Tri Valley Plastic Surgery review: After extensive research and multiple consultations I ended up choosing TVPS with Dr. Steven Williams. I am so happy and satisfied so far with my results. From the consultation to day of surgery the staff and Dr. Williams have been amazing. They were always available to answer any questions, emails, or anything I needed. I never felt neglected and they always answered all my emails quickly. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Williams and he never tried to upsell me anything. At the consultation I asked for his opinion on my breasts and his reply was what did I want to achieve. It was what I wanted. He didn't push me to do this and that. That's what won me over. Another surgeon I went to was trying to push extra work on me and that was such a turn off. I ended up choosing a full tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast lift. After having two kids and the gastric sleeve that left me with excess skin and I just couldn't work it off I made the decision to do the surgery. I can only speak for myself and my experience. Just do your research and you pay what you get for. TVPS was close to home so if I had any issues it was nearby. Hearing horror stories with going out the country for surgery freaked me out. Yes it's cheaper but this is not minor surgery to take into consideration. It will take months to see final results due to swelling and bruising. If you're looking for laser hair removal.... Go elsewhere! I took my time to find a med spa that I thought wouldn't do a botched job and clearly chose wrong. From the beginning they messed up a few of my appointment times, and the nurse I originally booked with quit unexpectedly, and they never informed me until my appointment got moved and they had to call me. Small details, I was happy to keep going. I paid for 6 treatments and completed three. The first two appointments my original nurse and the (new to me) nurse Jen, used the chalk stick for markings. I never had marks following the treatments. On my third visit Jen used the dark green marking pen. Upon getting home my legs swelled, the lines completely raised, and I had multiple open burns. I emailed, and received a response that they didn't notice anything wrong. After 2 more days and no change I called, the nurse again informed me this was a "normal reaction". Once I called another clinic and asked some questions, they recommended I call back and speak to the doctor. Upon calling, they informed me the doctor wasn't available for at least 3 weeks. When I said I wanted a copy of the contract, I had burns on my legs, and I was sure this was a botched procedure they magically made time for me that same day. The doctor looked at my legs and said it was a "normal" reaction. When I said I had gotten a second opinion and these were definitely burns, he suddenly changed his perspective. He agreed they were burns, but encouraged me they would heal in time. He had me leave with a cream to try and said they wouldn't use the pen in the future. They really thought I'd be interested to keep coming back?? I then returned multiple times every 2-3 weeks to check on my legs. He kept repeating "things are heading in the right direction". They refunded me for any future appointments, and the appointment that they had burned me. However kept the money for the first and second appointment. 5 months later and I still have multiple marks on my legs that will be permanent scarring.... And I'm out the money from the first two appointments. I wish they took more ownership over this mistake and did more to understand how I felt as a patient. I wish I could give 10 stars. I am about 2 months post op from a Tummy tuck with 360 lipo, muscle repair and a fat transfer to my hips. My results are absolutely amazing, I actually can't explain how beautiful my results are. I got exactly what I asked for and more. I feel so good about myself....absolutely life changing. WARNING: Long review but very necessary. I do not like writing bad reviews, but I truly enjoyed visiting this MEDSPA up until Van left. I tried a different injector here in hopes of having someone to come to for maintenance. BIG MISTAKE!!! My last visit, I ended up with a huge blister on my bottom lip (perhaps from over injecting in same spot) I literally cried for days because it looked awful. The blister scabbed up and caused scarring on my lip. (Note: I do not have a history of cold sores) I called a day after and mentioned this to one of the girls at the front reception and she booked an appointment for a follow up in couple weeks. I didn't make it to my appointment because I was kinda traumatized. I decided not to go back because I just wasn't happy with my results the past visit and I've never had such a horrible experience ever getting my lips touched up. Some time passed and I decided I might as well go back since I had a little bit of filler left over from my last syringe. Bold right? So, I called to confirm and they tell me that I have no filler left and it was disposed of. Ok, thanks for the heads up. After overthinking and the very unpleasant experience from my last visit... I didn't make it to my appointment again. I began to search for a new injector that can correct the migrating look on my lip which I thought didn't happen with kysse. Multiple injectors recommended dissolving would be best for me atp. FF: I call the medspa to see if they can dissolve my filler considering it's their work and the amount of inconveniences I've experienced. I could just sense the attitude from the moment Alexis answered the phone. (You know when someone just has a bad attitude but trying to sound polite and upbeat at the same time. Eww) Smh. I would highly recommend this Med Spa! More specifically: Denise! I've been seeing Denise, RN for the past 1.5 years for several different treatments. I've had lip fillers, Botox, Dysport and Daxify all done solely by Denise. I was nervous about having my lips done, but Denise has the most gentle hands! There is numbing cream, so I didn't feel much, but even when I did feel a pinch or some pain it was very limited. Denise continually assessed and checked in with me throughout all the treatments. Another reviewer wrote: "Almost 2yrs later, I still cringe every time I look at the scars Dr. Steven Williams left me with". This is EXACTLY how I feel and in the same time frame. Before my surgery, I saw a couple bad reviews where he put in larger implants than requested. I decided to put more weight on the positive reviews. Big mistake. I originally came to him because my surgeons retired, and I wanted my implants out. All the new surgeons I consulted said over time there would be a decompression where the old implants once were. So a replacement was recommended, but I could go smaller. Going smaller came with a recommendation of a lift too. I chose Dr. Williams, but I called him out on those bad reviews and directly said at every single appointment and right before going under: "I can't stress enough...smaller, smaller, smaller". I woke up with larger implants than I had before. It takes one really sick human to take a patient's money and alter their body the way YOU think it should be. Also, if bigger implants were put in, then the lift was completely unnecessary. That means not only did I not need to deal with these huge boulders, but the Mrs. Frankenstein jagged scars and mangled nipples I now have were also not necessary. He was very dismissive and too "busy" to be bothered with my questioning during follow up appts. The loser needed to get on to the next sucker. Dr. Williams is taking advantage of women, the gender that tends to remain quiet, and our lack of knowledge on how to adequately report him. I read Dr. was the president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. How in the world does that happen? Good marketing of himself? Clearly we can all ignore what that organization says as they are clueless. It's worth mentioning that before surgery, I saw online some remnants of a former practice in Oakland with really, REALLY bad reviews. It looked like maybe something bad happened, and the Dr. decided to start fresh by moving his practice and hiring a really good PR firm to scrub the internet of that old business? Again, I chose to rely on the positive reviews for the confirmed business. I wish I'd listened to my gut. So, please, take the bad reviews for Dr. Williams and double their weight. I think their marketing person is a master at getting rid of all the new bad reviews. You can forget the med spa too. What a mess. I tolerated them for several years because I was too busy to look for someone else. They're messiness is demonstrated by the high employee turnover. They can't keep people, and they don't want to pay for experienced front desk coordination. Daniel and Tarika were the only employees who actually did good work, but they left recently. I want to start off by recognizing the entire staff at Tri-Valley Plastics. From the reception, to the PA's to the Coordinators and the many other's I interacted with! Every interaction I had was warm, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and most of all COMFORTABLE. I had a breast AUG revision, performed by Dr. Williams. My 23 year old implants were still pretty, however after time, weight loss and children, they were no longer my favorite asset. I didn't want a lift, I was insecure about scarring; Dr. Williams talked to me about switching up the style of implant I had and that if I added volume, aka increase the size, that I could forego a lift. Man, best advice ever. Let's get this out of the way, THEY TURNED OUT PERFECT! He asked me to give him 3 "wish list" photos and the end result is DEAD ON! Now let's rewind time... at my consult he made me so comfortable that I left there telling my best friend (who referred me) how much I liked his personality. Honestly, I wish he was my personal friend; he is funny, honest and doesn't try to up-sell you or take advantage. I asked him to fill me full of wrinkle filler while I was under the knife and do you know what he did, saved me probably a few thousand dollars by being honest. He could have said sure Jen, you are going to need 5 syringes at XXX each, but instead he offered Erbium lasering which is supposed to last years rather than months (fillers) and was probably half the cost. (it takes a few months for the magic to happen as my skin repairs itself, I promise to write a review on that procedure after that magic happens). On the morning of my surgery I had the sweetest and self proclaimed "IV whisperer" Nurse. I have horrible veins that ALWAYS blow, in fact, at my last surgery they blew so many times that the anesthesiologist had to insert my IV. Anyways, she got it on the first try and although you wouldn't know it based on all my tattoos, I am terrified of needles. Getting it on the first shot meant the world to me, honestly, my fear of needles is awful! Surgery itself was flawless, so flawless I slept through it, wink. Ok- I cheated, I unwrapped my new purchase two days before my post op, but I do not regret it, I got to receive happiness two days early. They turned out so perfect. They look exactly like my wish list photos I sent him prior to surgery. I know he gets about a dozen people thanking him a day, but I can't thank him enough. Beyond how they look (perfect to me) what really matters is how I now feel inside. I was so insecure, I was so angry with myself for gaining and losing weight and I was so angry because I had convinced myself I had no options but a lift which would have made me just as insecure. Now I am happy, I feel pretty, I am excited again. I know looks are not everything, but I guess for me It was just something special I could do for myself after 5 children and letting myself go. I was thankfully recommended to Tri Valley Plastic Surgery's Med Spa by Aria PA-C. Scheduling with the kind associates at the front desk was easy and quick. After scheduling I even received reminder emails about my appointments. The first appointment was a consult and I had all of my questions answered by RN Jen. I purchased a package of three sessions and received a discount on the services. The laser hair removal procedure was performed during different sessions by RN Jen and RN Denise. They were both very professional and kept checking in with me during the procedure. During the sessions, I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep! The Med Spa has a cooling air machine that they use with the laser to remedy any discomfort. I was able to change into a medical gown, the procedure chair was cozy, I wore special glasses to protect my eyes, and there was lovely music playing overhead. After my naps, I mean the procedures, RN Jen and RN Denise cleaned the white eyeliner pencil markings off of my skin (used to break the areas up into smaller sections) and reviewed care instructions in great detail. They answered any questions I had and advised me to call or email with any questions or concerns. Post-procedures, I had no redness, inflammation, or pain. This review is for the med spa part of this business. Was looking for a local place to get a hydrafacial. I did a search online and found this I could get one here by a "highly qualified" esthetician so I booked it. On arrival I was greeted by a maskless but friendly desk person (sign on outside door states masks required). Not a huge deal. She had me fill out the customary spa paperwork. Instead of letting me wait comfortably in the waiting room, I was then taken to the treatment room to wait. The room was bland, no chair just a table bed. So I sat waiting, 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time for my qualified esthetician to arrive. With all of that time to wait in the treatment room, I had nothing better to do than look around, like really look. I'm a nurse, cleanliness/sanitation is very important to me. The room was dusty, and the hydrafacial machine was not very clean (see images). I should have walked out at this point, but I didn't. My mistake. My treatment provider finally arrived and introduced herself. She seemed generally disinterested in being there. She asked me if I wanted regular or enhanced treatment. I asked what she meant and she responded by asking what do I normally get? I said whatever is recommended by the expert. She said ok probably the regular then. No skin assessment. She asked me to lay down on the table which I did. My hair was loose. No headband or anything to protect my hair or clothing. She started the facial. Acid peel solution pouring down my neck, splashing over my eyes. Finally she offered a headband (my hair was getting in the way) and a face towel to dab the solution out of my eyes. I tried to engage her in conversation about what she was doing to my face (trying to determine her level of experience/expertise). Low and behold, she is not an esthetician. Turns out, they don't have a qualified esthetician anymore. I have had about 30 hydra facials in my lifetime and have gone to multiple different spas. This is the first time I have ever had a disappointing experience. 24 hours later I have a small broken capillary on my face and my skin looks worse than when I went in. I would not recommend this med spa for a hydra facial or anything requiring an esthetician. I can't speak to any other treatments offered which is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. read more

What a beautiful and professional office. Easy to locate as well. I've visited the office before. This was my 3rd consultation. The first one was in 2023 with a Dr that doesn't work there anymore. The other two were this year 2024 recently with Dr Williams. I appreciate the fact the office doesn't charge for consultations. Dr Williams was patient, kind, professional and explained what my breast lift revision and breast implant exchange would entail. I expressed to him what I wanted and what I'd like to look like. He takes that in consideration however he also makes sure it's going to fit my frame. I've had 3 consultations by 3 different board certified plastic surgeons (everyone should do this before settling). Down to the wire I had some last minute questions for Dr Williams. I called his office and again they were fabulous! They said you have some really good questions, let's bring you in again. Once again excellent visit. Questions answered. When going through something like this to alter our bodies remember it's your money that's being spent. You have the right to question and probe. Other than a chance of not having 100% outcome you'd like (there's always that possibility), you can at least do your due diligence. I look forward to my procedure and outcome. Back in 2015, Dr. Williams was supposed to remove my old breast implants and then reduce the size of my breasts by using a smaller implant. After the surgery, I couldn't understand why my breasts were larger than before. His then office manager let it slip that he gave me a larger size implant than I originally had...he then agreed to do another surgery and use a smaller implant. I felt pretty traumatized but agreed to the surgery. The office then informed me that I would have to pay another $1,600.00 for the use of the surgery center. I told them I didn't think I should have to pay since it was their mess up, and I'd have to take more time off work. Dr. Williams made me feel so uncomfortable on my day of surgery...he didn't even speak to me. He just glared at me. I was so relieved after my surgery that my breasts were reduced, but it looked like I had been in a war zone. I'm not sure what happened, but I have terrible scars from the surgery that are still present to this day...8 years later. Even his assistant at the time suggested I get laser treatment for the scarring. It's been a long time, but I wanted to share my experience. read more

My 1st and only follow up with Dr. Williams was horrible, I guess he was informed I wasn't happy and was extremely mean, he is arrogant and has this attitude, like how dare you say your not happy with his work. I wish I never would have gone here, I later found out there was a procedure to remove my excess skin that wouldn't have left any scars. But of course it's too late now. Oh and by the way, I never went back after the one and only follow up and no on ever bothered to call and follow up with me again. Over all I had an awful experience with my breast lift and augmentation here. I had implants with a lift, and the results were not good at all with Dr. Makwana. My breasts were uneven, nipples were so high and off to the side. I had lots of trouble healing and was never even given advice on how to help or handle it. They would just say use aquaphore and wait... if it wasn't for my friend who is a nurse that helped me I can't imagine how bad I would have healed. When I tried to schedule a post op to talk about a revision, I was informed Dr. Makwana was no longer there, so Dr. Williams ended up doing my lift revision. At no cost which was great, but I'm Still left uneven, horribly scarred, and my nipples are uneven and embarrassingly high. I was always treated like my complaints and concerns seemed to get brushed off and were not listened to. After talking with dr. Williams about my options, I felt like I was just stuck with this awful result, because he didn't seem to think my complaint's a problem. I am now going to a new surgeon to fix all of this mess. He was shocked at what I've been left with and what I was expected to accept. I now have to have another lift done to help relocate the nipples and remove the awful scarring. I can't even begin to tell you the physical and emotional trauma I have had to go through, and still have to deal with. I do not recommend coming here. I wouldn't dare let this surgeon do a revision again, I don't care that he wouldn't charge to fix it, I will happily pay another surgeon to fix this. read more

I got Botox done by Denise Leon. She did a bit of Botox on my crow lines 4 weeks ago. My eye have been twitching ever since. The results are no the best either. Don't go to her. On the other hand the front desk staff are nice. read more

I have been coming here for over 3 years! They have a beautiful spacious office with its own surgery center. They have an amazing esthetician that has years of experience and offers all kinds of facials. I also buy my amazing skin care from her! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Van! She does all my Botox, laser hair removal and fillers!!! She listens to exactly what you want and also gives suggestions to amplify your desired looks! She explains everything while she is doing it with minimal or most of the time no pain (although beauty is pain sometimes lol) I have seen 100% hair gone in the areas she has lasered and nice wrinkle free plumped up skin You can tell how much she loves her job and making people feel better about themselves. I got a breast augmentation nearly 8 years ago from Dr. Williams. I have waited many years to write this review as it's important to get feedback on the procedure after things have healed and set in place over time. I was young and naive at the time of my initial surgery and I feel like that was taken advantage of. I was not alerted of the repercussions of my decisions around incision type, implant type or placement. I was 18 at the time and no one stopped to tell me that I could impact my ability to breast feed, Dr. Williams went ahead with an areolar incision. I deeply regret that now as my ability to breast feed in the future has been ruined. I wish someone would have warned me. My skin is also very thin and the implants are visually poking out. The initial surgery did not go perfectly. About a year after, I went back to Dr. Williams because scar tissue formed and contorted the implant. Dr. Williams was kind enough to perform a removal/replacement at no cost to me. Now, many years later, that same side is having issues. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. This surgery was intended to make me feel my greatest. Now it is the center around my biggest insecurity and is also causing tremendous physical discomfort. read more
