Good for arranging birthday party celebrations for the kids, however it is expensive compared with the included fun activities and the time.

A friend of mine invited us to go to this place for laser tag…read more I had no idea what I was getting myself into. She said I needed to arrive 15 mins before because I needed to create my profile and would go through some orientation. When I arrived there she asked why I was wearing jeans... like what? what's wrong with wearing jeans? and then I saw she was dressed like if she was going to the gym... she told me it was going to be a good workout session and she didn't lie about that... The orientation included how to use the gun and its different settings, then how to wear the headband and the vest. We were randomly split into two teams and there was one person on each team explaining us each of the missions and goals. It was intense!! We were running, ducking, hiding, shooting all the time. There was no time to rest! At the end of each mission we would see the leaderboard and see how we were doing within our team and against the other team. After the session was over, I got an email with my session summary including accuracy, number of deaths, and session rank. The layout is pretty good, plenty of space to run around and some spots where you can hide. In general it was a very fun but also challenging experience.

Take CAUTION when booking at this place as you may show up and not have your session time honoured…read more Make alternative plans if you do so. My group and I used to be regular customers who come twice a week in large groups of 10+ people. We drive 30 minutes to get here and provide a good level of business to this start-up. The last time we showed up, the 8pm session that we had booked was started early without our large group to accommodate 4 players who apparently were there really early. This came at a shock to us as they assumed that we would be ok with having them bump our session to 9:30pm, took our business for granted and offered no apology. It was no big deal to them. Typically we would have just left given how we were treated, but since we were already there, we decided to give them a chance and asked to join mid-session and even waited 45 minutes to do so. This was on Sunday night and we all had work early the next morning. Right as we entered the room to gear up, a staff member stormed out of another room and began screaming at us to gear up if we want to play, as if it's all our fault and that they are doing us a favour by allowing us to join mid-session. They forgot that we are paying customers and didn't seem to care that they were the ones who screwed us over by having the session start before 8pm. This was when the tipping point for us was reached and we walked out and asked for a refund. We came here to have a good time. Not to get screwed over, wait around and waste our time, and then get yelled at by a staff member. And worst of all, they didn't seem to care...so we won't be going back!

This place was kind of a miss to be honest. We recently held a 10 year old boy birthday party…read morehere. The facilities are cluttered and kind of dirty. I am not super picky (especially in that kind of a place) but when 10 year old boys are commented on how dirty the floors and party rooms are, you know there are some cleaning issues. Just saying. We booked two games of laser tag each. The equipment wasn't turned on properly for the first game so it didn't really work which they fixed for the second game but no apology or added games were offered. A couple of the kids have been there before and they said compared to Laser Quest, this place isn't as good as the equipment often glitches. They have a program where you order food through them from Domino's pizza before the kids go to play and ideally the pizza has arrived when they are done. It was but it was sitting behind their counter and we had to ask for it. Only then did they bring plate and cups for the pop. It kind of seemed like all the workers just hang out there for fun and the customers were interrupting their socializing. At one point they were bargaining with one another as to who would need to serve us? Not exactly top service, even for a recreation facility. The kids had fun and the pizza was hot and tasty (thanks Dominos) so I'll stick with 2 stars. But this place might be a case of "you get what you pay for" and you might be better off at the more expensive Laser Quest. Also of note, there were 1-2 dogs on site, roaming the lobby. Friendly dogs (and I love dogs) but when you have 2 allergic kids with you who aren't yours, you are more aware of how "dogs at the workplace" may not be a good idea as a business practice.

Since the first time I took my kids to play laser tag they've been hooked. Every weekend they ask…read more Every. Weekend. I think they think daddy is made of money or something. When my cash flow allows and I just need to shoot my kids (with lasers that is), Lasertrek is my first choice. It has a wide expansive location, and even more importantly, is considerably less expensive than it's competition. My only negative is that since it's a hidden on Flint road, the amount of people who play there is definitely less than it's competition. They also have airsoft games at night which I think I might try and convince "the boys" to try rather than pubbing it up one night. Those buggers need to be shot bigtime and lasers won't be enough. 19/30
