I had a few services done the last couple weeks. From booking to treatments, I've had nothing short of stellar service. Amy helped me find the right treatment packages and got me set up with their promotional financing. I had so many questions, and Amy addressed each one helping me confidently make the right choices for my treatment plans. Amy even followed up AFTER my appointment to make sure everything went well. I had botox done by Kaitlyn a couple weeks ago and it's settled so nicely! No rogue eyebrows or a frozen face. My forehead is sooo smooth and I look refreshed. Today I had my first underarm laser hair removal as well as a Clear and Brilliant laser facial done by Evelyn. She had great bedside manner and took great care of me! This is my 4th Clear and Brilliant treatment and I cannot recommend them enough. I struggled with acne for years and tried so many different topical treatments and even Accutane and nothing helped. After one treatment of Clear and Brilliant my acne cleared and my scars didn't look as deep! My scars continue to improve with each treatment. Today Evelyn focused on my skin texture (scars) as well as my sun spots. Before leaving today Nila got me set up with an appointment with Jade for lip injections as they are having a DEAL on fillers. The front staff was so rude when I said that I should have been informed about the wait. This impacted my treatment time. For a 30 minute numbing period for a clear and brilliant the nurse wanted to start in like 10 minutes. I refused and was told that they will shorten my treatment to half the time because the nurse has to leave. They will never agree to their mistake of messing up their scheduling. I first saw her at my second visit for underarms and Brazillian laser hair removal and she definitely set the standard of care. She was very accommodating and had a great bedside manner throughout the process and made sure I was comfortable by explaining each step. I bought two packages one was clear and brilliance the other was underarm/lip/chin hair removal. My first visit was underarm/chin/lip hair removal which went well, on my second visit I was severely burnt on my upper lip and they recommended waiting till I was healed completely to resume treatment on my lip & chin but we continued with just the underarm treatments. I completed my underarm treatments and then resumed lip/chin treatments. I had 2 visits, today was my 3rd visit. After the treatment I came to the reception to book my next appointment and I was told that I never purchased a lip/chin treatment. The nurse I saw today told me I had 5 more treatments to go according to my chart. I asked the girl if I didn't buy a package then how did I end up getting 3 treatments because nothing is for free! They showed me the receipt which didn't say "lip/chin" so they totally denied me. Now I'm thinking that clearly I was lied to by the girl who sold the package to me. The receipt was emailed to me so I didn't verify anything on paper at the time of purchase instead I believed what she told me. I don't recommend Laseraway, I much rather spend more money somewhere else. Now I have to wait 48 hours for someone in customer service to call me back to let me know if I can book the treatments that I've already paid for, not happy about this, the person on the phone acted like she was doing me a favor. I guess once they receive payment, over the phone customer service goes out the door. Receive a call back from Laura, she lvm, now Laura is trying to take a treatment a way... That I already paid in full for. Return the call, waiting for a call back. Later that day... I called back, spoke with a customer service representative Daria, she is awesome!!! She resolved my issue in record time. I explained my situation she looked up the canceled appointment contacted the San Jose Laseraway gave them an update of what was going on, so that I can call them to book my appointment. For now not going back to the Dublin location. I called the San Jose Laseraway, spoke to Sierra to book my appointment she was super awesome so friendly and empathetic. She book my appointment no problem. Not sure why the customer service at the Dublin office was not up to par but speaking with Daria and Sierra restored my faith in the customer service that laseraway provides their clients. EDIT: a representative reached out to me from customer service. Initially, she sounded very sympathetic, but then said "well, we can't offer you a refund because you bought a 6 + 2 package and since you've already used your 6 paid sessions, anything moving forward would have been bonus. So what I can do is offer you two free sessions" I said that was kind but that I didn't need 4 more sessions and she corrected me and said she meant only two more sessions. I said "so are you telling me that you're giving me two free sessions to resolve this even though I already had two free sessions coming?" And she said yes but that she hadn't thought this through ahead of time. She then mentioned that someone had already resolved this issue for me because they'd added a facial to my account, and questioned why I was still "complaining". I reminded her that not only am I not comfortable going back to the establishment, but that I wasn't interested in other treatments they offered (which I'd already told the branch employee when this happened). I asked her about offering the value of that facial was to see if that could be offered in cash value instead or at this point I was willing to visit a different location just to resolve this and recoup my losses (which is exceptionally inconvenient considering my location), and her response was that the service offered to me didn't really hold a cash value (this after working hard to hype up the fabulousness of the service). Huh. After a fair amount of back and forth, I was able to get her to add ONE extra area of treatment for ONE session, that was her resolution. I agreed to it, which I regret. I booked then cancelled that last session because ultimately I still feel the same way - completely uncomfortable and distrusting of this organization. So at this point, I've cut my losses. Hopefully someone avoids similar. ORIGINAL POST: Do not visit this location. I was a few sessions into laser hair removal treatment when they decided without giving me any heads up or information whatsoever that a trainee would be giving me treatment. She was accompanied by what I assume was an evaluator or mentor, but again nothing was explained so I have no idea. The "evaluator" didn't observe the work of the trainer at all, having her back to the room the entire time. Then, when I was exposed and in a vulnerable position, the evaluator decided it was a good time to OPEN THE DOOR and leave the room: I was in the treatment room closest to the waiting area, which has entire floor to ceiling window wall that faces out to a busy parking lot. I was mortified to say the least. I informed the front desk about what happened and while they were apologetic, they didn't offer much in the way of reassurance about the nature of this. I have told them that I don't feel comfortable returning and asked for a refund since the package was prepaid and it's been crickets since. I reached out to their customer service and have had the same non-response. BBB gives them an F and reviewers for BBB give the company 1.19 out of 5 stars. Initially at my consult appointment I was told I would see a reduction of 70% depending on my hair type so I was expecting at least some improvement no matter my hair type. 11 treatments later and I have seen no improvement in my underarm area. I purchased a package that Included my underarms, upper lip and bikini for $1700. That's a high price to pay for three small areas so I was expecting to see some difference. After finishing my treatments I explained that I haven't see any improvement in my underarm areas and I would expect for them to care about their customers more and try to offer more treatments especially after me paying $1700. But I was offered to purchase a maintenance package, so on top of the initial money I spent they except me to pay even more? It's unethical to advertise to customers that you would see a difference in hair growth with the packages you purchase and not follow through. Laser away promotes false advertising and they steal your money. If I were you I would do your research more before going to get laser treatments because laser away only cares about taking your money then leave you hanging when you are unhappy with your result. I would get if I saw at least 40% reduction then yes I would maybe consider a maintenance packages but I have seen ZERO progress. I will continue to tell my friends and family to never go to laser away because you won't get anything out of it. You will still go back to using razors every day and it's a complete waste of money. I am bummed because the red vessels under my nose did not change at all despite having 3 IPL treatments. Prior to each treatment I emphasized the red areas were my only concern. Having had IPL in the past from different providers, it seems to me that LaserAway errors on the side of caution in regards to the settings on the machines. My previous experience is that most of my redness was gone after one treatment, and 100% gone after the second. Also, the number of pulses varied wildly based on the person operating the laser, and I found that very frustrating. I got a great deal (Groupon) but would recommend paying a bit more and go to an office that can achieve positive outcomes. read more

I paid a great amount of money to get laser hair removal but very disappointed with the service and overall results. Service: After couple appointments they don't give proper attention and services! Every nurse is different and every treatment is different with the results varying. My recent appointment was done in less than 30 mins which was actually supposed to go for at least 60-80 mins. When I spoke to Customer service about this, the manager of the store reached out who was pretty rude and I was just told to wait to finish the entire 8 sessions to see the results. And if there still is hair growth with no proper results then I'll have to go for maintenance packages since every body type and hair type are different . I already paid hefty money for this package and I'm asked to spend more money for sick service. Scheduling: When I signed up for the full body hair removal, I was assured that the appointments will be scheduled for the same day for all the areas so that I don't have to do back and forth dealing with multiple appointments but they just did that for couple appointments and later said conveniently "Our policies have changed and we cannot book a single day appointment for all the areas moving forward". They don't allow scheduling for one day coz they want to cater to more people and the machines get worked up. Booking 2-3 hrs for a single person is a loss for them so they stopped doing that. Now I have to go for 2 sometimes 3 days to the same location every 6 weeks which is such a hassle. Also when it comes to their timing, even if you are 5-10 mins late for the appointment, they will only treat the areas tats possible in the remaining time or ask you to book a new appointment if the time is up, since they are so overbooked back to back. Several scheduling changes and finally, when I reached the appointment on the set day and time, my requested technician had not been assigned to me. An utter lack of professionalism displayed by Nila at the reception who trivialised the issue and behaved passive aggressively , rolling her eyes and muttering expletives under her breath, when, after being made to wait an additional 25 mins for my technician I shared with her why this was not okay. After already delaying my afternoon significantly, this person thought it's a good idea to tell ME, that I should either think about getting only half my service done that day or be prepared that my chosen technician will not have time to attend to my sensitive skin. HOW IS OKAY TO SUGGEST THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY MESSED UP THEIR SCHEDULING, THAT I SHOULD SHOW FLEXIBILITY TIME AND AGAIN? Of course when I told her again that this is not acceptable, there was more eye rolling, multiple "as I told yous", and finally the statement "I'm going to stop this conversation now as it's making me uncomfortable". Just wow. LOL. It is comic that when a customer calls them out on a mistake asking for it to be rectified, the staff felt "uncomfortable ". At that point I switched to speaking to the other girl at the reception who was much more coherent. And for what it's worth, for all the pre-warnings about my technician being overbooked and Nila asking me to cut short my service that day or use someone else, she found the time to "chat", shooting the breeze with my technician for the 15 mins after my session right there at the reception area...; so obviously neither of them were as busy as described. DO NOT go to this LaserAway. They are unprofessional and they are NOT consistent in their policies and how they apply them. I went in for IPL treatment and previously I've used numbing cream with no issue. The nurse got scared and told me she had to "escalate" it and they refused my treatment. I had IPL 2 months prior and there was absolutely NO issue with it. The nurse at that appt went and had it cleared with no problem. I've had it done at different MedSpas and they actually give patients numbing cream beforehand! The front desk staff is loud, they sit up there and gossip and talk loudly while customers are waiting. I asked to speak to a manager and the nurse led me up to the front to one of the girls sitting around talking. She just continued to sit there rolling around on her stool. Didn't stand up and speak to me in a professional manner. She offered no solutions. All they kept saying is "it's our policy." I said it wasn't your policy 2 months ago. Also, another issue I had previous is that I bought a Brazilian laser hair removal maintenance package. I called to schedule an appt for the last treatment and the woman told me that they had done more treatments than I paid for and therefore could not finish my package. First off, that was incorrect. Second, even if it was correct that was YOUR mistake and you taking service away from a loyal (at the time) customer, is horrible business practice and lost LaserAway any future business from me. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for. This location used to be professional and pleasant to come for treatments but they have really fallen off. I've completed by 10 treatments and wanted to follow up. Every time I got a treatment there was a different coverage area if that makes sense. They were never consistent. Some would cover an area and say it was included and the next person would not want to do it and have to confirm or go get the nurse. There doesn't seem to be consistent training and/or protocal to follow. The place is really dirty and there's stuff thrown around each room I've been in. When there was a mask mandate in place the 2 to 3 ladies in the front never wore a mask when I went in. The only positive thing about this place was Carly who was truly amazing, professional and remembers every customers name. I also had several clear and brilliant treatments and I had no changes, I have fair skin so it wasn't because I have a darker skin color which tends to have no results or is not recommended for the treatment. It is waste of your money. i bought a package for brazilian, half legs, and underarms, also got for upper lips laser hair removal. Completed the whole package, got two more maintainence packages, so got a lot of laser treatments, however got full growth back as soon as i stopped it. There was absolutely no reduction in my hair growth not even 50% despite of spending so much money and undergoing so many sessions. While i was doing the treatment , it definitely showed reduction in hairgrowth but it was only while i was going through the treatments, as soon as i was done , i got full hair growth back. Also the nurses are not good, they donot cover the whole area, specially of brazilian which obviously you want them to cover the whole area, but they are always in a hurry and leave multiple spots. Save your money. It is just waste of money and time. It doesn't work at all. Oh also, the staff is not good at all, they cancel your appointments without reason( saying some problem with equipment) and then u loose your 6-8 weeks cycle . When I first started getting Botox, I went to Laser Away in Dublin but over the last few years it's gone downhill, or maybe I just started to better understand what expectations to have. There has been a big turnover in employees over the last 2 years and I'm guessing many are very inexperienced. I've had more bad experiences than good. It's probably been 4 separate occasions that I have had to go back for a touch up because one eyebrow is noticeably higher than the other, and at least two of those times the touch up has made it worse and I've just had to wait it out for months. I have some really special occasions/trips where I hate all of the photos because my eye is totally pushing down because of bad botox from this Laser Away location. If you can schedule with the one good injector that's still there, you'll be fine but otherwise it's a total crap shoot to how the result will be. There's a lot of other med spas and places to have this kind of service done -- I highly suggest going elsewhere. read more

She said if I changed my mind and didn't want to proceed with the extra services I could get a full refund. I confirmed with her that I could get my money back, not just store credit. I did change my mind and do not want the extra services I paid for in advance. Now, the store front doesn't process refunds, only store credit. They instructed me to call Karen if I wanted a refund. I've called Karen multiple times and called their customer service line multiple times weekly for the past month. They 'can't' give me the phone number of anyone else to reach out to and after each phone call promise I'll get a call back within 24-72hrs. I've not once received a call back. It so shady!
