It says "Ooh La Lash" on the front door but anyway, I originally went to Thanh and she was able to fix the clumpy gluey mess a different salon made on my lashes & I didn't even lose lashes it seems, so that immediately showed me what caliber the quality is here. I kept going back. Thanh asked me if I wanted to try Tiffany (her daughter) & I agreed. I'm glad I did! It seems like this whole family is quite talented at this. I feel confident that if I had to use the other girl there (Tanya?) she'd likely be great too since all her clients seem to love her as well. They use the NovaLash technique which is my favorite (you don't even feel the lashes!) Parking /Time tip: try arriving at least 5-10 minutes early so that you can find parking, it's pretty busy there & you may need the few extra minutes. Sometimes the techs may run over a few minutes but its usually minimal & they are basically making sure the clients look good before finishing (which they will do for you too!) it's always worth it! Appointments: Tiffany is great at communication so any appt. setting is probably a non-issue by now. I do recommend setting up your next appt. before you leave anyway, it saves time and hassle for both parties. I refer everyone I know to them & they always love them. I've never heard a complaint. I don't know why people are having such bad luck with making appointments, every time I come in town I have had no issues getting ahold of Thanh for an appointment. I've gotten my lashes done multiple times at the Hillcrest location and now today for the first time had then done at Thanh's house. I'm sure a lot of people are hesitant to get this service done in someone's home, but she has everything set up professionally.. Just like at the shop. She even has a privacy screen blocking the table from the rest of the house, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. In fact, it's even better because there's no trouble parking! The one star isn't for the eyelashes, it's for the attempts (oh so so so many) to try and get an appointment. At first, Thahn seems great. Then she doesn't text you back. Or she texts you a confirmed time ...yet forgets to write it down so you show up and the place is closed. Then you call (over and over) and get no response for a few hours until plenty of "I'm sorry" comes your way. It's honestly like she likes a first or second time customer, but is awful at setting up times to try and get appointments. Then you get stuck with having to do a full set all over again instead of a fill. It's really annoying and it doesn't make any sense. Also, when I first went to her, I recommended her to two friends - embarrassing mistake. She didn't bother to text either of them back to set appointments ... So don't recommend her to friends you like. Seriously, what's the point of getting good eyelashes if you can't ever get them!?!?! read more

Although they were overpriced, that's where she worked so that's where I went. Thanh is amazing...she will beautify you whilst napping. I went and had beautiful extensions done there and loved them, I was able to also get a fill the very 1st time I needed one and I had read all the reviews and how difficult it was to get a fill, so with that being said I was pleasantly surprised and excited. It's now been well over 2 months and I still can't get a fill, I've tried week after week to get in but she doesn't work weekends and unless you have day time availability, getting in after work doesn't work either. I have never had lash extensions before but wanted to give them a try as I am getting married this summer and love the idea of not having to wear makeup on my honeymoon. I decided to do a test run this weekend so looked up reviews and this place was a definite stand-out. I made my appt with Thanh and showed up makeup free Saturday morning. After a very brief wait she walked me to the back and set to work. Overall the process was very easy on my end. I did have a little discomfort with the gel pad they place on your lower eye lashes (keeps the glue from causing the upper/lower lashes to stick together) but it was by no means painful and after a while I was able to ignore it. The whole process took a little over an hour and a half but Thanh was very friendly and played good music throughout the process. Once she placed the final eyelash I held a small fan near my face for a couple minutes and she brushed out everything to make sure nothing stuck together. The gel pad was removed and voila - instant dark, long lashes! Getting ready for work this morning was a breeze - I washed my face, put on my face lotion and was done. Great for summer! read more

Tiffany did my lashes before my wedding and I kept it going for several visits. Loved. Her. She is incredibly good, gentle and thorough. I decided to try Ooh-La-Lash because of the reviews on Yelp and I've been going to see Thanh, the owner, ever (since January 2013). I've been to 2 other places and I've been happiest with Thanh. She takes her time and is very thorough. Her work is detailed so you get amazing application. I go about every two weeks and when you see the lashes fall out (as they naturally do), your lash and the faux lash look like one (those of you who get their lashes done know what I mean). Because of her and the lash extensions, I look done up all the time. No more mascara... just long, full lashes. I always get compliments on my lashes. I use her for waxing, too. Thanh is the GREATEST!!!! I first starting getting my lashes done at Lash Studio by Shannon but after a horrible and unprofessional experience with her I vowed not to ever go there again. Thank Heaven I found Annette! I've been wanting lashes but they are so expensive so I found a groupon. I'm a RN so hygiene is extremely important to me. I looked at a few other locations and didn't like cleanliness and rudeness. I found this place on groupon and yelped them. I saw such wonderful reviews. Annette did my lashes and she was awesome. She answered all my questions about her credentials, hygiene, and sanitation without issue. Her area was clean and she was very polite. She's not fake either, she is genuinely a nice lady. She had no problems with me listening to my music even though I didn't have headphones. Her work is amazing! I'm super super picky and I can't find fault.
