This is the WORST CENTER ever! They do not take calls, they are perpetually busy, they schedule appointments for over 6 weeks out and they cancel on you an hour before the appointment. Horrible place. Went here a few years and saw no improvements so I stopped. The $$$$ wasn't worth it. The ladies working there always would do a different part of my skin without double checking with me. Even if there was no hair there, they still did laser on it. It was odd. I have been extremely patient and diligent throughout my entire laser hair removal process at LaserAway, and unfortunately, I can now say with full confidence that their services are a complete scam. Despite spending thousands upon thousands of dollars and completing every single session for my face, neck, armpits, full legs, and Brazilian, the results have been nonexistent. All of my hair has grown back at the same rate, thickness, and coarseness as before--completely negating the promise of permanent hair removal or even permanent hair reduction. LaserAway heavily markets their treatments as a long-term solution, but what they fail to disclose upfront is that maintenance sessions are required indefinitely--something they only mention after you've completed your full treatment plan and start noticing that the hair is growing back. Had this been honestly communicated from the beginning, I never would have invested my money in a service that is clearly designed to keep customers locked into an endless cycle of spending. When I raised my concerns, rather than acknowledging the blatant failure of their treatments, they defaulted to excuses--blaming hormones and other vague factors, anything but the inefficacy of their lasers. It became clear that they have a script for dissatisfied customers, designed to gaslight you into believing the issue lies with you rather than their overpriced and ineffective service. Bottom line: LaserAway's laser hair removal does not work as promised. The hair returns within weeks of completing all sessions, and instead of honoring their claims, they push you to spend even more money on so-called "maintenance" sessions. If you are considering laser hair removal, do not fall for the marketing gimmicks. You are better off sticking to shaving or other methods instead of wasting thousands on a service that delivers zero real results. Be careful and protect your money--this is nothing more than an expensive scam. read more

Before you go to Laser Away San Ramon location, please do read all the 1- star reviews. The problem is real. I can't explain the level of dissatisfaction I faced when my appointment at the LaserAway San Ramon location, which was cancelled/ rescheduled at the last minute without my agreement ( the office just drop you a message over voicemail) This appointment was scheduled six weeks in advance, and I structured my availability around it. Cancelling it on such short notice due to a nurse shortage is not an acceptable reason to inconvenience a client who planned well ahead of time. If there is a Nurse  shortage, it's the Clinic's responsibility to fill in , rather than cancelling/rescheduling client's appointments over the voicemail without the confirmation of another party. Now further to the story, after spending a day talking to customer care and I was able to not to get my appointment cancelled but they out me at another time same day but again got voicemail at  6 PM that the office needs to reschedule my appointment. There is no real customer care or support. All the customer care numbers will direct you to location office which anyways was the cause of the issue. I wrote emails, I called customer care but there is no real "customer support". Nobody replied to the email, nor anyone helped resolve the issue mentioned over multiple calls. I don't who is the manager it but it's run very unprofessional. This experience reflects extremely poor planning, lack of accountability, and unprofessional customer service. A last-minute cancellation for internal staffing issues should not be pushed onto the client--especially after a six-week wait--nor should it be handled with such carelessness. I do not recommend Laser Away. I think this is a common issue with them. They cancel/modify the appointments as per their own wish without customers agreement. Last, read other reviews as well. P.S: For sure, Mr. Brian is going to drop a comment here but nobody bothered to address/comment where I was dealing with it. read more

The tattoo you get at 20 or 30 may not look as nice decades later. I've been coming for tattoo removal and it's going well. It will take about two years so I've been here multiple times with more to go. Staff are uniformly pleasant, kind and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. They are spammy with the texts and emails so prepare to get a lot. It's $$$ and hurts like a mofo to get tattoos removed, so this will be my first and last tattoo. read more

While I am happy with the treatments and quality of care from laser away in general, i am disappointed in this specific location and their failure to communicate their heavy traffic. I made an appointment for a Saturday at 12pm, they called me to reschedule (the day before) due to staffing issues, i accommodated their rescheduling for 1pm and accepted the new time although it cut into the middle of my day more. It takes me an hour to drive to this location (one way). When I arrived to the shopping center the parking was insane. I was held up multiple times by unexpected traffic and had to park on the roof of the parking garage (after stopping several times for other vehicles to leave or park) by now i was 7 minutes over my appointment time. I thought they gave a 10 minute grace period for appointments (perhaps they did years ago, it is now only 5 minutes FYI). As I was running down the stairwell to get there before the 10 minute mark i got a call from the front desk and let her know i am almost there, she said the nurse needed to take her lunch break. I said is there anyway i can be accommodated because i was delayed due to the parking situation here and will be there in less than a minute? In addition i don't take very long for the treatment that they block out (been doing this for years now). She said she would check. I arrived to laser away 30 seconds after we hung up. When i showed up the receptionist returned and let me know the nurse didn't feel comfortable rushing my appointment. I just turned around and left. I already prepaid $300 towards the appointment and they could not make accommodations for 5 minutes over the grace period. I don't know what kind of nurse that is nor do I want her touching me if she is that non-accommodating or understanding. I have since then filed a complaint on this location because given the area and high traffic (that i was unaware of because i live 1 hour away) they should at least give their customers a heads up to anticipate delays due to the bad parking situation and they should really include in their appointment text reminders of their strict rules on being 5 minutes late. People pay thousands to come here and they can't at least give them the heads up on these two items. Had i known the parking was so bad i would have made it a point to have left much earlier than i did. I wont even have time to reschedule before I go on a trip I have had planned for a year now. It's okay though, the nurse must have had a really good lunch planned.l that she could not shift it's begin time by 5 minutes.... Thanks for nothing! Also to add, walk-ins are absolutely impossible at laseraway. I've been to Walnut Creek & Dublin locations for laser sessions at Laseraway and SAN RAMON HANDS DOWN is my favorite. The entire staff here is amazing, customer service is excellent & the girls at the front desk are always happy to greet you with a smile. I started doing clear and brilliant sessions here and have zero complaints. The nurses are professional and informative, front desk gals are happy to provide additional info on packages and specials and I love that they're always timely. I've had many sessions of laser hair removal done on various areas and now only do maintenance. I'll be purchasing a package here for laser hair removal possibly for a new area. As far as hair removal, they are excellent :) Results are great and long lasting. Tip: They're all amazing at this location but go see my girl Zee. Do not come here for Botox. I had an absolutely terrible experience and was treated extremely unprofessionally by LaserAway Corporate when I asked for them to fix it. Aside from my terrible Botox incident, you will get a different new nurse every time with no consistency on your treatment. What is most disappointing is the Customer Service. They will not stand behind the results after they take your money. Customer service is not a priority. If you see 5 star reviews on Yelp, it's because LaserAway offers $50 credit if you post a 5 star review. That discredits most of these positive reviews. read more

When I've gone in for Botox Melissa was my favorite and theyare good at scheduling and great at reminding. My issue with this place is they encourage you to buy banks and packages with a series of visits and don't give a print out of your balance. I bought an IPL photo facial and used a portion of it and waited for summer to pass. When I went in to make appointments for the rest they have no trace of my package. This stuff isn't cheap and for them to lose my balance was upsetting. I told them but they didn't seem concerned and never called rectify the issue. This place is a total disappointment!!! I bought a discounted package for a full face Thermage. But then on the day of the treatment, it was a total disaster: 1) First, they said I only purchased the treatment for the eyes and upper face and NOT full face. I have no wrinkles on my forehead then why on earth would I buy an upper face treatment?!!! The technician said she couldn't really do the eyes area anyway because she didn't want to touch the area close to the eyes! I should have compared the receipt with what the sales person told me when I purchased it in the store. And yes it was an in-store purchae so I can't be the person making the mistake!!! 2) Before I purchased the Thermage package, I had told the sales person that I had a low tolerance for pain and she said "if you feel uncomfortable, I'm sure they can give you numbing cream." That was why I decided to go ahead and purchased it. But then on the day of the treatment, the teachnician said she couldn't give me numbing cream because they wanted to make sure they didn't apply too high level of heat without me being able to tell them. If that was the case, then why did the sales person say I could get it?!!! 3) I received no pre-care instruction for the procedure. Right before the treatment, the technician handed me a form with a bunch of information. The form clearly said: clients can take pain killers an hour before the treatment to help ease the pain. I was like how would I know that I could take pain killer before the treatment?! No precare instruction was sent to me at all. The technician responded "yes you can take pain killer, but only take something like Telynol." Her response made it worse because detailed pre-care instruction should have been sent to clients ahead of the procedure! They failed to do this very basic step. 4) No post-care instruction was given either. I had to ask them if I should avoid getting a facial after the procedure. And they said "yes, definitely avoid it for at least a week." Wow another surprise! What if I hadn't asked the question?!!! Again, they also failed to do this very basic step! 5) The form that the technician handed to me right before the treatment also said they would apply ice packs to ease pain. However, I was given NO icepack even when I said I felt extremely uncomfortable. 6) I almost screamed when the treatment started. It was way too hot at level 3 so I asked the technician to lower it to level 2 which she said would be the lowest level and if she went below 2 it would not be effective. It was still way too uncomfortable for me. So I asked her if she could just accomodate and give me numbing cream and only do level 2. This would have solved 2 problems: a) they won't have to worry about applying too much heat to my skin given that 2 is already the lowest level, and b) I would feel more comfortable during the treatment. However, she refused to accommodate even though she knew I was extremely uncomfortable. She could have at least given me ice packs or applied more cooling gel, but she failed to at least try to help me feel better. At that time I was too frustrated and asked her to stop the treatment and said I wanted a full refund because 1) the treatment techniques weren't right for me, 2) I didn't receice proper communication as part of the sale process 3) I didn't receive pre-care and post-care instructions which are extremely important, and 4) they refused to accomodate me or help make my experience better (e.g., they could have at least given me ice packs and put more cooling gel, etc.). It wasn't the first time I got Thermage. I had gotten thermage elsewhere 3 times both with and without numbing cream and I have never experienced anything like that!!!! However, the store declined my request and said they would only give me store credit. I already purchased the hair removal package there. I wouldn't want botox there given all of the bad reviews. I don't have any freckles and I already purchased facial packages at a medspa that I love. So No I don't want to get anything else there especially after my Thermage experience where they failed at every single level. I'm clearly forced into spending money on things that I don't need there. I have tried to call them several times to futher discuss this issue but they DIDN'T pick up or respond to my text messages. I would expect them to act more professionally and listen to what I had to say and address the issues to make the experience better for me and other clients who consider doing Thermage there. Professionalism and respect are what all clients deserve. Refusing to acknowledge and resolve customer's complaints and ignoring honest feedback isn't the right way to run a business if the goal is to succeed and stay competitive long term. Protecting the company's brand value by improving customer experience should be the center of their focus rather than scamming customers into buying their services!!! read more

Highly disappointing. Can't recommend LaserAway for anyone. I've made multiple appointments for laser removal and they have always changed my appointment last minute without checking if I am available at that time. For example, I scheduled an appointment for 2 pm on a Saturday and suddenly a few days before the appointment, they changed it to 3 pm without giving me a call. This has happened multiple times and I even "missed" my appointment because they changed it without calling me or checking if I would be available. I asked multiple times for them to call me before making any changes to my appointment and they have not. They don't respect your time here. If you value your time, you should go somewhere where they actually keep your appointment time. I would understand if there's some kind of delay in schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, but they literally just say the nurse needs a lunch break. First of all, the prices are really high. I'm probably being ripped off, but I've already paid and I'm in a position that I can afford it. Called to get a price quote about having laser hair removal on my legs. They've always been really hairy, and I'm self-conscious about it. I had laser hair removal on my arms about 10 years ago, and that was about $250 per treatment, for 3 treatments. This was $3300 for 6-8 treatments, which comes out to about $412 per treatment. When I called, they immediately wanted to do a FaceTime or phone call to "evaluate" me as a client. I reluctantly agreed, and knew it would be a sales call, not an evaluation. I was correct. They quoted the price, gave me some song and dance about a Veterans Day special discount, and then began guiding me through the loan/credit-account process. It's no-interest, so I went with it. That still felt a bit rushed and razzle dazzle, and I'm afraid some folks who really can't afford it will be convinced to say yes. Once I got to the place, I had a devil of a time finding it. The address given is a big shopping center, but there were no instructions on their website about how to find them. I got there about 20 minutes early, and started to panic when I couldn't find any door that had anything like their Suite number. I called their 800 number, and a young man gave me some bizarre directions, saying it was "next to the parking garage entrance." Turns out, there are SEVERAL entrances to the parking garage, and they're at a different one that I was standing next to. I got inside, and waited about 10 minutes. The girl brought be to a room, gave me instructions about disrobing, and left. When she came back in, she immediately said "Oh no! You shaved against the growth?" My mind raced back to a couple of reviews I'd already read during which someone warned, "If you don't shave just as they want you to, they'll send you home and make you call for another appointment." Sure enough, that's the road we were headed down. I responded, "Look, I followed your website and email's VERY confusing instructions to a T. It says to shave WITH the hair growth ONE DAY before, so that there's some regrowth." She said, "Yes, but not that much. The laser will just burn off the hair, and it won't kill the root." I said "Then you need to say that on your website. It says, 'some regrowth,' but it doesn't say, 'one day of stubble,' so I had to guess. She very much came across as if she was going to send me back home, but I stood my ground. Turns out, all she had to do was take out a safety razor and shave a few patches here and there. I'm not sure if this is part of their business model (trying to shoo people away) or what, but if it's THAT important to the process, they need to get their instructions straight and/or counsel people over the phone instead of spending the entire hour helping you fill out loan paperwork so they can get paid. I'll be going back for at least 5 more treatments, every six weeks, so I'll post updates as things progress. I'll probably be heading to a clinic that's closer to my home, though, which is one of the best things about this company; they have locations everywhere, and you can make an appointment at any of them. read more
