Several scheduling changes and finally, when I reached the appointment on the set day and time, my requested technician had not been assigned to me. An utter lack of professionalism displayed by Nila at the reception who trivialised the issue and behaved passive aggressively , rolling her eyes and muttering expletives under her breath, when, after being made to wait an additional 25 mins for my technician I shared with her why this was not okay. After already delaying my afternoon significantly, this person thought it's a good idea to tell ME, that I should either think about getting only half my service done that day or be prepared that my chosen technician will not have time to attend to my sensitive skin. HOW IS OKAY TO SUGGEST THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY MESSED UP THEIR SCHEDULING, THAT I SHOULD SHOW FLEXIBILITY TIME AND AGAIN? Of course when I told her again that this is not acceptable, there was more eye rolling, multiple "as I told yous", and finally the statement "I'm going to stop this conversation now as it's making me uncomfortable". Just wow. LOL. It is comic that when a customer calls them out on a mistake asking for it to be rectified, the staff felt "uncomfortable ". At that point I switched to speaking to the other girl at the reception who was much more coherent. And for what it's worth, for all the pre-warnings about my technician being overbooked and Nila asking me to cut short my service that day or use someone else, she found the time to "chat", shooting the breeze with my technician for the 15 mins after my session right there at the reception area...; so obviously neither of them were as busy as described. Laseraway really needs to keep better trained staff at their front desk rather than such teenagers who clearly need some help managing their emotions. Not the best first representatives of the brand name to the customer. This is not my first interaction with this location but definitely the first time I've seen such poor attitudes at their front desk, so much so, that I felt compelled to write this review. read more

SCAMMERS!!! Before you even talk to a sales rep, read reviews on other sites! I'm now stuck with a $3150 loan I wasn't even aware of. They pitch it like it's a finance through their company that you aren't locked into, like a pay as you go setup. They rush you over the phone to do a "credit check" which is actually a credit card application- they DO NOT TELL YOU THIS. I still don't even have a contract that I signed with them, and they refuse to even return my calls and texts. This is par for the course with them. I only used one session of ten for a tattoo removal, and the lender or laseraway keep giving me the runaround, and refuse to let me talk to anyone higher up. My sales rep is Karen, do not trust her. DO NOT go to this LaserAway. They are unprofessional and they are NOT consistent in their policies and how they apply them. I went in for IPL treatment and previously I've used numbing cream with no issue. The nurse got scared and told me she had to "escalate" it and they refused my treatment. I had IPL 2 months prior and there was absolutely NO issue with it. The nurse at that appt went and had it cleared with no problem. I've had it done at different MedSpas and they actually give patients numbing cream beforehand! The front desk staff is loud, they sit up there and gossip and talk loudly while customers are waiting. I asked to speak to a manager and the nurse led me up to the front to one of the girls sitting around talking. She just continued to sit there rolling around on her stool. Didn't stand up and speak to me in a professional manner. She offered no solutions. All they kept saying is "it's our policy." I said it wasn't your policy 2 months ago. Also, another issue I had previous is that I bought a Brazilian laser hair removal maintenance package. I called to schedule an appt for the last treatment and the woman told me that they had done more treatments than I paid for and therefore could not finish my package. First off, that was incorrect. Second, even if it was correct that was YOUR mistake and you taking service away from a loyal (at the time) customer, is horrible business practice and lost LaserAway any future business from me. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for. This location used to be professional and pleasant to come for treatments but they have really fallen off. When I first started getting Botox, I went to Laser Away in Dublin but over the last few years it's gone downhill, or maybe I just started to better understand what expectations to have. There has been a big turnover in employees over the last 2 years and I'm guessing many are very inexperienced. I've had more bad experiences than good. It's probably been 4 separate occasions that I have had to go back for a touch up because one eyebrow is noticeably higher than the other, and at least two of those times the touch up has made it worse and I've just had to wait it out for months. I have some really special occasions/trips where I hate all of the photos because my eye is totally pushing down because of bad botox from this Laser Away location. If you can schedule with the one good injector that's still there, you'll be fine but otherwise it's a total crap shoot to how the result will be. There's a lot of other med spas and places to have this kind of service done -- I highly suggest going elsewhere. read more

I've completed by 10 treatments and wanted to follow up. Every time I got a treatment there was a different coverage area if that makes sense. They were never consistent. Some would cover an area and say it was included and the next person would not want to do it and have to confirm or go get the nurse. There doesn't seem to be consistent training and/or protocal to follow. The place is really dirty and there's stuff thrown around each room I've been in. When there was a mask mandate in place the 2 to 3 ladies in the front never wore a mask when I went in. The only positive thing about this place was Carly who was truly amazing, professional and remembers every customers name. I also had several clear and brilliant treatments and I had no changes, I have fair skin so it wasn't because I have a darker skin color which tends to have no results or is not recommended for the treatment. Stay away! The sales person Karen, convinced me to purchase a few extra treatments in addition to the one I was planning on. She said if I changed my mind and didn't want to proceed with the extra services I could get a full refund. I confirmed with her that I could get my money back, not just store credit. I did change my mind and do not want the extra services I paid for in advance. Now, the store front doesn't process refunds, only store credit. They instructed me to call Karen if I wanted a refund. I've called Karen multiple times and called their customer service line multiple times weekly for the past month. They 'can't' give me the phone number of anyone else to reach out to and after each phone call promise I'll get a call back within 24-72hrs. I've not once received a call back. It so shady! I contacted LaserAway to complete laser tattoo removal that I had started at a different place. I was able to book a virtual consultation that same day, and my first session just a few days after that. They really waste no time! It was nice that they had such open availability, but interactions felt a bit rushed at times and I wish that they had more written-out pricing information, either online or at the front desk, but that's my personal preference. Pricing for tattoo removal is very good, especially for the Bay Area. They seem to prefer multi-session bundle pricing rather than giving a per-session cost and payment is done upfront. This is different from what I've experienced at other establishments, but their competitive pricing is what ultimately drew me in. I just wrapped up my first tattoo removal session with Amanda. The appointment started right on time and wrapped up very quickly. Since I had had tattoo removal done before, we didn't need to go over aftercare extensively and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. I didn't have numbing cream applied this visit, but plan on it for the next visit. She let me know that I could write a Yelp review and receive $50 off the total that the addition of numbing cream would cost for my remaining sessions, so here I am. So far, I've had a pleasant experience with LaserAway. Customer service has been great and I'm happy to be back on track with my tattoo removal sessions. read more

After two days I could tell something was wrong, my face was completely frozen and my brow had dropped, creating a hood over my eyes. My eyelids were heavy and I could feel my muscles having to work constantly to keep them open properly. When I reached out to tell them, I was given the run around and passed from one person to another. Eventually they just stopped responding. Thankfully this is a temporary procedure. I spoke to someone from LaserAway on the telephone first I told her what treatment I was interested in. She told me she would have a nurse contact me for a virtual appointment. The nurse contacted me for the virtual appointment and said yes I was a good candidate. Once I hung up the phone I received an email with an invoice and price. I contacted LaserAway again and I asked to be seen in person so that I could be told what exactly were they going to do for that amount of money. The lady then started saying that I should just go ahead and agree with the price because it was a promotion and would be ending soon. I reiterated to her I would be more comfortable with seeing someone in person. she suggested I come in immediately so that I don't lose the promotion price. She was located in the Milpitas location, I asked if the had a location closer to where I live. She then made the appointment for the Dublin location. I seen a nurse and she advised as to which treatment would give me the results I wanted. I then spoke with Bri who was the office Mgr explained to her what I was trying to achieve. She let me meet with two other nurses in which all three told me different treatments that would benefit me. So after awhile of me asking questions I finally decided on a treatment. Bri texted me an invoice in which I told her the amount was too expensive for me. She played around with the price and was able to reduce to an amount I could afford and also said she would throw in a couple of treatments for "free". The next day I checked my account and it was much higher then what I agreed to when in her office. I contacted her and asked why did the price go up and she kept insisting that was the amount I agreed to. The amount increased 3x while the charge was pending on my credit card. I contacted her again and told her that was no where near the amount I authorized to be charged. She said she felt offended because I was accusing her. I said I know my budget and I know for a fact that was not the agreed upon amount. I told her if they didn't cancel the charges on my account I would be filing a dispute for unauthorized charges. Just came for my Botox appointment and asked about laser hair removal maintenance. I was told I couldn't buy the maintenance package as I didn't but the original package from them. I explained I lived overseas when I started getting laser hair removal and that I had bought maintenance packages from here before. She maintained that I still had to buy a full package and that it was company policy and 'rules'. I suggested that perhaps I should go elsewhere and she said 'ok' - just as I, a current customer, was about to walk in for an appointment! They make you buy a package deal (bundle) for Botox thinking that you've got a great deal ($12.00 per unit VS $15.00) but the truth is they use all your units for one simple case without you as a client seeing any results and when you question their nurses knowledge as if they know what they are doing, they give you a very lame excuse and ask you to come back again to use the rest of your bank until is finished. Sadly they don't have a manager on site and you really don't know who's in charge to share your concern. I wasted $650.00 on Botox for 2 lines between my eyebrows and so far they have wasted 35 units of my 60 unit bank and I have seen no result yet and have to go back again while I could've gone somewhere else and paid full price per unit ($15.00) and saved $400.00 + the headache of making 3 trips to this place for nothing. Beth from Walnut Creek was helping out the Dublin location. She knew instantly that this is my first time getting laser. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!I contacted them to get Xeomin (Botox alternative) injections. Within few hours I got contacted by a person named Crystal, apparently she's their sales rep. I told her that I was getting Botox treatments for at least 7 years, and I told her the areas where I need the injections, upper and lower face. She recommended Xeomin, cheaper alternative of Botox, and I paid $1,200 for 150 units on May 15, 2022. I went for my first appointment on May 21, 2022, and learned that the place does NOT do lower face Xeomin injections! I knew that that's going to be a problem for me because the balance of the treated areas is very important for my face. Oh well, I decided to get the upper face done at the appointment, and look somewhere else that will do the lower face area, already a huge inconvenience for me. The photos are the result of that appointment as of today, June 12, 2022, approximately 3 weeks after the May 21, 2022 injections, which did not work well because they clearly have no clue what they're doing. I did not do the usual 2-weeks follow up because of my always busy work schedule. Today, June 12, 2022, I had an appointment at 12:45 to correct the half-ass job that was done the first time (3 weeks ago). I was 7 min late for my appointment, and they turned me away saying that they have a 5 min grace period. I can only come on weekends, but they said that they're booked several weekends ahead. So here I'm, without the $1,200 and the half-ass job done by them on my face. I asked for a refund, they said sure, no problem, they just need to look up my initial sales rep and they will contact her. I said that I have her number, started looking through my phone for her number and showed it to them. They said that of course they do know her and that I (!) , I should be the one contacting her if I want to get my refund sooner!! I purchased a package of 3 IPL treatments to deal with Melasma. I hoped to have more even skin tone. I also wanted to check out the office and staff and services for possible Clear and Bright treatment. The IPL was the perfect way to do that. The place is lovely (feels like a high-end spa) and very clean. The equipment is obviously current and well maintained. I've had aesthetic medicine including IPL, Fraxel Lazer, fillers and cosmetic peels. I know it's hard for small practices to use the most current technology, but Laser Away can do that. Before treatment, the nurses reviewed my file and knew settings and results I'd had previously. Annette was especially wonderful from start to finish. With staff like her, clients are WELL cared for in a way that will make you WANT to come back for other services. They see a high volume of clients, it didn't feel like an assembly line. Plus, I appreciate the skills gained by treating lots of clients each day. Other staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I was surprised to walk in 1X monthly for 3 months and be greeted by name. It felt like I was important, even though I'm not a regular client on a bigger package. Staff made it easy to explore options without obligation. I heard about other procedures but never felt pressured to buy them. They never "closed me." While technically it's sales, it felt like service. They simply provided information and asked if I had questions, had interest in any other services and if I wanted to register today. And THAT'S the kind of place I want to have additional services. It was great to see men in there, too. These services could be a great Xmas gift for guys who'd like to look as good as they feel. So I don't normally post reviews, but I just had to let people know about my experience. I recently purchased a full 8 session package for laser hair removal from Laseraway. When I had my first session, the person who was working on me kept making comments about how much hair I had and even asked me what my ethnicity was? I thought it was really rude, especially given that I'm already clearly insecure about the hair, hence why I'm paying so much money for this service! I've already paid for the other sessions, so I have to keep going. But just a quick warning to others! I had assumed that since the people working here see all types of hair all the time, they don't notice or judge. But apparently they do and will make comments about it to your face during your appointment :( If you're nervous about being judged, I'd try and find another laser place, there's so many in the area. read more

Okay so I'm going to post my embarrassing "before" photo just because my results so far have been amazing!!! I've been going to sessions since February (so about 8 months) and every single session was pleasant. The staff are friendly and I never felt rushed by the nurses. Most of the time, I am called in as soon as I arrive for my appt. There was only one time I had to wait ~15 minutes to be called in. I'm currently doing sessions on my underarms and recently started doing my upper lip. I'll have to update this review after a few more sessions for my upper lip. I can't remember how much I paid back in February... I think it was around ~$600 for 8 sessions for the underarms because they were doing a special. Pain level for the underarms: it was pretty painful in the beginning because I had so much hair. Keep in mind the sessions are not very long so the pain was bearable. After a while, I just got used to the laser. Pain level for the upper lip: none. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the air going into my nose. They were done with my upper lip in less than a minute so it wasn't too bad. I used to be so embarrassed about my underarm hair and ingrown hair. I actually tried electrolysis prior to this but it was taking too long so I wanted to try laser. I am so glad I did! I mean the photo speaks for itself. I rarely have to shave anymore - only prior to my appointments. My armpits are so smooth now and this is honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made!!! Thank you LaserAway! read more

I had a really good experience here. I bought 2 groupons for a medium sized area and didn't read the fine print that said you cannot use more than 1 groupon for the same area. Luckily, there was a black Friday sale and I was able to apply my credits to 8 sessions for underarm and I additionally bought 8 session for Brazilian. My consultation was straight forward and very informative. I got really lucky and was able to be seen for my first session right after! What luck! They let me shave since I wasn't prepared. I didn't know I was going to be seen that day so I didn't prepare. The procedure was so fast and painless. I think total for both underarms and Brazilian had to be like 15 minutes tops.
