I needed to get three HP printers at my work serviced. Two of them jammed to the point that they weren't working anymore, and the third had just started jamming. I looked online and found three companies. The first wanted to charge us $1,160 before taxes, to service the three printers. The second place wanted to charge us $1,070 before taxes. Then I called Laserzone. They would only charge us $766 with taxes for all three! Their labor rate was about the same as the other companies, but they gave us a considerable discount since we were having multiple printers serviced. Their cost for the HP maintenance kits were $75-$99 cheaper than the other places I called. I set up an appointment for Wednesday of this week. They gave me a window of 10-1. The tech showed up within the window and fixed two of the printers in about an hour. He didn't have the parts with him for the third printer, so he told me he would be back later this week. He returned right on time today to service the last printer. I totally recommend Laserzone for printer repair! I would definitely use them again if we needed printers serviced at work, or even if I needed a printer at home worked on. The tech was very professional and friendly, and the office staff were efficient and easy to work with. Plus they have cheap prices and they show up on time. Can't beat that! read more

They cleaned the belt for free but informed us that we may need to order a new belt as after a lot of use, just cleaning it can only do so much. Create Now (www.createnow.org) is a charity that helps thousands of vulnerable kids to heal through arts mentoring and education. Our Brother MFC9970 printer was printing color copies that were faded with streaks going through them. We hired Laserzone to fix it. Their repairman said that the toner cartridges we had bought from another vendor were the cause of the problem since they were inferior. He convinced me to buy Laserzone's recommended cartridges, that were more expensive. He told me that the black toner was fine to use and we only needed to replace the color cartridges. I asked them to please recycle the other cartridges we had been using, which he said were defective, but they refused because we didn't have a sufficient number of them to make it worth their time. I have been so busy that I haven't had time to try to recycle these other cartridges elsewhere. A few weeks later, we had the same problem - just when I had an important meeting with a City Councilman. I had to run to STAPLES to get copies made. The repairman from Laserzone returned and said that it was the black cartridge from the previous vendor that was defective (the same one he told me was okay). So he used the new black one he had sold us along with the color cartridges - and Laserzone charged us another $65. I paid the bill even though I was angry that we had been given the wrong info. I would have changed the black cartridge if I knew it was going to cause a problem, and saved the $65. Six weeks later, we had to print hundreds of special colored certificates for children who were completing one of our classes, but there were red streaks all over the pages. Laserzone sent a different repairman to fix the printer for the third time. He said that the red ink cartridge they had sold us was leaking! So instead of giving us a new red ink cartridge, he used the other vendor's ink cartridge - the same cartridge that Laserzone's first repairman said was inferior and that we should trash it. Now our printer is finally working fine with this "inferior" ink toner, and we wasted $371 buying Laserzone's ink cartridges that leak! To make matters worse, Laserzone had the nerve to send us yet another invoice for $65 to pay for this repair - to fix THEIR LEAKING INK CARTRIDGE! We are a charity that provides the neediest children in Los Angeles and adjacent Counties in Southern California with the healing power of the arts. Laserzone is a scammer! They have lied about their product, and they have cheated us out of our money that was contributed by donors to provide our arts classes to at-risk and high-risk youth who have been abused, neglected, left homeless and dealing with similar challenges. I have refused to pay their latest invoice. If they come after us again for payment, then I will take Laserzone to Small Claims Court to demand that they pay us for all the grief, stress and lost time that our staff has had to endure because of their schemes. read more

I would give even more stars if it were possible. Their prices are great, they respond quickly and they got the job done for the amount I was quoted. When my xerox had a problem I called xerox (my warranty had already ended) and was told I had to authorize $900 on my credit card before they would send a tech. I told them I would never pay that much because it was more than the cost of a brand new machine. They then called me back and asked me to authorize an even higher amount, several hundred dollars more. I declined. After that, a tech (perhaps an independent contractor?) called to ask how much money I authorizing on my card. No. I was considering just buying a new printer but decided to look elsewhere first. I called laserzone. They quoted $65 to send out a tech the next day. Of course, I said, 'hell yes'! He fixed the problem. The printer is running great. I was then billed $65 for the service. I've had one office printer that I haven't used for over 3 years, another printer has had to be booted by me everytime I need to print something. I talked with Sandra Yesterday, today Saul showed up at my office. He cleaned both printers, he's going to try to find rollers for my Canon printer (one that hasn't worked in 3 years. He cleaned my hp 2015 and reloaded the driver. If this doesn't work I will need a part which costs $125. The total to clean and inspect 2 printers was 170 incl tax. They appear to be an honest company. They've done everything that they said they would do. Saul was punctual and cordial with my staff. He did not disrupt my patient flow. The guy they send to our company to repair our copiers is nice enough and knowledgeable, but they didn't make it out the day they said they would and didn't call to tell me that, I was the one who had to call them and find out when they were going to come. You would think they would call and say "hey we aren't going to make it today" but they didn't. Then they took our copier with them to work on and I was quoted 3-4 days return, on day 3 I again had to contact them to check the status to which they still "weren't sure when it would be done." UPDATE: Spoke with sales manager at LaserZone, told him of our issue, and he seems to be very much on top of it. We are going forward and hope that the lack of communication wont be an issue any further which would be great because I am confident that they know what they are doing as far as printers go. Recently our printer contract expired and we went on the hunt for competing bids. Having been under a charge for every page printed agreement, we were under the impression that things were as cost effective as they could be. I was really impressed with the service i received from this company I called to see if they work on my old laser printer (10 yrs old but I love this machine) as not all companies still do, the young lady who answered told me that they could come to my home or I could bring it in. I decided to go to them as I was going to be in the area that day. Although they could not guarantee that they could work on it that same day I was fine with that. As luck was going my way when I brought it to them they had a technician available to repair it on the spot and someone to carry in the printer for me! After an extensive search, I found an 11" x 17" laser printer. It took forever to find one that didn't need to be shipped from the other side of the country (shipping would be very expensive). Also, I need to know it would work with my Intel Mac which meant it had to be network capable. If discover Laserzone and as luck would have it, they were only a few miles from where I live/work. They had a much lower price than their nearest competitor (by over $100). I ordered it and it took a couple of extra days to get it, but since I wasn't under a deadline, it wasn't that big of a deal. When I got it home and set it up, I couldn't get it to work with my computer. I'm pretty computer savvy, having run a few design studios already, so I'm not a "call IT to fix it" guy. But after 2 days of struggling and endless google searches, I got nowhere. I then called and talked to their main service guy Chris, and he was very accommodating. He said he would come to my office and fix the problem (no charge). We scheduled a time and he came out and was stumped too, for about 5 minutes. He then tried a couple of IT tricks and sure enough, got it up and running. I wouldn't normally write a yelp review about something like printer service, but felt that I had to give credit to Laserzone for what they have done for our organization. We had a contract with another company (who I wont mention here) that had been providing our printer and copier maintenance for years. For the last year or so we noticed that their service began to lag so we decided to try a couple other companies when the contract ran out. i fiirst called a couple other printer repair companies to get my 2 printers repaired and the first company would not even give me a rough estimate over the phone just said I had to pay to have technician come out or bring it in the second company gave me a quote for $800.00 plus taxes. When I called Laserzone I was able to actually speak with a technician and he explained what he thought the problem was and qouted me $600.00 including taxes and even gave me a $25.00 discount on top of that for being a first time customer. The technician came out on time the next day to my business and repaired both my lasers for $575 including taxes and labor. Hello I have a brother laser 9840 CDW printer that read error 32 unable to print. I called Laser zone they sent a technician name Josh to my house he told me I need a solenoid to fix the problem. Josh fixed the solenoid but I wasn't satisfied with the printing result. I called and made a complaint the owner Chris who came to my house and resolved the printing problem. There are three printer supply and service companies right here in Valencia that I could use, but since I discovered Laserzone in Culver City, I've never looked back. These guys are basically magicians. I've had this old printer for a long time and I had been living with many minor issues for a while but I didn't want to buy another printer because this one has everything I need and I am attached to the way it works. Anyway, long story short, finally it just gave up on me one day. So, I decided before I threw it out I would just check around to see if anyone could help me for a reasonable amount of money. I called 2 other places and they said I would be better off just buying a new one (even after I explained how attached I was to this particular printer). I was a little taken aback by how little these other printer repair businesses seemed to want my money! We had a complicated problem with a wide carriage HP DesignJet printer. The repair was extremely difficult to diagnose. Turns out it needed 2 parts and also had a broken trailing cable guide - three issues in total. Laserzone took the printer to their offices and spent several hours troubleshooting and attempting to repair during the first attempt. During the troubleshooting a part that they replaced broke again. They did not charge us for the trip fees, the hours of troubleshooting, or the replacement part that broke again. So, even though Laserzone was not able to initially repair the printer, they invested time and money to attempt repair. We were never charged a penny for the first attempt because it was not completely repaired: they allowed us to "Beta test" the unit to make sure it worked at no charge. This speaks to the ethical and honest nature of this company. Eventually, the printer was diagnosed with the multiple issues and Laserzone repaired it (by taking the unit to their shop a second time). We liked the fact that they took the wide carriage unit to their shop so they could thoroughly work on it and to thoroughly test it - post repair. This is twice the driving time for the technician and Laserzone waived the trip charges to boot. They honored their estimate and effectively communicated during all phases of the process. read more
