Melissa master tech does the most amazing lashes I've ever had. Beautiful work. Clean.read more

There were a few things that lead to my review…read more The first is, when I got to my appointment, my technician was still working on someone (which is nbd). After a few minutes of waiting, the previous client left, and she had me immediately lie down on the same table. They didn't wipe down the table or use sanitation/disposable cloths, which kind of bothered me. I requested for a wispy lash look. Typically at my previous appointments at various lash extension salons, the technician would ask me detailed questions about my preferences, and ask me what length, curliness, and volume I like. I wasn't asked any questions, only told to show me a picture of lashes I wanted. I felt like the extension process was fine, was poked a few times. Finally I was disappointed at how fast my lashes fell off (~5 days), which was a bummer because I got them done to look nice for a bachelorette party coming up in a week. I felt like the appointment was fast (45-55minutes).

They are always friendly, kind and caring. You can tell they take pride on their work and on taking care of their clients. I mainly come here for a lash lift. Their work is unmatched. I've never had issues with the quality of the lash lift and the curl lasts quite a bit of time. I also tried their dry head spa massage. It was amazing! My first time to ever try it and I am already planning to come back. I do have curly hair so it was a bit messy after but nothing that a quick bun wont fix. Overall, I recommend this place. It is in the second floor of the plaza but I believe there is an elevator. Restrooms are communal to the plaza. The music is always super calm and I always end up taking a mini nap while there haha.

I also had my lashes lifted and tinted, and I cannot believe how beautiful everything turned out. The best part is that it's all done in about an hour, and you only need to go every six weeks. This is officially a new part of my routine. I will definitely be going back to Eyla every six weeks for my brow lamination and lash lift/tint. I can't recommend them enough!

Christina at Chateau Luxe is truly amazing! I am so happy I found her!…read moreI am spending the summer in Newport Beach and desperately needed a lash artist while away from home. I was instantly sold after reading the many wonderful reviews about Christina and her lash artistry. Christina was incredibly patient and helpful, taking a lot of time to answer all of my questions and explain the different lashing options she offers. I was incredibly impressed with how knowledgeable she is. She is even more bubbly and sweet in person than she is over text/email. The studio is gorgeous and Christina genuinely made me feel so comfortable from the moment I arrived. Most importantly, my lashes look beautiful! I could not be happier! I cannot wait to try her other services (facials) next! I was blown away by her work and her pricing as well. She does amazing lashes for an incredibly reasonable cost in my opinion. Especially in comparison to how outrageously expensive everything is in OC, primarily beauty-related services! I highly recommend Christina and Chateau Luxe to anyone looking for gorgeous lash extensions in SoCal, she is a doll!

I'm writing to share my experience during my recent appointment for an NAD IV infusion. I was…read morereally looking forward to the treatment, so I was disappointed by how the visit ultimately went and wanted to bring it to your attention. When I first arrived for my appointment, the provider attempted to place the IV several times but was unable to access a vein. I believe I was poked about five times before I was asked to come back later and try again. I returned a few hours afterward, hoping the second attempt would be smoother. Unfortunately, the same difficulty occurred. The provider attempted multiple placements again -- in both arms, my foot, my ankle, and eventually my hand. I did mention beforehand that I have very small veins and that IV placement is often difficult for me. When I have IVs done at medical offices, they typically use a smaller "baby needle," which tends to work better for me. I did mention this, but that needle wasn't used. Eventually an IV was placed in my hand. However, while it was being taped down, the IV was jerked, which immediately made me feel like it may have shifted out of the vein. The provider reassured me that it was still properly placed and proceeded to start the infusion. Within about 5-10 minutes, my hand began burning intensely and swelling near my wrist. It also felt extremely cold to the touch. I mentioned this right away and was told that some burning can be normal with NAD. However, the pain and swelling continued to increase -- my fingers began swelling and my arm started to swell as well. At that point I was very concerned that the IV was not actually in the vein. I asked for the IV to be removed because the pain had become severe. Initially there was hesitation to stop the infusion, but I insisted because it hurt so badly. Unfortunately, I had to stop the treatment early and ended up wasting more than half of the IV bag. Because of the number of attempts, the swelling, and having to stop the infusion prematurely, the experience was really uncomfortable and discouraging -- especially since the treatment was quite expensive and something I had been looking forward to. I'm reaching out because I wanted to share what happened and see if there might be a way to resolve the situation. I value your services and would appreciate any consideration you can offer regarding the cost of the treatment or a possible solution.

During my pedicure, I was able to bring my laptop and work comfortably, which I really appreciated. Both times, I came in as a model for training sessions, and I genuinely enjoyed seeing the education process firsthand. It was reassuring to see how seriously the salon takes training and the continued professional development of its staff. I understood that receiving a service during training might mean that small things could come up along the way, but everything went smoothly, and I was very happy with the experience. The results were also great and my standards for a Russian manicure are pretty high! It has now been a week since my manicure, and I haven't experienced any chipping, lifting, or other issues. I usually wear my nails short because my nails are pretty wea, but they have been growing out beautifully. The hospitality was also wonderful. I was offered a drink (they even have a real espresso machine and offer delicious cappuccinos and lates) and was given a granola bar to enjoy with my coffee. Everyone was kind, respectful, and considerate throughout both visits.

Admittedly, I did not do my research prior to this walk in appointment. My goal was to simply get a nice gel pedicure and be on my way. I had not had one for several months so nothing was on my nails. I should have paid closer attention to the differences from the very beginning. Zoe, my technician, was very sweet and did a nice job. But there was no way I was prepared for the $130 sticker shock when I checked out! Not including the tip. I do take responsibility for not inquiring about the cost, but paying well over double what I normally pay with the same result, minus leg massage, etc. just doesn't set right with me. A better business model would be up front and transparent with the costs. Pedis and manis should be relaxing and fun. This was neither.
