Stay far far far away unless you like scams, hidden fees and lies. People who don't follow through or a business for women run by men. All the service amounts are calculated on post it notes and provided to you that way. There are no contracts and there is no accountability, there is no transparency there are no rate sheets, literally just liessss and schemes. They do nothing to "make things better" when they mess up. Lots of sorrys but that's about it. The regional director Alex told me I can call her whenever and she sent my call to voicemail and texted me stating she cannot talk at that time but is happy to text me. So she too thrives off lies. Perfect company for a lady like her. Kamila the manager of this location said she would honor a free clear and brilliant for their error. Two weeks ago. Over the phone and in person I was told they are working so hard to get this to me. And still nothing. When I told "Alex" about this she said this wouldn't be honored because it wasn't in writing. I have emailed, called left messages oh wait I cannot because everyone's voice messages are full and no one can respond or pick up despite them saying "message me whenever and I will be sure to personally help you." Save your time, save your breath and do not come here. You can go on Reddit and read about all those who have asked for refunds and the absolute scam this place does and what they do to keep money. I guess it's the only way they stay in business...because for sure they wouldn't be in business if their aggressive sales and lies were actually transparent. They also use a call center to answer their calls. So where is your money going? Just consider that. And where are the doctors? This place is a joke. Booked online for a specific date and time, yet immediately got bombarded with calls, voicemails, and texts trying to move my appointment sooner. If I wanted an earlier time, I would've booked one. Srijana was incredibly snarky, condescending and unprofessional. Here's how the experience went: Arrived 10 minutes early, still waited 20 minutes total past my scheduled time Constant upselling, I was sent a "look book" and kept getting pushed add-on services when I only wanted tattoo removal. Complete disregard to what I communicated to Srijana. Pricing confusion, staff struggled to calculate costs accurately and Srijana insisted on seeing my tattoos herself despite previously telling me only the "nurse" can calculate and provide the projected cost. High-pressure sales tactics, quote dropped from ~$5,000 to $3,000, then follow up texts pushing for a same-day commitment. Overall, the experience felt chaotic, pushy, and disrespectful of my time. I saw a lot of ads online so I spent 20 min at the front desk only to find that they push all sorts of "packages" at you and refuse to answer the questions asked or discuss the actual promotions advertised. I have prior experience with laser and asked educated questions about the areas, the number of sessions and for the most part staff was evasive and kept saying "I'd be doing a disservice to you if I sold you that alone". The comment below from Nidhi S. is inline with the heinous treatment I received earlier this evening - the behavior sounds like that of the front desk girl who tried to intimidate and belittle me in front of the girl working the desk and customers coming in and out - it was the most despicable customer service I've experienced ever. I made a last minute appointment to get 4 units of Xeumin - a month post my previous visit. Apparently on the last visit, I had gone over my units (from Care Credit) by about $500 - which is fine and understandable, but what followed is absolutely not. Upon arrival, this front desk girl was immediately pushy about specials - I politely entertained her until to my relief the nurse came. We went back and after marking the places for treatment the receptionist OPENS the door, surprising both me and the nurse. The nurse leaves, she comes in and tells me I have an outstanding balance and need to pay it before treatment - not a big deal, I went on out, and she proceeded to show me a sticky note - not an itemized receipt or any documentation to explain this number. Now here's the thing - she was right about what I owe (I think - still not even positive) but the way she explained it left me completely confused, considering I wasn't recalling all of the details of my previous appointments - probably because she was speaking to me like I was some sort of child and thief - despite me being an easy ten years her senior, but upon my initial lack of understanding she said phrases such as "you TOOK services from us and now you OWE us" emphasis on those words. I maintained composure because I was really just trying to understand. Then, I asked her if I still had money left from my recent care credit purchase to cover this 500 - because I thought I did (I learned upon going home and digging through my email that this didn't add up but still it shouldn't have gone down like this). But, she tells me "yes" I have $700 left over. I ask her if I can role it over and she says yes but I still have to pay $500. At this point, I'm just mind boggled but wondering if it's me. Then, she tells me that my account is flagged, and I'm going to be sent to collections - for a bill I've never seen mind you. And she's speaking to me this way despite me sticking around and kindly trying to understand. I asked her if this is because I missed a care credit payment (I did not) - she tells me yes, and that my account has been frozen as a result and I need to reapply to reactivate my care credit to access the remaining $700 and role over this $500... so I say oh okay, she sends me the link, I fill it out and I'm preapproved for the original $1200, I told her this looks like a new line of care credit and I don't want that. She tells me I'm going to need to pay $500 then. So, just completely at a loss I tell her I'm sorry and we're just not making sense to one another and that's okay, I'll just call to see what's going on and have this resolved, she says to me "yes it's not sinking in" in the most condescending tone - I honestly still can't even believe this all happened. It was horrific. And just as the other review noted, her colleague was standing by, no offer to step in and help remediate and figure out the disconnect - which an itemized bill or just straight up telling me I was out of money/units would have worked just fine! Anyway, she proceeds to tell me she will follow up Tuesday and it sounded more like a threat than support -from the beginning, her tone was as if she was assuming I was trying to avoid payment - which is insane considering this was the first time I even heard about this bill. I was treated as if I was a thief and intentionally trying to not pay what was owed, and spoken down to - she called me sweetie at one point when I wasn't understanding and she is maybe 20 years old. The lack of awareness, empathy, and general ability to communicate effectively were astounding. She's a beautiful girl but her interpersonal skills are damaging to this brand. Similar to the previous rating, I see Britney, she is wonderful and so talented. Everytime I've gone to LaserAway the past couple years, the girls at the front are so nice, funny, we chat about motherhood, pregnancy etc, literally the sweetest - and today it that was completely flipped on its head to the point that I will never set foot in that branch again, and it makes me sad. I've reached out to customer service via email to learn of what my actual balance is and why, just hoping to see documentation because that's a reasonable thing to request - I want to know and understand where my money is going especially since it's toward a previous appointment. An adult who knows how to be professional, discretionary, and evidence-based, kind? would be wonderful. Update: texts today. LaserAway, please intervene, this is becoming a more serious issue. I thought it might have been one interaction, but the hostility has been consistent for the past 5 months with every interaction. After arguing for 5+ minutes she finally offered to reschedule me for the same day without the no show charge. Leading w an offer to reschedule would have been far better customer service than leading with a ridiculously high fee! The turnover at this place is also very indicative of how they must treat their employees!!! There is rarely a consistent person at the front reception area and if I get the same nurse more than once it's an exception not the rule! When I confronted them, they had the audacity to demand another $1,200 for more sessions. Like one another reviewer mentioned, I got the same response - 'Hormonal changes' - can't help it. They use the same laser on every skin type, as if one-size-fits-all is a legitimate medical approach. It's not. They clearly have no understanding of proper laser protocols for different skin tones or hair textures. I've been coming to LaserAway for regular laser treatments and usually see Brittany, who is excellent -- she's the only technician I've consistently had a good experience with. Unfortunately, every other practitioner I've seen has seemed rushed, inattentive, and the overall quality of care has been disappointing. I completely understand that it's not always possible to have the same technician each time -- and I wasn't demanding that. I simply shared genuine feedback and asked if I could be scheduled with Brittany when possible, because my previous experiences with other providers weren't great. Instead of responding professionally, one of the front desk staff became defensive and borderline confrontational. She lectured me about how all practitioners are trained the same, questioned my understanding of the technology, and dismissed my concerns by blaming it on "hormonal changes." To make things worse, there were two front desk employees present. While one was being openly rude, the other just stood by, completely silent, pretending not to hear anything. No one made an effort to de-escalate the situation or support me as a long-standing, paying client. When I said I was feeling uncomfortable with how the conversation was going, I received no apology or empathy. I asked for the staff member's name and to speak with a manager, but she refused and said the manager is on maternity leave with no one else available. I was told that customer support would follow up with me -- but it's been over 48 hours, and I haven't heard a thing. The worst part? I've already paid a significant amount of money upfront, and I still have treatments pending -- but now I feel completely uncomfortable returning. This experience has made me lose trust in both the professionalism and accountability at this location. A simple phone call made it clear this place is not it: Spoke with "Taylor" to schedule an appointment as a potential new client. I made it clear that I was only calling about a specific service/area and wasn't interested in discussing any other services/areas. She proceeded to immediately ask me questions about other areas. I reminded her I'm only interested in discussing one area. The rest of the conversation was totally off putting... Her tone changed. She abruptly listed a price for the service. I was open about my process of shopping around and said I was surprised by how different their rate was, in comparison. Very bad experience. The agent or the front desk girl is very rude. Gave me wrong information about the finance. Her name is Vanissa. I made the deal over the phone. She insisted to push me to finish the paperwork for finance very fast. I told her can I do it later to take my time to read the details. She said no it has to be done while I am on the phone with her. I asked her many times if there is any interest, she said no. She never mentioned it is a loan. Later I got a message that I have a loan and it has interest 33% I was upset. I got the number for the lender called them asked to cancel the loan. They said no problem just call the layer away and ask them to cancel it and resend the money back. I called them a week ago. Only today, this agent Vanessa called me. And she said why you want to cancel. I told her the reason. She claimed that I can not cancel the loan! I told her that's not true! The lender said I can. Then she said u can't because u don't have a reason! I repeated my words many times, she was very rude and provoked me for long time. I said I wanted to talk to your manager. She said she will call you. Later I called the location to speak with a manager. Apparently her colleague ( Alexas) Apparently she knows the situation, she tried to cover her colleague by telling me. I would not recommend LaserAway. The Pleasanton location is very unprofessional. They changed my appointment without telling me, and when I showed up, they blamed me for it. I even had an email confirmation from them for 1:45, sent just two days before, yet they insisted my appointment was at 1:15. When I asked for a manager, the front desk staff told me there wouldn't be one for months because the manager is on maternity leave. I have never seen a facility leave staff completely without managerial coverage for that long. The front desk woman I spoke with showed no empathy whatsoever. This place is just a selling machine. My "consult" was over the phone with a very pushy person upselling me on their "newest" service. If you buy one session, it is WAY more expensive than buying several. They sell packages and make commission from it, so they don't care if this service is good for you or not. I ended up buying 6 sessions of Potenza (micro needling) for over $3k (yup, my fault I know). The nurse was so aggressive with the needles I ended up with track marks on my face (still visible after one year). They kindly changed my package to something that is working better (but not worth the money, IMO). Every time I go in for my treatment, they ask if I've tried potenza. Even the same nurse that was so aggressive with my face the last time asked me if I've tried it! Really!!!?? BTW, that same nurse was equally aggressive and hurried with my new treatment that she caught my nose ring in the laser wand and pulled it really hard. That same day they tried to upsell me on a new treatment from Korea that costs $750 per treatment. Omg!!! Anyways. The point is, if I am going to spend this much $$$ on myself, I would much rather go to a medspa where the nurse practitioners remember you and help you with your goals, because they actually care. Unfortunately today was my last laser session. I had an amazing appointment with Tiana. She was super attentive, personable and detailed in her treatment. She was the only person that offered to ice me between sections, I do realize it adds on time and to the tedious treatment. So im super grateful she offered it to me as it made a huge difference. This location is not as spacious, sometimes they run a little late due to a lot of foot traffic but they have never last minute canceled or rescheduled my appointments like my local location. This location has always been clean while in the lobby and bathroom. I've been helped right away by the front desk. Nurse Jade helped me twice before and she was very thorough and made sure I got my moneys worth by turning up the level a little bit. I did complain about not seeing results and she definitely made sure to increase the level. This was my first time experiencing this type of treatment and outside of the general information on what to prepare ahead of time, what the procedure would be like, and after care, I didn't know what to expect going into my appointment. I admit I arrived two mins after my scheduled time, but came to find they were pretty booked up that day and was told we were eating into time. I was then brought to the very back of the store and was told to apply the facial numbing cream myself; sitting at a small desk across from the bathroom and next to broken down boxes and an open garbage can that had someone's unfinished lunch. Never having to apply numbing cream before, I generally asked how I should be applying it to my face- and was given a very unspecific "just everywhere". This left me with a very bad impression since I didn't think that after investing this much, I'd have to put on numbing cream myself- and in the very back corner of the store. Going into my treatment, my technician was very kind, informative, and efficient. The procedure itself wasn't really painful, granted, I did have to hold up a mini fan myself the whole time to cool my face. My husband did say he noticed my freckled already seemed lighter, which is a plus. However, my biggest gripe would just be the entire experience prior laser treatment. Laseraway offers terrible customer service. They sell you on your plan so fast and during that call everyone is so polite and nice but once you go thru the loan process BOOM... they disappear and never reach back to you. Also, they are a lot more expensive for hair removal that doesn't work. Here's what my experience has been. 1. They do not have a customer service number for you to call. So everyone you talk to will submit a "ticket" and no one replies to that ticket. Same goes if you email them. 2. Each time you speak to someone they tell you a whole different thing. No one is on the same page. 3. The nurses who do the laser treatment for you also are not trained the same way. They all give you different information. 4. I have been calling for the last few weeks just to have a customer service reach out to me. 5. Friend referral program they offer is a lie. I recommend someone when I first sign up and never got the credit for it because their representative didn't submit the application. $100... gone. 6. It doesn't work. I have done 7 treatments and I was told 80% reduction but I don't even see 50% reduction. Please save you money. Try SEV in dublin or other laser locations. At my first on-site appointment, LaserAway needed to conduct a pre-screening assessment and their medical team determined I needed a Letter of Clearance from my doctors given my medical history. I am not able to get a Letter of Clearance at the time due to other health concerns. Why is this medical consultation not performed prior to taking a client's money? Now, I am not able to receive the LaserAway treatment I originally signed up for, and currently still told I am not able to receive a refund, and there are no exceptions given a medical reason. read more

This is a late review from 2020. I bought the groupon for three sessions for underarm and Brazilian. I chose this location as it seemed to have the highest reviews and most popular for locations in my proximity. I had began my treatment during the pandemic and for my first session, I thought they had given top notch quality customer service. That quickly changed with the latter two sessions. My second session I waited for over half an hour past my appointment time. The nurse who helped me was rushing me the entire time and had no communication with me whatsoever. She called my name to bring me in, lasered away my treatment areas and made me feel so rushed and uncomfortable. I also felt 0 of the sensations I am supposed to feel(the snapping of rubber bands on my skin) to ensure that the laser was doing something. My third session, I waited about 15 minutes after my appointment time before I was seen. I felt the laser did nothing for my second and third session as a month after my third session, my treatment areas looked as if I had done no laser hair removal. Meanwhile, I have been having a much better time at SEV laser, they are far friendlier, the prices are much cheaper, offices are trendier and contemporary with decor and I have seen very good results from my sessions. read more
