However, after sending my most recent email and not receiving a response back for over Six days I decided to post this review. I've been increasingly seeing the lack of customer service enthusiasm since people have been getting back to work after Covid. But it's worse than previous average customer service that you would receive. It just seems like people could care less to be back at work, in the customer service realm, and there's no effort to help. There's no effort to resolve problems in a timely fashion. There's just no remembrance a pleasant experience. And I see the lower level customer service people tend to be new and in the training phase a lot. But I sent an email to who would be a little higher up the chain and consider to be in a coordinator position in email asking a basic question. As I've done previously. I still have not gotten a basic response. Yes or no. That's really all that is required. And I would think if you were spending thousands of dollars with a company and they are working on your physical being, there would be a bit more urgency to respond. A non response could affect your potential outcome of a procedure. The lack of response is unprofessional at this level where you advertise yourself on a commercial to be one of the best. You're in the healthcare field. As I myself am, so I take direct hits when I interact with people who are in the healthcare profession and they lack compassion, drive, expertise of their field and COMMUNICATION. All in all, I am almost a month postop, I am gradually seeing results. I pray that my results of my physical body does not reflect in any capacity the rating that I am giving the customer service. Or there will be another review three months from now, six months from now when the healing process is supposedly complete. honestly if the service was better in San Jose or Sacramento, I would happily drive the 45 minutes to 2 hour for better customer service alone. I called their office more than three times, seeking clarification on my billing, and each time I was assured that I would receive a callback with the information I needed. Unfortunately, those callbacks never materialized, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. When I finally reached out again, the representative I spoke with was noticeably upset with me for calling. I was taken aback, as I had every right to seek clarity regarding my charges, particularly since I didn't end up receiving all the procedures I initially scheduled. It felt completely unjust that my inquiries were met with irritation rather than assistance. Moreover, I encountered significant issues regarding my medical clearance. The day before my surgery, I was informed that they hadn't received the cardiologist's letter necessary for my procedure. This was alarming, as I had followed up to ensure all documentation was in order beforehand. After some time, they finally located the letter, but the stress and uncertainty this caused were completely unnecessary. Overall, the staff exhibited a level of unprofessionalism that I have never experienced before in a medical setting. Their lack of organization and poor communication left me feeling anxious and undervalued as a patient. Given my experience, I strongly advise against spending your money here. There are certainly better options available that prioritize patient care and communication.

I had breast cancer in 2010 and Dr. Wotowic did a double mastectomy with reconstruction due to…read morebreast cancer (5 surgeries in 15 months for that), surgery in 2017 to replace ruptured Mentor silicone implants, and another surgery in 2025 to replace 2 more Mentor implants that were ruptured. While the silicone implants by Mentor ruptured (don't use Mentor implants as 3 out of 4 silicone implants have ruptured in less than 14 years, Dr. Wotowic always did a fantastic job. For the Oct 2025 surgery I decided to try out another plastic surgeon (Dr. Vivian Ting in WC), but after 3 meetings with her I ended right back with Dr. Wotowic. Ting was rude to my husband and I, doesn't know the law about cancer and breast implants and wouldn't help me make a decision when I asked her. She also submitted something to insurance that wasn't true and blamed me for it. Anyway, I will never go to another plastic surgeon again. Dr. Wotowic listened to me, took copious notes about my complicated history with implants, silicone and rheumatoid arthritis and was very kind, professional and respectful of both me and my husband. He reassured me about insurance coverage when Ting could not and did exactly what I asked (swapped silicone for saline, made them smaller since I am older now) and took care of everything quickly and efficiently. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Wotowic and his staff. When I first got my implants in 2010-2011, my general surgeon raved about and referred me to Dr. Wotowic and told me how all his patients were so happy after surgery. If you want someone who is intelligent, knows what they are doing, is an expert in their field and will do a fantastic job, then go with Dr. Wotowic (just don't use Mentor silicone implants). He has great bedside manner, will help breast cancer patients in their time of overwhelming distress and make breast surgery a little easier.
