I stopped the program for about a year because I had a successful fertility treatment and had a baby. Once I felt ready to come back, I returned in July of 2021 to restart the program. My second time on the program I lost 30 lbs. The staff that I saw on a regular basis is Melissa, Maureen and Priscilla. I want to start off by saying they are wonderful individuals. They have always been very kind and considerate towards me. Often times I didn't have anyone to watch my infant son and they were very understanding towards me and allowed me to bring him into the office for my appointments. Some things to consider: 1) The hours. They are only open a few days a week with limited hours so you have to be really flexible with your hours to get an appointment. Luckily once you get a certain you are often able to keep that same time slot for awhile, but it doesn't always happen that way. 2) Communication. A) There have been times where I have had something come up with work or had a family emergency so I had to cancel my appointment. Even calling days before and leaving a message, asking for a call back and I don't receive one. 3) Processing Monthly Payments- This is supposed to be automatic and it never is. Every single month I literally had to chase someone down to make sure my payment is taken care of. Especially for how much I was paying for the "VIP" membership, you would think they'd have a streamlined system for those automatic payments. I was always told "it's our new system" but for how long can you blame the new system. The do switch their systems quite a bit too, which is a problem more on their IT side and not the office itself. Overall, I enjoyed my time at JumpStartMD. I wish there was a tele-health option for people who move out of the area. They said it's something they are hoping to get into. When they do, hopefully I can come back. Until then I am able to continue with the healthy habits that they helped me form.

I've gotten good treatments here. The problem is the front desk staff's lack of knowledge and…read moreconsistency. Every time I deal with them, I have to anticipate problems or advocate for myself. I bought a package and planned out what I treatments I would get over the course of six months, and the front desk lost the plan...twice. Prescriptions were sent to the wrong address. I once emailed with a question about extending my plan and never heard back, only to be told *I* made the mistake not knowing that the person I emailed had left the company. (I was also told that there was no way for them to know that I had emailed and there's no system for forwarding emails sent to employees who have left, which is utter B.S.) Other times I've called and tried to get help on something basic, only to get a "we won't do that " from the front desk -- I had to go to management for something that should have been an immediate "sure," especially for someone who had shelled out thousands of dollars for a "membership." Front desk staff has also shamed me for not doing all of my treatments 1x/mo (my life was total chaos -- major move, death in the family, job upheaval) and basically said I'd compromised all of my treatments by not doing them once a month. (It seems to have gotten better, but for awhile, the attitude from the front desk was really, really bad. Distinctly unhelpful and borderline snarky.) Then there was the time I went for one treatment and only realized after they'd pulled the machine up that they'd pulled the wrong machine -- they hadn't looked at my treatment plan. Then once I had a really painful treatment, only to be told AFTER the fact that I should have been given the stronger numbing cream, not the weak numbing cream. (Why have two? Why not just give everyone the strong one?) And once when I got botox, I specifically asked that the injector do it the way the previous injector there had done it (I didn't want too much botox), but there were no records or notes on what had been done before, and the new injector shot me up with far more botox than I needed or wanted. So, fine for the treatments themselves, but the place is far from a well-oiled machine in terms of management. You have to be super on top of them and expect them to fail. You have to ask them to keep records and look up records. You have to ask them explicitly to tell you how to prepare for treatments -- they'll just space on telling you. I get the sense that even the women doing the treatments know that the front desk/admin is hopeless.

I had an awful experience with Dr. David Cruz. They gave me a body scan each visit which was not something I requested. When the scan showed I had gained some fat between sessions, Dr. Cruz was extremely condescending and implied that there was something wrong with me/my lifestyle. Im not sure why he felt the need to tell me how HE felt about MY body unprompted. My primary care doctor thinks I am a healthy weight and I have a healthy BMI. Health is my number one priority so his opinion affected me a lot at the time. I think this was beyond unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable given we were in a setting where cosmetic procedures are sold. I never said I wanted to change anything about my body, all I was there for was reducing genetic neck fat. After some reflection, I can't help but feel like Dr. Cruz was trying to plant seeds of insecurity to try to push sales.

The girl who works the front desk, Libby, is a stalker who has been stalking kristen pro (me) for 14 years. She's a chronic harasser and master manipulator who lives her entire life trying to find ways to passively antagonize other women she's jealous of. All of her tattoos are copied and stolen from me. I proved her stalking online to which she tried to take me to court, then she surrendered once she saw my response and knew she wouldn't win. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I would not want anyone that obsessive having access to people's personal information. She moved out of Los Gatos because rumors spread everywhere about who she really is. She had to move somewhere where she could manipulate everyone into thinking she's a good person. Somewhere where no one knows who she really is- a wannabe. I'd avoid this business because you don't want to become her next victim. She stalked me to my highschool, stalked me to my old yoga studio and started working there, then stalked my ex boyfriend and applied at his job after cheating with him and breaking us up. This is a great Medspa, very modern, clean with great costumer service, everybody is helpful and nice. I went for lunch at Campo di Bocce - next door and I saw this nice new place that just opened. And let me tell you, that first experience was terrible. I felt every single injection and my lips afterwards were not proportionate. I was really hesitant after that to get fillers but a friend highly recommended Adrianne. She is really good at what she does. I did half a syringe again. Did not feel a single shot. She explained everything she did. She was super gentle and comforting. Best part, my lips came out amazing!!! I love them! I did have a bit of bruising, but I bruise from the simplest things anyways. She did such a great job, I will go back for another half at some point. I ended up going back to Encore for a hydra facial. That too was an amazing experience. This will be my go to spot for sure. Disappointing Experience…read more I purchased a package that included 3 microneedling sessions and 3 under-eye Easy Gel sessions. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. One of my biggest concerns was the preparation for microneedling. Each time I went, my face was not properly cleansed or prepared by the staff before the treatment. Instead, I was simply handed a cleanser to wash my own face. The cleanser provided did not adequately remove my sunscreen, and during my second microneedling appointment, I ended up bringing my own cleanser and washing my face myself at the sink before the procedure. I have had microneedling done at other places, and they properly cleanse and prepare my skin before starting the treatment. For a procedure that involves creating tiny channels in the skin, I personally expect proper cleansing and preparation as part of the service. As for the under-eye Easy Gel, I personally did not see the improvement I was hoping for. The downtime was also longer than I expected. I understand that downtime can vary from person to person and that this part is not necessarily the provider's fault, but because I was unhappy with the results, I decided that I did not want to proceed with my third session. I spoke with the staff about canceling the remaining session, and I was told that when a client asks for something like this, they can no longer be seen at their location. Honestly, after my experiences there, I had already decided that I did not want to return, so being told that they did not want to see me was very disappointing and unnecessary. I do want to say that I liked Nurse Carmen and appreciated her personally. My issue is more with my overall experience with the facility and the way my concerns were handled. I paid for a package expecting professional treatment and proper preparation, and unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. I hope they take this feedback seriously, especially when it comes to properly cleansing clients' skin before microneedling and treating clients respectfully when they have concerns about a service.

I can tell Anu really cares about her clients and about providing the best treatment. For someone like me, an infrequent user of clinical aesthetic treatments, it's so reassuring to be treated by someone as knowledgeable, empathetic, and professional as Anu. The staff are wonderful too, and the practice is all state-of-the-art equipment. My only other experience with clinical aesthetic treatment was 20 years ago on the other side of the country for hair removal, and it's clear the technology has come a long way.
