I had discovered Dr. Afshin on Instagram and he was a name that mentioned quite often when inquiring about a plastic surgeon. It was very easy to get an appointment with his office and his front desk were very sweet and helpful. From the day I went in for a consultation Dr.AFSHIN was a complete professional, attentive, and a sweetheart. He would always start the appointment with asking what I wanted to achieve and what were my concerns and this was evident because my rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery with him turned out beautifully and exactly how I wanted. If I had questions or felt myself second guessing he kept an open line communication and was very easy to get ahold of. One of the best qualities about Dr. Afshin which I found other plastic surgeons lacked was he was completely honest about what he could achieve and what would look the best on my face. He's not a trend follower and he wants what would look the best on the individual and he makes sure to voice that. He truly makes sure to understand what the goal is and what changes would need to be made. On the day of the surgery he finalized and we went over the what my goals were and showed him last minute photos. The recovery of the surgery was great and pain free. As I said he would give out his number so he was very easy to get ahold of. I went back to him after a week and removed the cast on my nose and the Stiches on my eyelid and now I am 4 months post op and could not be happier with my results. I had liposuction and rhinoplasty from Dr. Parhiscar. Firstly, you'll be waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour to be seen after your in office appointment time. I've had at least 1 dozen follow up appointments and this was not an isolated issue. I had to leave at least once after 1 hour and drive another 30 minutes back home. After the surgery, I was sent home in an ill fitting compression garment with no padding selected by Dr Parhiscar. This created a deep and long crease in the area and was told that by the Dr and staff and it would go away after time. Not only did it not go away after time but it was clear he'd done a terrible liposuction procedure leaving me with a lumpy and bumpy stomach which Dr Parhiscar attempted to minimize and disregard. For my rhinoplasty I wanted my bridge straightened and tip lifted which he did not do. I also now have an inexplicable nasal tip and nostril pressure and lump on one side that is extremely aggravating and bothersome. When I lay on my side one side of my nose tip and one nostril droop and move, not the other one. I also couldn't breathe clearly from my other nostril since the rhinoplasty to which Dr Parhiscar blamed on "allergies" and suggested taking "Claritin". He offered to do a revision on both for free plus the cost of the anesthesiologist and I stupidly accepted but he still didn't correct what he ruined. My body is ruined and I have no idea how to get it fixed. He's only offered to do yet another revision which is clear is his way of learning on the job. He doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to liposuction nor rhinoplasty and I'm devastated at the outcome caused by this person. He has a nice bedside manner but do not allow that to sway your search for a surgeon. He also has a malpractice case in another state. There have been many other alarming details but I'm hoping what I've included in this review now is impactful enough for someone to reconsider paying tens of thousands of dollars to deform your body as he did mine. read more

I had a Rhinoplasty with this doctor in 2017 and he gave me a horrible result. I was left with terrible alar base scarring around my nostrils. I went back to him a year later (after healing) asking for my money back. He declined and said that the scars looked natural and said that he could not even see it. The pictures I attached here clearly show the scarring and the asymmetry in the incision. He offered that I could purchase filler from him to try to hide the scarring. He also offered to do my surgery again with a fee. I declined. I showed my result to other surgeons, one at Stanford who was shocked by how poorly the incisions around my nostrils were made. He said he could not do anything to fix it. Every doctor I showed this result to said the incisions were poorly made. I saw some other reviews for this doctor on real self and saw some poor results. I underwent rhinoplasty with Dr. Parhiscar about three months ago. My nose looks better than I could have ever imagined, and I can honestly say this surgery changed my life. I couldn't be happier with my entire experience, and most importantly the results. I was particularly nervous about the recovery from rhinoplasty, but it was much easier than I had pictured. Dr. Parhiscar informed me that the packing is only left in for a maximum of one night, and the majority of his patients have it removed in the recovery room. I was extremely relieved when my packing was removed shortly after I woke up from my procedure. A few of the other doctors I looked at kept packing in for up to a week after surgery, which to me, seemed intolerable. I wish I had seen Dr. Parhiscar before getting work done with another doctor. I made a consultation with Dr. P after my results from a previous surgery were not satisfactory. He told me to wait before my scar fully reached its maturation process before considering anything drastic as the body's healing powers do take time. He even brought me back for another visit (a second consultation, if you will) to check for progress. During our first conversation, he explained how he would have done the stitching which aligned with what I would have wanted after doing my own research. Wish I had paid him a visit before my surgery... Even though I only saw Dr. P briefly twice, I definitely recommend him for a consultation (it's free) at the very least. The outcome of my first procedure was not what I expected so I opted for a revision to remove scar tissue, change profiles, size, and suture material. I am much happier with the second result. Everyone heals different. This time I had little to no internal scar tissue. More symmetrical and the incision scars have healed much better and have not keloid as much. I received compliments after the first procedure but three months post op with the second procedure the results are amazing! This review is at overdue. I found Dr. Pahriscar off on Instagram originally. I had looked through loads of surgeons for my nose, but was disappointed in what I was finding. Most surgeons either had either cookie cutter nose they posted or a nose that dramatically altered the patient's face into someone completely different. I wanted a surgeon who leaned on the natural side of the spectrum. He is the one! I immediately booked a consultation ( which is free ) over the phone with Melinda who is so sweet and helpful. I came in and spewed all of my concerns. "I want to look like myself, but this fixed" "I don't want my nose raised up" "I would like to make this part smaller" Dr. Pahriscar listened to all my concerns and was completely open to any suggestions I had. He even showed me an image of what my nose would look like and provided two different options. It was so much easier deciding when I actually had a copy of what my nose would look like. I can not rave about this place enough. I refer anyone who asks to them, and even have my best friend coming in later this month for her consultation.
