I'm so disappointed in services today. After years of coming I won't be returning. My pedicure is horrible. Uneven and not smooth. My nails are awful shaped with uneven dip. I asked for a particular design multiples times, in fact similar to what the nail tech had, and she said she would only do one nail. And then after I said I didn't like the single nail design still didn't do the matte coat I asked for 3 times prior. I pay for everything I ask for and expect nothing for free. The laziness and lack of care after spending hundreds a month here is disgusting and you lost a client. I will be sharing my experience w my friends as well who also come here and I will encourage them to seek services elsewhere. I also didn't receive the birthday discount I showed her from the text that YOU sent me. I also had to wait 45 minutes between services while new clients were being serviced before me. I lovr this place and as a result, have stayed loyal since they opened. The consistency, quality of work and customer service is terrific. The techs are friendly and they always fix my nails free of charge, should I accidentally mess them up. I love their ample selection of O.P.I. polish, and the wait is usually not that bad. I really appreciate that they stay on the cutting edge of polish techniques, because I know that I'll be the first to know about the new applications. Some of the pedicures can be pricy, but totally worth it for what they offer. I highly recommend the Signature Pedi because it comes with a wonderful hot stone massage, paraffin and massage. I have just sat in the cashier and have had this lovely scrub, a cooling menthol mask after that and hot towels on top with a massage. And the hot stones are still to come! I went in on my bday called ahead of time & set an appointment "Lyle" which who I believe is in charge had an attitude the entire time because she had to stop doing her own nails to service me. Went in for an overlay and they actually recommended that I get an ombre, because it "would look better" than what I wanted. Cut my nails too short, all different lengths and shapes. This is the saddest excuse for an ombre I have ever seen. There are bubbles and hairs and jagged edges and my nail beds are completely sore. Some parts aren't even painted. I asked for a matte top coat and they gave me gloss. He messed up soon many times and went back so often that I was there for over 2 hours. I paid before my nails were painted and they gave me my tip back and wouldnt refund any of my money. This is $37 here. It actually looks WORSE than it did when I went in, which was 3 weeks grown out. My nail tech was kind and great during the massage portion of the pedi, but this is easily the worst mani/pedi I've ever had which is very disappointing since the services came out to $60 before tip. The file was uneven and the nail polish was very sloppily applied. It's less than 24 hours later now and one nail has completely broken off (they were very healthy and strong before) while several other fingernails have already begun to chip. Didn't love the selection of colors as well because they all look extremely old and like they've expired. I should've gone with my gut from the beginning and left the salon after seeing the poor quality. For reference, I've been here 3 times now to give it a fair chance (twice for eyebrow waxing, once for nails) and each time has gotten significantly worse. Excellent nail salons are very hard to come by. I must say that I LOVED my experience here. I am first impressed with the fact that they are open on Sundays til 5. Splurged and tried the Classic Pedi, which was TO DIE FOR: hot stone massage, sugar scrub, gel massage, hot towel wraps, etc. It's honestly gonna be hard to get the reg pedi after that. Yes. 1000x YES to Lashe! I go in once a month to pamper myself for a nice deluxe pedicure. The location is awesome: right on Canal, a little up from Carrollton. Ample parking in the back. If you're nice, they'll let you drink booze while they do your nails (don't judge, it was a birthday thing)! The throne-like massage chairs are probably worth the cost of the pedi alone. They have this magical rump massager that makes all my stress melt away. Halfway through the pedi, the tech will ask if you want the deluxe. SAY YES. The deluxe includes an amazing deep tissue massage, HOT towels and a cooling leg mask (it sounds weird, but I am in love with it) that seriously makes my skin look better. I had a mani here once, and was satisfied with the tech's job. I trash my nails like it's my job, so I can't really judge longevity. They looked pretty before I decided to change my scooter tire! There are TONS of colors to choose from, which makes me really happy. Not much OPI, as many other reviewers have stated, but ESSIE; the makers of *THE BEST POLISHES EVER*. My tech usually will layer on different shimmery/glittery polishes if I ask nicely as well! There are a multitude of other services offered: waxing, facials and all those nails that scare me (gel, acrylic, etc). Their waxing room appears to be nice and clean, so I am going to book an eyebrow-destroying session soon. PRO TIP: They have soft drinks, wine, and water in the back. They also even has gLass nails here. This place always seems to be extra packed and booked,so I was surprised that I was able to waLk in and get treated within 15 minutes. The ladies are nice . They offer good advice on when to stay up on your refills and what new colors opi has . I was also offered a drink. I gladly accepted my wine and enjoyed my expensive mani and pedi. Lol! I had got a full set with white french tips and I love them. My feet was pretty basic as compared to my fingernails. I love my full set. By far, one of the most precise and detail-oriented nail techs I have ever come across. Plus, she's sweet as pie. I feel like she reads my mind with regard to nail shaping. And she does a beautiful job with every service I've tried: full set, gel polish on natural nails, designs, dip powder on acrylic AND natural nails...I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but hopefully you get the point. I'm not saying other techs here aren't good...I've seen beautiful work all around. But, I'm just a believer in sticking with what works for me. Nice they offer free bottled water or wine while you get pampered. One thing: the hot stones are always too hot for hot stone massage! I get a pedicure monthly, and am always happy with the service. I have tried other salons and none can compare in the area. The new Massage chairs are amazing, there is a huge selection of colors (and matching gels), the staff know their stuff, and the owners are always attentive to the experience. When the owners are not on site, the staff are disruptive, listening to songs and videos on their phone, above the music in the salon, and aren't attentive to the customer experience. I expect to be able to relax during my pedicure, and not have to struggle to do so. That's my only complaint! read more

Keeps up with the latest trends and the latest nail colors. Ms. Van is amazing with brow maintenance. She also does amazing alterations. I live in Texas but I wait until I come home (Nola) for visits to get my nails done or my brows waxed. I've had horrible service in Texas, at a variety of shops.
