These guys are butchers! I went in for a simple IPL treatment. My face never healed, even though I explicitly followed their instructions. This was over 5 months ago. I called them to come back in so they could see the damage and they told me it wasn't their fault and to go to a dermatologist - without even looking at me! The dermatologist says that my shin is badly burned because they didn't use enough gel and my face now has visible "dents". He says it could take as long as 5 years for my face to heal. It's dry, tight and sore still after all this time. I keep calling to try to get some type of acknowledgement and so they don't do this to some other poor soul but just get the runaround and am never able to speak to anyone who gives a care. read more

HERE IS THE FIRST REVIEW I DID ON BOTH TEMECULA AND CARLSBAD. IT WAS EDITED ON BOTH LOCATIONS' YELP SITES AND GOOGLE PAGES!!! JUST LETTING YOU KNOW, YOU CAN'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR TONI, THE MANAGER THAT SOLD ME THE ENTIRE PACKAGE TO CALL ME. NOTHING. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED THAT TONI DIDN'T FOLLOW THROUGH AFTER I SPENT $4k! Caregiving for my parent took it's toll on me. i looked like I had aged 20 years. I was hoping I could find someone that did procedures that didn't use a knife. Someone recommended LaserAway. I was so thrilled - all non-surgical procedures. I consulted with Toni and, even though I knew (and know) the upsale game, I watched amusingly her clicking away at her calculator. I bought every procedure I needed - $4K worth (cheaper than a plastic surgeon I know). First, the Voluma for my cheeks and then Juvederm for my entire lip area. The Juvederm procedure looked great, but I needed more. Two more times at $1.6K and I was wow'd by the result. Now for the Thermage for my eyes. Very uncomfortable and I see a little bit of a result. Then Cool Sculpt for the chin area. Very uncomfortable as well. Needed to do it twice. The 2nd time the machine broke down half way through. It took continual calling to both the Temecula Laser Away (I had moved ) and the Carlsbad Laser Away to try to get in and finish it. "I kept getting the changing of my appt. routine." - calling same day to reschedule. FINALLY Toni got me in to finish it. When I came in I asked to speak to someone in privacy - I didn't want to make any scene. I was taken into a consultation room. I asked the person "why do my lips look exactly the way they were when I first started?" She got my image file and found the BEFORE picture and took a picture of me and said "they do look the same. Your body assimilated the Juvederm differently. (I went in 3 times to keep adding and it lasted 2 months!) I asked her why do I now have large broken capillaries on both lower sides of my nose - they obviously occurred with the Juvederm needles. The person brought in the Lead and here came the calculator. Long story short - I needed to buy another $1.6K in 2 procedures (1 was free) to erase "somehow" the lines around my upper lip and the broken capillaries. I said I would think about it. A few weeks later I looked in the mirror and I was shocked to see that the Voluma that was put in my cheeks was put in too high so that when I smiled the skin underneath my eyes squished upward - hard to describe, I know. And I tried to smile my normal smile and I couldn't! My face was frozen to where I could only get my top teeth to show with straight across marionette lines going out on each side! I finally called Toni and told her everything. She was horrified and said she would get the company to do my lip area all over again free of charge. I am still waiting to hear back from her. The longer delay the more I thought I went to a place that I thought had doctors but they were not - they were young girls called practitioners with no medical degrees. They do NOT know what they are doing. Now, I must wait for the cheek Voluma to wear off (they said 2 years - great : { ) and for the Juvederm to wear off so I can smile again, showing my teeth, not a Mona Lisa version. Please, think hard about getting a "refresher" from Laser Away. Mine was a complete disaster. read more

I'm giving 1 star because the staff here are super nice and they have nothing to do with my bad experience at laseraway. ** SEE BOTTOM FOR GREAT ADVICE** My true issues with laseraway is 1. I just finished my 8th session a few days ago (Brazilian/under arms) and there is vary minimal results. Yes my hair is a tad bit thinner but it definitely all grows right back within a week. They offered (and I quote) "A DEAL" on an additional 3 session package for $450. Which leads me to my second issue 2. They are able to finance you and make it seem like they are giving some type of good deal. For my 8 session package for Brazilian/under arms they approved me for a $1300+ loan and my payments are $113 a month. Seemed like a good deal to me and still would be, if the treatments actually worked. If I needed three more sessions I feel they should be complementary or a better deal than $450. The only reason I'm actually complaining about the pricing is because after signing the contract I began doing more research and found a place called SEV that also does laser hair removal for a fraction of he price. I actually know people who have been to SEV and seen real results. I'm planning on making my appointment with them in four weeks so I'll have my own results but ***if you're looking into laser hair removal I'd check out SEV. before committing to laseraway Brazilian- $50 Underarms- $30 Just wish a tip like this was on yelp/YouTube when I was looking into starting with laseraway because I definitely wouldn't have signed that contract. read more

Purchased laser hair removal on Groupon to find out that my appointment was for a consultation. Then appointment was made 3 weeks later. During the consultation my groupon was activated. This hindered my refund. During the consultation I was told the session purchased on Groupon was not enough. I personally feel like the Groupon was to get me in and to up sale. I went for my appointment for the treatment and was evened sent a text to confirm my appointment. I made arrangement with my schedule to find out he Machine was down.. a week later still no refund. Received a call today to call Groupon, to find out they were closed. Poor customer service all around. read more

This is my 1st time going to this location in Costa Mesa and this is my 2nd visit, my tech is Angie and she did an amazing job and was very thorough. The best part is I happened to go when the regional manager was there and she was amazing, I was able to ask her questions and she was very knowledgeable she provided info that my 1st 6 month treatment didn't provide at a different location and I extended my package. I am going for laser treatment on my chin and it is quick I can't say what the results are yet but at the end of my 10 month package I can't give a better update the pain level is not bad but I have a high pain threshold.
