About 10 years ago, Dr. Lavey performed what was supposed to be a simple dermabrasion procedure on…read moremy face. Before the procedure, he spoke proudly about his hand technique being more skilled than using a laser machine. Unfortunately, my experience was devastating. The procedure removed layers of skin much more deeply than I expected, and the skin never recovered properly. I was left with permanent scarring and have spent more than 10 years trying to correct the damage and improve the appearance of my face. During my recovery, I was also asked to backdate a release so that he could continue treating me. I found that request deeply troubling and inappropriate. What makes this especially difficult is that I have to see the results every day when I look in the mirror. A procedure that I believed would be simple has had a lasting impact on my appearance and my life. I understand that complications can happen with medical procedures, but my experience has been extremely difficult, and I feel that the depth of the dermabrasion and the resulting scarring were not what I consented to or expected.

For years, I had a wonderful doctor who listened carefully and used just enough filler to correct…read morethe issue without overfilling. Since that doctor retired, it has been difficult to find someone who truly respects and listens to a patient's concerns. I went to Dr. Ting specifically to have a crease beside my lip filled. I had successfully treated this area before, so I clearly explained what had and had not worked for me. I specifically asked him not to inject the filler diagonally toward my lip because, in my experience, this creates an overhang. I explained that placing a small amount beside the lip in a more rounded area had previously filled the crease without causing that problem. I was also not given a mirror during the injections. Had I been able to see where the filler was being placed, I might have recognized what was happening and spoken up before the procedure was completed Unfortunately, he did exactly what I had asked him not to do. As shown in the photo, the original crease was not corrected, and I am now left with a diagonal, sagging-looking line where the filler was placed. I can feel the filler along that line when I place my fingers inside my cheek. On the other side, I was left with a lump below my mouth, and I do not understand what that placement was intended to correct. .Although Dr. Ting is a dermatologist, this experience left me questioning his expertise with cosmetic filler placement. Correcting the result may require additional filler or hyaluronidase to dissolve the existing filler, neither of which is an ideal option. I paid nearly $800 for this procedure, and instead of seeing an improvement, I feel that my appearance has been negatively altered. I am extremely disappointed and feel disfigured.

And at sonobello would have been the 3rd time, so I was very scared and under a lot of stress. The previus doctor from a completely different clininc not related with SB, did a botched job on my belly, since tummy tack was not his real expertise, so I came here at Sono Bello with hopes and fears. I did not want a tummy tack, I did not need one, I just wanted a lipo and skin incvision and using local anestesia, whioch is exactly what they offer. Doctor Minayev is amazing and he is very very good at what he does. The medicines they gave me were perfect and even if not a full anestesia, I fell asleep and woke up at the end of surgery just like a total anestesia. Minimal pain and discomfort, way less than the 2 times the other surgeon from SF botched my tummy. I am now at almost 3 months? maybe less. but the scar is great, results are perfect and I couldn't be happier...finally...the 3rd time was the charm I guess

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this customer service, which I feel compelled to…read moreshare. From the outset, it was clear that their primary focus seemed to be on money rather than providing quality service. One major issue was the lack of a proper invoice detailing the charges I incurred. I called their office more than three times, seeking clarification on my billing, and each time I was assured that I would receive a callback with the information I needed. Unfortunately, those callbacks never materialized, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. When I finally reached out again, the representative I spoke with was noticeably upset with me for calling. I was taken aback, as I had every right to seek clarity regarding my charges, particularly since I didn't end up receiving all the procedures I initially scheduled. It felt completely unjust that my inquiries were met with irritation rather than assistance. Moreover, I encountered significant issues regarding my medical clearance. The day before my surgery, I was informed that they hadn't received the cardiologist's letter necessary for my procedure. This was alarming, as I had followed up to ensure all documentation was in order beforehand. After some time, they finally located the letter, but the stress and uncertainty this caused were completely unnecessary. Overall, the staff exhibited a level of unprofessionalism that I have never experienced before in a medical setting. Their lack of organization and poor communication left me feeling anxious and undervalued as a patient. Given my experience, I strongly advise against spending your money here. There are certainly better options available that prioritize patient care and communication.

I had liposuction done by Dr. Stompro in July of 2023. Leading up to the liposuction, I had some…read moredoubts specifically caused by one of the "medical" staff not knowing how to take a blood pressure? I'm a bigger lady and, because of that, need the bigger blood pressure cuff. The woman who took my blood pressure in the office used a small blood pressure cuff, causing a false reading of high blood pressure because it was severely constricting my arm. When I mentioned to her that I'm just fat but don't have high blood pressure, she just shrugged me off and told me to go to my doctor every few days to have my blood pressure checked leading up to the surgery. My doctor, being an actual medical professional, took my blood pressure correctly and determined that I did not have high blood pressure and immediately questioned if the woman that attempted to first take my blood pressure was even a doctor. Hilarious, inconvenient, but ultimately no big deal. My surgery date came and went and I immediately noticed afterward that I was having issues holding my pee. I mentioned this to the "medical" staff at Dr Stompro's office and they informed me that this is normal after surgery and that it should go away with time. When it didn't, I brought it up again and one of the "medical" staff at Dr. Stompro's office pointed out that it may be because of weakness in my abdomen or because of fat putting pressure on my bladder?? I don't know, whatever. So I continue on. I ignored it, I tried to treat it, and here we are. Y'all, I'm THREE YEARS past the surgery and I'm not even 30 and I'm still incontinent from this surgery. I've gone to a urologist that was too fat-phobic to even try to diagnose me, a physical therapist that figured it had to be because my pelvic floor was weak (then she determined it isn't), and another specialist that has finally determined that it may be a nerve issue (further testing needed). All we know is that I wasn't incontinent before the surgery and I am now. I called Dr. Stompro's office recently for the paperwork associated with my surgery so that I can pass it along to the specialist to see if it helps to determine a cause of the incontinence (and thus a fix) and the front desk person was rude for no reason?? I think she assumed I was getting the paperwork to sue?? I'm sure they all know I would have been able to sue because, and I cannot express this enough, INCONTINENCE IS NOT AN EXPECTED OUTCOME FOR LIPOSUCTION. Look, if I weren't outside of the statute of limitations I WOULD sue but, since I am, I just want to stop being incontinent. I'm still fat after my liposuction, which I don't mind! I'm soft and shapely and I love that, I just want to stop peeing on myself randomly. I'm now leaving reviews everywhere and filing a complaint against this office - I spent nearly $15,000 to be incontinent for potentially the rest of my life. I'd recommend another office, another doctor, another everything.

After the procedure with that surgeon my left eyelid would not close all the way at night. I was told it was an involuntary thing I was doing at night and not the result of my procedure. I saw a few plastic surgeons before Dr. Wotowic and none of them wanted to perform any surgery to correct the problem. Dr. Wotowic identified the problem right away, performed the surgery and I am happy to report my eyelid problem was fixed. Years of suffering with my eye drying out while I slept ended.
