do a not flattering style. I will keep coming here.
