I wanted to love it! I was excited to see this salon when moving to Lakeview & have been been frequenting it the past few months. The staff is super nice & its 5 minutes from my house however they charge significantly more than other salons. I expected the higher prices being in Lakeview but unfortunately, I often leave the salon feeling like I'm just paying extra for the convenience and not quality. Today was probably my last appt with them. My nail tech was very nice but I'm so disappointed with my nails... I paid $69 (not including tip) for dip nails + manicure. I noticed my left thumb was sooo much longer than my right & looked bad so I asked her to file it down. She did some at the end but I still needed to file it down A LOT at home. I'm used to nail techs asking me if I'm happy with the shape/length when filing, which she didn't do so I didn't notice how much I didn't like them until the end. It normally isn't this bad but I've only walked out once truly feeling like I got a GREAT service. Will try one more Lakeview nail salon before I resort to driving to my old metairie salon for better prices/quality :(

I have super short nails and always used to get acrylics because it's hard to do a good manicure on short nails. But Ann at I'Land was amazing and did such a detailed and amazing job. My French manicure is meticulous and I'll definitely be back. The spa is super cute inside and very clean. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a high-quality manicure from friendly and talented staff!!

this place is okay and the overall appearance of the salon is nice. some of the ladies are nicer than others and i feel like it's really expensive when i could spend another $10-20 and get way more done. by that i mean i went today and spent $88 plus $5 tip on acrylics with three lines. they also seem to be limited on the designs, which can be frustrating. overall, yes it's nice but you pay lakeview prices for ok nails.

Best cut down and gel ever with a bomb pedi ! Thanks ladies

At first I loved this nail salon but I had to cut ties with them because for one don't come in with long nails, longer than stubs because the manger will treat you as if You are ghetto. She criticized me the whole time she did my nails. I was desperate and went again and bad experience which permanently ended me ever going there again. The manager who did my nails again. She is horrible y'all she messed my polish up, she cut them so uneven. Boogie but not good and bougie ! Save your money and go somewhere else please !!! I beg you

AFTER color correction + balayage done by Vy. You were only charged for product usage for this service ($115), not charged for my time.

Hi Gisele (GS), I apologize that you were not happy with the price. When you received a Balayage hair coloring service from me, you were very pleased and satisfied with your result. We had a thorough consultation. I mentioned to you several times you will need to purchase a violet shampoo & conditioner to maintain color care at home because grey/silver fades quickly. You decided not to purchase it. Before you left the salon with pure joy expressing your thoughts on how a true professional I am, I even wrote down my favorite brands for violet shampoo & conditioner stressing the fact that you need to purchase these else where if not from me. Not even 2 weeks later you messaged me about your color fading into a regular blonde. (Which I had warned you before many times that that will happen if proper care at home is not maintained). I offered to adjust the color free of charge. You came into the salon showing me your hair and I explained again. I believe that you were the one that did not want anymore chemicals in your hair. I offered the violet shampoo & conditioner to you again, and you denied. You asked me instead of adjusting your color if I could do your daughter's hair in exchange. I agreed to that & you will not be charged for my time to keep you happy. You agreed to just pay for your daughter's product usage which was $115. Your daughter texted me that you loved her hair! Not only did I Balayage your daughter's full hair, but I also had to color correct it from the previous stylist who did her hair. I did not charge you for color correction service. You were only charged for product usage of $115. I think receiving 2 hair coloring services + color correction on 2 separate individuals for the price of one is quite inexpensive. Most balayage prices in the NO metro area starts at $250+ for one individual. It is not a comparison for you to compare my price to your friend's salon on St. Charles. It is not right for you to put a negative review on me or the salon. I hope that the next hair dresser you go to will be a great match for you. Good luck! Vy

One of my favorite nail salons in the area! They do a great dip manicure (and those of us that have fallen in love with dip know that this service can often become very inconsistent at other salons) and the staff is always SUPER friendly and efficient. They can serve you best if you make an appointment but they also take walk ins and try to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. I always compare other nail salons to this one and it has been hard pressed to find another place that does better work. They also have a great selection of signature pedicures to choose from with aromatherapy, essential oils, scrubs, and lotions.

Pretty color but...Uneven filing and paint job.

Went here because my friend had a gift certificate and she wanted to use it. Sat down quickly, place Appears nice, but Not very clean if you really look. Ground was pretty dirty, chairs stained. Also, they don't do a good job for $58 +tip mani/pedi. I've given this place quite a few chances. That was the last one. Paint job has been repeatedly sloppy and filing of nails are uneven. Not worth it when there are so many around the area. I should post a picture of paint job which is one of the most unprofessional and sloppiest I've seen in a while. Ladies were nice, but they should take more pride in their work(?) and possibly clean shop a little more. I won't be back.

Danielle, the owner, is an extremely talented esthetician who is friendly, welcoming, and has a magical touch. I love this place so much that every time I've visited New Orleans since moving away, booking a facial with Danielle is the first thing I do after purchasing my flights. The business itself is located on Freret where parking is ample on the main or side streets during most hours. The business is clean, with refreshments offered immediately upon walking in. Personally, I have only received facials but I know from first hand testimony by friends that their massages are just as incredible. The facials are accompanied by a full suite of Yonka products which are deliciously fragrant but gentle on the skin. Danielle is great at finding the perfect combination to make your skin looking the best it ever has by the time your treatment is over. I love this place so much I hand out business cards to anyone who compliments my skin when I'm in town. You absolutely will not regret giving this place a try.

My appointment was scheduled a day before and no specific instructions regarding location or parking was given. Then at 1:00am the morning of the appt I received a confirmation text. (What an ideal time). On the day of the appt, my grandmother and I arrive and there are no signs or anything signaling a 1st time customer they are located in a plaza which clearly you cannot see from the street. A nice lady come to greet us but then I had to find parking. It was soooo HOT!! By the time I arrived in the building I had to freshen up in the bathroom. On the way walking toward the building there is A man with a dog tied to the bench in the breezeway just barking at everyone as they pass. What a scene on the way to serenity. Once I entered the building my 1st service was waiting on me. No paperwork was completed as a 1st time customer and was asked by the person doing the massage what areas I needed done. She was very pleasant and could tell I was FURIOUS with the process. She kept apologizing. THE MASSAGE WAS AMAZING!!!! I would recommend her but I am not toooooo fond of the place. Then the FACIAL!!' Absolutely horrible. I sat in a chair where the lady explained what she would be using. No time was my skin discussed. I clearly was not looking for a simple facial but because I set appointment day before I was not able to really understand what is entailed in each facial. Then the facial begins. When it was over no discussion of my skin and was. Told we will see you up front. Massage 1 hour and facial 30 minutes. Well my grandmother had a manicure. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY SHE WAS STILL DRYING AFTER 1.5hrs. After I paid and added $22.00 tip the cashier (same person who did my facial) says before I can even leave she left $22.00. WOW!!! Are you serious? No one even offered the products in the lobby for sale. After my facial my face was soooo dry it was ridiculous. I was not even asked what type of skin do I have. No type of data sheet done. After leaving there are a group of people sitting on a stump cussing, and arguing in the corridor patio area I was like I just spent $200.00 for this. I will never again. I would not even recommend this place to anyone
