There were a few things that lead to my review…read more The first is, when I got to my appointment, my technician was still working on someone (which is nbd). After a few minutes of waiting, the previous client left, and she had me immediately lie down on the same table. They didn't wipe down the table or use sanitation/disposable cloths, which kind of bothered me. I requested for a wispy lash look. Typically at my previous appointments at various lash extension salons, the technician would ask me detailed questions about my preferences, and ask me what length, curliness, and volume I like. I wasn't asked any questions, only told to show me a picture of lashes I wanted. I felt like the extension process was fine, was poked a few times. Finally I was disappointed at how fast my lashes fell off (~5 days), which was a bummer because I got them done to look nice for a bachelorette party coming up in a week. I felt like the appointment was fast (45-55minutes).

They are always friendly, kind and caring. You can tell they take pride on their work and on taking care of their clients. I mainly come here for a lash lift. Their work is unmatched. I've never had issues with the quality of the lash lift and the curl lasts quite a bit of time. I also tried their dry head spa massage. It was amazing! My first time to ever try it and I am already planning to come back. I do have curly hair so it was a bit messy after but nothing that a quick bun wont fix. Overall, I recommend this place. It is in the second floor of the plaza but I believe there is an elevator. Restrooms are communal to the plaza. The music is always super calm and I always end up taking a mini nap while there haha.

I also appreciate the private room with a table to put your stuff on. Sometimes the way they put on the lash tape hurts, but the artist was very professional and definitely knew what she was doing. I've had allergic reactions in the past and ended up with red eyes for the first couple days, but I'm about 2 hours post lashes and my eyes feel great! On a super random note, I tend to break out easily, so I appreciated the tissue on my forehead so her hand wouldn't touch my sensitive skin. Her salon has a parking lot right behind the shop. I got there about 10-15 minutes early. The shop was still locked up and closed upon arrival. I called and texted her in case I am there the wrong time and day. No answer. She responded closer to the appointment time and showed up late. Zero apologies. Told me to just wait outside. Then rushed me to fill out forms that she never took a look at. Waivers and medical information and all. Not good. In my opinion, the person who showed up late and failed to open /unlock the entrance door should not be rushing the new customer who arrived early and waited patiently. I get it she has two young kids, lives 30 minutes away, has difficult living situation and all her relatives are back where she came from. So do a lot of immigrants. It put a bitter taste in my mouth while I got to hear about her struggle as an immigrant. I'm an immigrant too.....but I am also a customer. Just trying to get my lash lift and tint done on a Sunday late morning. Not play therapist because I can't use my phone. The quality of my lash lift is ok. She basically melted half my lashes because it got left on too long. It's bent and damaged. I just need to leave it alone for the next 60-90 days now. Gave her a 25% tip just out of good will but I doubt I'll be returning again.

I'm writing to share my experience during my recent appointment for an NAD IV infusion. I was…read morereally looking forward to the treatment, so I was disappointed by how the visit ultimately went and wanted to bring it to your attention. When I first arrived for my appointment, the provider attempted to place the IV several times but was unable to access a vein. I believe I was poked about five times before I was asked to come back later and try again. I returned a few hours afterward, hoping the second attempt would be smoother. Unfortunately, the same difficulty occurred. The provider attempted multiple placements again -- in both arms, my foot, my ankle, and eventually my hand. I did mention beforehand that I have very small veins and that IV placement is often difficult for me. When I have IVs done at medical offices, they typically use a smaller "baby needle," which tends to work better for me. I did mention this, but that needle wasn't used. Eventually an IV was placed in my hand. However, while it was being taped down, the IV was jerked, which immediately made me feel like it may have shifted out of the vein. The provider reassured me that it was still properly placed and proceeded to start the infusion. Within about 5-10 minutes, my hand began burning intensely and swelling near my wrist. It also felt extremely cold to the touch. I mentioned this right away and was told that some burning can be normal with NAD. However, the pain and swelling continued to increase -- my fingers began swelling and my arm started to swell as well. At that point I was very concerned that the IV was not actually in the vein. I asked for the IV to be removed because the pain had become severe. Initially there was hesitation to stop the infusion, but I insisted because it hurt so badly. Unfortunately, I had to stop the treatment early and ended up wasting more than half of the IV bag. Because of the number of attempts, the swelling, and having to stop the infusion prematurely, the experience was really uncomfortable and discouraging -- especially since the treatment was quite expensive and something I had been looking forward to. I'm reaching out because I wanted to share what happened and see if there might be a way to resolve the situation. I value your services and would appreciate any consideration you can offer regarding the cost of the treatment or a possible solution.

I booked a dry gel manicure with a regular master and was paired with Pegan as I did not have a preference. Immediately, she was very nice and offered me something to drink. As she was working on removing the previous gel polish I had, she asked if I wanted soft or hard gel. I have only been getting soft gel, but on her suggestion, I agreed to hard gel because she recommended that it would be better for my nails due to the length and shape that I wanted. The entire service was extremely quick for a Russian manicure. I am not sure if it's because I had hard gel but from start to finish, including removing my previous polish, doing the cuticle work, and applying the new polish, was a little over an hour. However at other salons, it would have taken close to 3 hours. I was even nicked on my left pinky during the cuticle cleanup portion but was willing to let that go. Now the reason I am deeply underwhelmed is because I noticed that my right thumb nail (picture shown) has a small chip near the nail wall, less than a week after this service! Now I'm not sure if the issue is the lack of quality of the product used on my nails or the application, but for my nails to be $140, I would not expect any chipping, let alone less than a week after getting it done! Hopefully they will do better for their clients and ensure that the quality of their product can last, especially since the price is so high.
