Dr. Hisaka is absolutely the BEST! I've had to have repeated breast augmentations over 50 years due to encapsulation, accidents, etc. (7 or 8 total) so, unfortunately, I have a lot of experience. I can honestly say, no doctor has even come close to doing such a great job! My breasts finally look and feel natural to the touch and fit my body size. I could not be happier with the results and I never experienced any discomfort even immediately after the surgery. He is professional, personable, and obviously cares a lot about his patients. I saved for years for my mommy makeover. I had encapsulated implants from many years prior and extra skin from 3 pregnancies. My goal was shape, not size. Dr Hisaka assured a larger implant was my best option and to avoid the scars of a lift. I also had a tummy tuck and lipo. I love Dr Hisaka. His bedside manner, his staff...cannot be beat. Love them. Sadly, I do not love my results. My breast are loose and now much bigger and heavier, not enough lipo and not in the correct areas and my belly button was re-sewn terribly. Looks like a child stitched it. I can not bare my newly tucked stomach due to the horrible stitching scars. All around it has been a complete disappointment. I had one shot ($) and look different but in no way better. This was a couple years back and because I like him so much it broke my heart to think to post this but as I live with these results, I feel guilty not being honest. I also note that after my first few follow up appointments, I called to see when I needed to come back. Beware! Eric Hisaka MD was the medical director of Dermalounge Med Spas (SF and Burlingame) that closed wihtout notice in Oct. Phones and websites were disconnected and a note was posted on the door of the SF location. Customers arrived for appointments and found the business locked and closed. Many customers with pricey pre-purchased packages were left without recourse. According to yelp reviews, Dermalounge was still selling prepaid packages days before the closing. I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Hisaka about 5 months ago, and let me just tell you that trusting him was the worst mistake. A year before getting a rhinoplasty by him I had a septoplasty by a different surgeon to fix my deviated septum. That surgery went very well and I was so happy to be able to breathe super clearly, however my nose still leaned to one side since septoplasty procedures don't change the appearance of your nose. I have always been insecure with my nose because it's asymmetrical at the tip, so I saved up my money to have it fixed. I called and made an appointment a month in advance to have a consultation for a tip rhinoplasty. This piece of information will be important later on. Apparently Dr. Hisaka specializes in noses which is why I trusted him, however I find it very hard to believe after having countless amounts of issues with my nose post-op. A year ago I asked my septoplasty surgeon about the tip of my nose and if the procedure would straighten it out. He told me that a tip rhinoplasty would fix it, not a septoplasty, which is why I went to see Dr. Hisaka a year after my septoplasty procedure. I told him this and he said it would be an easy fix. I also had a dorsal hump and Dr. Hisaka recommended to shave down the bump a little bit while he was already doing the tip procedure. I agreed. However, the dorsal hump was never my main concern as the tip of my nose was supposed to be the primary focus. While Dr. Hisaka and I were looking at my nose and discussing what I wanted to have done, he said that he would shave down the dorsal hump on my nose which would lift up the tip. I told Dr. Hisaka that it wouldn't work and explained what my septoplasty surgeon told me, which was that the tip of my nose was deviated and the cartilage inside needed to be straightened out. He said he understood what I meant and told me that it was going to be a very easy procedure and tried to comfort me by saying he was going to take good care of me and that we were "friends now." I found this to be a bit odd and was skeptical, however I trusted Dr. Hisaka. Also, Dr. Hisaka said that he usually charges $6,000 for a rhinoplasty procedure, but he said that since the changes to my nose would be so minimal that he would do it for $3,800. I was paying for the surgery myself, so I was very happy to hear this offer and excitingly took it. Fast forward to after the surgery: Dr. Hisaka did exactly what I told him not to do. Once my cast was removed, I was mortified, but Dr. Hisaka acted like he did a very good job and did what I asked. He shaved down my dorsal hump EXTREMELY when I asked him only to shave it a little since he was already bringing the tip up. He didn't fix the deviated cartilage in the tip of my nose, so the tip of my nose wasn't fixed and I wasted my money. The tip of my nose was so crooked that a piece of cartilage was sticking out of one nostril. I told him I was concerned and he cut it off and tried to drag my nose over to the other side with some stitches. This left me with a scar that is still present and very obvious on the middle of my nose which he said would be gone in a week. I told him my concerns and that I wasn't happy since the tip wasn't straight, and he told me that I was going to need a revision rhinoplasty. This made me extremely angry as he was supposed to focus on the tip, but he was lazy and arrogant and didn't listen to me when I told him that the cartilage in the tip of my nose was deviated. He then gaslit me and told me "You are obsessing too much over it. You are missing out on your life." Which I didn't appreciate AT ALL since I went in to get the tip of my nose done, and he didn't do it. I can't breath now, word count lim almost reached otherwise I'd explain more, but don't go to him unless you are getting an easy procedure done such as botox. Dr. Hisaka is incapable of performing complicated tasks and listening to his patients concerns. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR BEFORE AND AFTER PICS OF OTHER PEOPLE, BECAUSE HE HAS NONE THAT ARE SUCCESSFUL AND WONT SHOW YOU! I'm saw a different doctor and they told me that the tip cartilage is still deviated and I need to wait a year to have it fixed. Find a professional, because Dr. Hisaka is sketchy and will stop communicating with you if you aren't happy with HIS results. read more

He did a flawless job, and I had to return recently after an accident which split my forehead open and left me with an unsightly scar. After meeting Eric Hisaka for the first time I knew he understood my needs.. I had a Blepharoplasty, upper eye lid surgery for my drooping eye lids. I got reffered by a friend and went there for lipinjection. I called before and asked for prices twice and both times i didnt get a clear answer. Once i was told $250-300 for one syringe and the second time $200-$250! Anyways i went there thinking about $200 and his office looked very creepy and old. He injected more than half syringe of restylane for $200. Two days later when it wasnt swollen anymore my lips looked like usual. So i called and she said he will take care of it when u come back. So i went for the second time and he injected another half or more of one syringe. I had to pay $50 all of a sudden for touch up Same thing 5 days later its back to normal. So i called and i said how long again is it suppose to last the receptionist lady stacey said 8-9 months which should be true since i had it done before at another office. I said do i get a gurantee or money back since it didnt last one week in a row she told me hold on. DR HISAKA talked to me on the phone saying maybe ur body absorbs fillers and i said no it doesnt i had it done before so i want my money back. Suddenly he tells me he didnt use a syringe for that i would have to pay another $200. I said then why give me wrong promises and wrong information he said maybe she didnt know.
