I booked Vanessa for a 75 minute volume fill today, and was coming from another lash salon. Vanessa went through my lashes and pointed out a few that were done incorrectly- fair enough, though I hadn't noticed any pain, swelling or other problems. However she then told me that I would have to get them all removed (a hefty $25) and get a new, full set. Not wanting to go through the hassle of booking and driving to a lash appointment twice, I agreed. Within 5-7 minutes, she had removed all of my previous lashes. Though she never came off rude, I'm left confused as to why she and a coworker spent 10-15 minutes going through and taking photos of my lashes instead of just quickly removing the few bad or outgrown ones, and continuing with a fill. To her credit Vanessa did try to fill in a few volume lashes even though I only paid for a classic set. But it seems that if your lash extensions are even slightly messed up, you may find yourself paying and sitting for a full set instead of having them fix your lashes up during a fill. read more

Really bad service. Tavia was not friendly at all, and very arrogant. I booked a volumn fill, but apparently needed all my lashes taken off due to a previous bad job. Although I disagree and felt sold that she wanted to just do it her way with her lashes, that's not what the review was about. I wanted a full set of lashes for the holidays. I wish she would've asked me if I wanted all my lashes taken off, especially since she told me we didn't have time to do a fill. She never asked me the look I wanted, if I'd like to proceed since I need basically need a new full set and we didn't have time for that. Nothing was a question about what I wanted. It was what she wanted to do to my lashes the whole time. Then when I'd ask a question it was always a condescending tone. If we didn't have time to actually fill my lashes, and only had time to take them all off and book at a later date to replace them, don't you think you should tell or ASK me that? Maybe ask if my schedule before the holidays allowed for that? Just amateur. Crappy attitude and bad communication. I won't go back and make sure everyone knows to not go here. The whole vibe there was cold. So I left in the middle of the service so I'd still have some lashes for Thanksgiving, otherwise I'd have 0 lashes and no time to book anything until after Thanksgiving. I'm so mad I could cry. They give me the exact look that I want while keeping the health of my natural lashes in mind. The staff are friendly. My lashes lasted only a week but worse - the glue reacted to my eyelid. After a second test round, I called them over 10 times and left 4 or 5 messages to get the lashes and the glue off. No response and no one answering calls. I could live with this annoyance but I'm getting married in a week and would prefer the swelling go down. They know this. Yet, they don't want to $et an appointment. I cannot say enough about Lash Theory and the lovely ladies who work here. I thought maybe it was a weird time in my shedding cycle and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I tried a different stylist the second time and again only lasted a week. I have been going to Lash Theory since it opened and now have been going to Thavy for almost 5 years! Thavy has been been my girl since day one and I am so happy I found someone like her to do my lashes. Clearly if I followed her to her own business she does a good job! She goes beyond expectations and always caters to my needs. Since I have started going there I always feel listened too and taken care of. Whenever I need to get in she helps me. Sometimes I need it extra full for an event or I just am psycho and think it is necessary (usually it's not and it's all in my head haha). Even then she doesn't give me a hard time, which I appreciate. If she can't fit me in for whatever reason Vanessa always jumps in to save the day. She also does an amazing job and makes my eyelashes look long and fluffy! Time flies by when I get my eyelashes done at Lash Theory! It's honestly like hanging with your friends always chatting about something silly and full of laugh. They always do such a great job with your lashes, I always leave feeling lash pretty! They will also be your person therapists and comedians for the time spent there. However if your not feeling like chatting you can relax and they will feel that vibe. I had my first lash extension experience yesterday with Thavy, and I just have to say that I AM IN LOVE!! Not with her, we're still getting to know each other (lol), but my lashes look amazing. Thavy was amazing with explaining the process to me, what to expect, and took the time to listen to what I was looking for. I came into my appointment not really knowing what I wanted, but Thavy helped talk me through my options and made me feel super comfortable. Not only was the ambiance in the business super nice and comfortable, the girls who worked in there made my appointment so fun by engaging in conversation, laughing, and having a good time which is really helpful in making the time go by when you're having to lay there and be still. Go see Vanessa!!! Her work is so, so amazing that I'm booking my appointments with her for the rest of the year I left with beautiful, full, dark volume lashes. Went here twice. The space itself is cute and I loved their online booking and payment service. Michelle did a full set of lashes for me the first time on Nov 1. She did a great job, personable and I walked out a happy customer. The second time on Nov 12, Thavy did a lash fill for me and my experience was terrible. She rubbed me the wrong way in everything she said including bashing Amazon as a company and employer (based on a Netflix show she watched) and the even neighborhood I live in. On top of a bad experience, she wasn't able to complete both eyes in time and left me with uneven lash distribution which made my eyes look like different shapes. Weird considering they take so much pride in their work. I called back that evening and requested for Michelle to fix this the next day free of charge in which they agreed to so I will give them that. However, both times the lashes only lasted me between a week or so (7-10 days max) before they were very sparse, uneven or both, and needed a fill. I am gentle with my lashes, brush them and have great home care but was blamed for my retention issues anyway. Never once did they take the feedback to examine their own adhesives or techniques which I didn't appreciate. I was only told I needed to book a 90-min fill service ($85) instead of the 60 min that I booked ($65). All this seems like a crazy amount of money to spend, especially on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. This is not financially attainable for me which is why I won't be going back. read more

I came to Lash Theory after feeling a bit unsure about another lash service. The crew here is super knowledgeable and cares so much about their clients and their process. I worked with Thavy and she patiently took the time to explain everything she was doing during or first session together. She also took the time to chat with me during each session about my lashes until we found just the right extensions for my eyes. I have worked with several lash extension specialists and can honestly say that this place is the best. Each summer I take a break from lashes and I feel that the condition of my natural lashes tells a lot after removal. After removing my lashes this last time I can say that they have never been healthier- they are exactly the same as prior to my extensions- no breakage- no length changes- just my lashes.
