My eyebrows are naturally on the thicker, "bushier" side, so I appreciated her working with me to create the best brows for my face shape. I asked why, to which they said they only drill off the color (I had a couple of old designs on a clear polish background), and they'd never let the drill touch my nail bed. I was hesitant but agreed. I had a mani/pedi. The woman doing my toes filed off the first layer of old gel and soaked off the rest. Yes! Exactly what I wanted! Then the mani came (at the same time) and I shared with her again that I've had nail trauma and would like to soak off. She said they can't do that. I looked at my feet, seeing them in fact doing just that. She promises she won't drill my nail beds. Well, she did, of course. And she cut four of my fingers doing cuticle work. My nails are thin, in pain, and bleeding. Not sure why they could soak off my toes but not my hands considering they were the exact same kind of gel. Pretty disappointing experience considering the spot is really nice and pretty pricey. Won't be returning.
