Ouch! And it took four appts one month apart to remove most of the old tattoo ink. Finally I was ready to see Cecelia. She drew my brows, showed me and micro bladed them, and it was perfection!!!! I told her my skin is oily and she suggested a dry heal. 7 days later my brows started to peel. I expected it because she handed me a brochure of what to expect. I went back for my second appt per her protocol three weeks after my first appt. She again numbed my brows and added more ink and continued to shape them. Two layers of ink, little pain, and it looks fabulous!!! I know I'll peel again and I'll need yearly touch ups, but she's amazing!!!!!

She was so booked months out that it was almost impossible to find an appointment that worked with my schedule. I tried about 5 other lash artist in Bellevue until I found Hien. I'm so happy that Hien has a cute little studio a few blocks from my apartment. She is seriously amazing and a perfectionist at lashes. I book 45min fills every 2 weeks since my hair/lashes grow so fast and sometimes she even extends my session longer at no extra charge to make sure they're perfect. I receive compliments almost daily on my lashes and even when they fall out, they fall out so evenly. My volume sets just looks like classics in 2 weeks. I've been going to Hien for about a year and now a bunch of my girlfriends are now clients of hers. Although this was my first lash extension session and I was a new customer, and others were already getting their lashes done, the stylist may have stayed quiet to avoid disturbing them. Still, I'm a paying customer and wanted a little more of an inquisitive treatment, especially considering the high price. I tried to explain why I was there and felt that my interactions were kind of short with my stylist. Maybe I was looking to connect more, and it was kind of brushed off. I went with the master stylist, Serena Zhou, so paid more of a premium, I got the Styling Lash Fullset (S01-S08) + Bottom Lash(as an add-on service), with tip I paid closer to $400. All in all, I did love my lashes! However, by days 5-7, a few of my lashes had already started falling off, and my bridal makeup artist added more lashes on the day of my wedding, 6 days after my session with Clement Lash, to refresh and add fullness. As I explained earlier, if I had connected with the stylist more, we could have added fullness, since I wanted the lashes for my bridal look. We didn't even broach the subject actually, and she didn't seem interested, lol. Overall, I gave a 4-star review because of the vibe of this place, the high-quality lash and glue they use, plus the careful application taken. My stylist was extremely gentle, almost too gentle, I was falling asleep because I was so relaxed. The atmosphere feels like a high-end spa, and you can tell they carefully curated their salon at every nook and cranny, down to the basket you can place your things in when receiving your service. I was so impressed by how luxe the experience was and how well decorated the salon was--loved the marble, even the bathroom gave high-end. I would honestly be back if another occasion calls for a nearly $400 lash extension service. Otherwise, I'm mostly doing my own lashes at home for a tiny fraction of the price. If you want to treat yourself or you're a soon-to-be bride like I was, I still wouldn't hesitate to pay Clement Lash a visit. It was a good self-love, me-time experience. Treat yourself.

I had recently moved and was looking for a new lash artist I could see consistently and build a long-term professional relationship with. Before booking, I reviewed Kelly's website, Yelp page, and booking requirements. I understood that she had a strict cancellation policy requiring the full appointment price, and I provided my credit card information to secure the appointment. I booked a new-client lash fill, brow wax, and brow tint. On the day of the appointment, my car repair was taking longer than expected, so I texted Kelly to give her a heads-up. She initially said she could be flexible by up to an hour, which I appreciated, while also reminding me of her cancellation policy. As we continued texting, Kelly informed me that she would need to remove all of my existing lashes, even though they were only about a week old. This was not clearly listed as a requirement on her website or booking platform. There was an optional add-on to remove lashes from another artist, but nothing stating that a full removal was mandatory. Although I was frustrated, I was willing to accept that. What ultimately changed the situation was learning that July 31 was Kelly's final day working in Seattle because she was moving to California. This was not disclosed on her website or booking platform. She told me she had announced it on Instagram, but I do not believe a new customer should be expected to search through every social-media account for such important information before booking. People who receive lash extensions are generally looking for an ongoing artist, not someone who will remove their current lashes, perform one service, charge a new-client rate, and then immediately leave the state. Had I known she was relocating, I never would have booked the appointment. I asked Kelly whether she would consider splitting the cancellation charge because this significant information had not been disclosed. She could have charged me for the lash service but waive the brow wax and tint--anything that demonstrated some accountability or willingness to meet me halfway as I understand the value of her time. She refused. I never disputed that I had agreed to her cancellation policy. My concern was that a material fact about her business--her final day in Seattle--was not disclosed during the booking process. Kelly could also clearly see that a brand-new client had booked an appointment on her final day and could have contacted me so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I felt that there was no effort to acknowledge the situation, provide reasonable customer service, or take any responsibility for the lack of transparency. My experience was disappointing, and I feel like taking my money was more important to her than ensuring a prospective customer was taken care of.

However she then told me that I would have to get them all removed (a hefty $25) and get a new, full set. Not wanting to go through the hassle of booking and driving to a lash appointment twice, I agreed. Within 5-7 minutes, she had removed all of my previous lashes. Though she never came off rude, I'm left confused as to why she and a coworker spent 10-15 minutes going through and taking photos of my lashes instead of just quickly removing the few bad or outgrown ones, and continuing with a fill. To her credit Vanessa did try to fill in a few volume lashes even though I only paid for a classic set. But it seems that if your lash extensions are even slightly messed up, you may find yourself paying and sitting for a full set instead of having them fix your lashes up during a fill.
