Surprisingly I have not yet been out here in the Fall which is when I know most people come out to visit. We came to visit over the Canada Day long weekend to see the Roo's. They also had free fudge on offering for the long weekend. Definitely kid centric so we just visited the Roo's then went on with our day. Would be nice to come back in the Fall, do the corn maze and pick out some pumpkins.

For $13 the corn maze is complete crap. Can see my shadow running away for days.

I personally LOVE animals, so the Kangaroo & Wallaby petting zoo was what I was most interested in.

The marshals can control them remotely and slow down or speed up all the karts. I felt that the marshals did a great job of making sure everyone was safe and keeping an eye on the track. That was reassuring for me as it was my 11-year-old brother's first time here. There was even a safety video explaining what to do and not to do on the track. The marshals were very kind and helpful. Cons: We came on a weekday because we figured it would be less busy and we were right. However, we waited for hours and hours between races. We were there for a total of four hours just to do three races for one person. I understand that they separate the races by skill and they wouldn't put a beginner (my younger brother) with skilled racers. There needs to be a better way though. They have two vending machines, a couple of arcade games, that's it. There's also nothing around the area to do except for the Rec Room. My brother really enjoyed racing, but the wait was just too long and the races too pricey. I'm assuming if you are coming in as a group the wait will go by faster. I would recommend making a reservation for this place and bringing something to do (cards, Nintendo Switch, etc) while you 're waiting, because you will be doing a lot of it.

I was devastated to hear how your employees - youths have been treated by guests form East India…read more All family from India have been cornered your employees 16-18 years old - yelling at them and threatening them, just because your rides are not convenient for not tall enough kids. There are some rules that guests don't want to obey, and when your employees-youths tried to explain the rules, they got cornered, yelled at and even threatened with guests hands up to them.  That is so unacceptable and there needs to be more older supervisors and managers to help your employees-youths and not allow anybody to treat them as a shit.  Employees-youths at Calaway park have been paid minimum wadge and should be treated with all respect as anybody else in this country. Something must be done about these issues - as a society and as Canadians, we should protect our employees, especially youths-kids while working at such a place. They should have more protections at the work then 18-year-old supervisor, who got yelled as well for half an hour by the same people. If we don't do anything about it, we fell as a society.

It was Fall when we last went and, it was so cold (wind) on the rides. If you go in Fall, bring gloves/mittens. Lines were longer this time. Park was clean. We loaded up with our own sandwiches, snacks and water. It was easy to manage as we could snack through out the whole day. It was easier since we prefer healthier options too. Admission is $51.95 plus tax. We went after 2pm and paid $35.95 each. It was busy and we didn't get on as many rides as the first time. The first time (2017), the after 2pm rate was half or close to half-off. Like the hand sanitizer at each ride, though I didn't see anyone using it. I had an immunocompromised guest so we just 'sanitized' with a sanitizing wipe as we went around. Saw one staff member wiping down a ride. Lots of places to sit and rest. If you have mobility concerns, you can rent a wheelchair. I think a mobility scooter would be so much more efficient. Notice the Gift Shop is open to 7:15 pm so you have a bit of time once the rides stop to have a look around. Bring cash if you want to play the games or do the bonus activities. It was ok. Kids loved it.

This place was kind of a miss to be honest. We recently held a 10 year old boy birthday party…read morehere. The facilities are cluttered and kind of dirty. I am not super picky (especially in that kind of a place) but when 10 year old boys are commented on how dirty the floors and party rooms are, you know there are some cleaning issues. Just saying. We booked two games of laser tag each. The equipment wasn't turned on properly for the first game so it didn't really work which they fixed for the second game but no apology or added games were offered. A couple of the kids have been there before and they said compared to Laser Quest, this place isn't as good as the equipment often glitches. They have a program where you order food through them from Domino's pizza before the kids go to play and ideally the pizza has arrived when they are done. It was but it was sitting behind their counter and we had to ask for it. Only then did they bring plate and cups for the pop. It kind of seemed like all the workers just hang out there for fun and the customers were interrupting their socializing. At one point they were bargaining with one another as to who would need to serve us? Not exactly top service, even for a recreation facility. The kids had fun and the pizza was hot and tasty (thanks Dominos) so I'll stick with 2 stars. But this place might be a case of "you get what you pay for" and you might be better off at the more expensive Laser Quest. Also of note, there were 1-2 dogs on site, roaming the lobby. Friendly dogs (and I love dogs) but when you have 2 allergic kids with you who aren't yours, you are more aware of how "dogs at the workplace" may not be a good idea as a business practice.

Since the first time I took my kids to play laser tag they've been hooked. Every weekend they ask…read more Every. Weekend. I think they think daddy is made of money or something. When my cash flow allows and I just need to shoot my kids (with lasers that is), Lasertrek is my first choice. It has a wide expansive location, and even more importantly, is considerably less expensive than it's competition. My only negative is that since it's a hidden on Flint road, the amount of people who play there is definitely less than it's competition. They also have airsoft games at night which I think I might try and convince "the boys" to try rather than pubbing it up one night. Those buggers need to be shot bigtime and lasers won't be enough. 19/30
