Just go... everything is excellent and extremely well priced for a casino. My family and I had the pleasure of dining here Aug '26. Normally we venture out but after a long day we decided to stay at the resort and take our chances. Boy are we glad we did! The food was so good, we went back the next night before a round of minigolf next door! Rick the manager (I believe that was his name), was very friendly and welcoming. The only comment I can make is the service could be improved slightly. Both of our servers were fine but could have been a bit more attentive. We 100% will return as we live an hour away. You really cannot go wrong!
Make a reservation when you know you're coming to this place. We came here as a group of five super hungry. We came here during the FIFA cup matches, the energy was super high in the restaurant and all over. They have a very huge and my bar area where you can eat there. Then they have a separate dining area that caters to parties of all sizes. For appetizers, we had the La Scala salad, long stuffed peppers, a pizza, fried artichokes, the chicken wings,calamari, and the fried mozzarella. As I said, we came super hungry, so we went overboard with the appetizers, but this alone filled us all, and we were already full before the entrées even arrived. Every single dish hit and there was no miss. The chicken wings were so good that it convinced a pescatarian that was in ur party to have a piece. For entrées, we had the Diablo pasta, lasagna, tortellini with prosciutto in a truffle sauce, spicy vodka pasta with chicken cutlet and burrata with hot honey on top. Also all hit and no miss at all. Everything was absolutely delicious. There was no room for dessert but cant wait for next time. Highly recommended if youre looking for italian during your next AC trip! SERIOUSLY EVERYTHING WAS SO DAMN YUM!
What a wonderful night! I'd only been to my area (Marlton) Lascala's once prior for lunch with my girlfriend. Good food, but I recall small portions? This experience was different. I love Caesar salads and had one with added breaded chicken - big and phenomenal! Excellent croutons too! JT got a personal vodka pie with varied meats that he thoroughly enjoyed. Our server, Jeff, was great and super accommodating. There was a DJ tucked in a high corner, playing really good music. I loved the black and white decor too. I truly have no cons for this place!
Our server Reagan was on the ball. She made sure to check on us often. Our drinks were always timely and the food came out quickly. The cheesesteak eggrolls were full on thin shaved beef and were sitting in a creamy cheese sauce. The were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The artichokes were in a yummy vinaigrette and were fried nicely. The wings were meaty and tangy, just how you would want them. The ricotta with honey was creamy and sweet and the bread on the side was warm and fresh. There was live music this afternoon, which made it a fun and festive atmosphere. The location makes it great as who doesn't want to have a dance party on the beach?
Stopped in for dinner before going to a show and it didn't disappoint, it was very good, loved the atmosphere and the vibes of the place. Service was good and food came out fast. I got the seafood fried Diablo and it was excellent. Pasta was cooked perfect seafood tasted fresh and was cooked very well also. The pasta is definitely made in house. The sauce was good as well. The prices were very good normal Italian restaurant prices.
LaScala's Fire at Ocean Casino has something for everyone, from Classic American-Italian, to Sushi, and a kids menu. I got the Rigatoni Vodka, and later came back for the Crispy Rice Sushi to go. When ordering with a group they bring out everything as it's ready to go, so your meal will come out hot, not luke warm. Service was excellent. A beautiful restaurant to bring the whole family.

We ordered a mixed variety for our group - some items were perfectly seasoned and some were bland and some were salty... Ricotta board was good...in my opinion the best item we ordered...followed by the calamari (some parts were salty but overall good) Short rib pizza was just okay. Baked lasagna was made well but a tad salty for me. Meatball parmigiano panini was bland so it was a bit disappointing. Fries were okay. Eggplant parmigiano pasta was cooked just right. Angel hair pasta with crab was good as well. Tasted well made. The lemon crab and shrimp over linguine was overpowered by the lemon juice...Made the whole dish a bit off-putting. The restaurant itself was clean. Service was good and attentive. Overall 3.5 out of 5 stars...rounding down to 3 since yelp doesn't do half stars.
This is a hip restaurant that is overflowing with excitement and energy. The place was packed! Our server was excellent. He was friendly, funny, and attentive to our table. The appetizers were fantastic. The calamari was crisp and a bit spicy. Not chewy. The Brussel sprouts--I could've eaten them all night. Salty, sweet, with that perfect sprout crunchiness. And you can never go wrong with bacon. And, of course, you can't go to LaScala without ordering the Ricotta Board! Just dip those strips of crunchy-chewy piadina bread into the sweet ricotta laced with honey. So good!! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken piccata. Tender cutlets of chicken smothered w a light, lemony sauce, with capers adding a bit of brine and tang. I didn't have room for dessert, but others at my table did order. Each were combinations of warm, chocolatey, brownies, marshmallows, ice cream, all drizzled with more chocolatey goodness. Others reported their entrees were amazing as well (eg. Rigatoni Vodka, Alicia's Sunday Dinner.) If it seems like I'm playing it up, it's because the food is that good. But, going to La Scala is always more than that. It's an experience.
LaScala's Fire is a great addition to Oceans array of fine dining restaurants as it delivers a vibrant take on Italian/American cuisine in a sleek, black and white setting. Located at the food district where Serendipity use to make their home. The food shines with homestyle authenticity, but service inconsistencies slightly mar the experience. We had the following: Fried calamari, chicken Parmigiano, chicken marsala, chicken san remo, spaghetti with white clam sauce, mussels in red clam sauce, Italian sausage bolognese and cheese pizza. The Proteins are perfectly seasoned, especially the crispy chicken cutlets smothered with sweet tomato sauce. The preparations are fresh, and pastas retain ideal al dente texture, no overcooked pasta here. Our server was Awesome, but some of the food runners were robotic, delivering dishes and showing zero engagement, no smiles or eye contact. While efficient, the lack of warmth felt transactional, especially compared to the otherwise attentive waitstaff. The dishes arrive as they're ready, a policy our server explained to us, so tables may receive courses at different times. Fortunately, all our food came out pretty quick. Now you have a choice between LaScala and Oceans other Italian restaurant, Linguini by the sea. Both offer delicious Italian fare. Try them both, you won't be disappointed.

Located inside Oceans, it was our second time here and we've been to other locations as well. Sat at the bar as always and enjoyed interacting with our bar person, Vicki! Vicki was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made great drinks. I enjoyed the sushi but was stuffed after the apps (cheesesteak egg rolls and the meat ball's). We'll of course be back again!

My family and I cannot wait to come back here! Located in Oceans Casino, you definitely should make a reservation if you plan on going for dinner. While trying to figure out plans, I procrastinated making my reservation and we ended up having to dine slightly earlier than we expected. While that was totally on me, just stressing to make a reservation to secure your desired time. We had a party of five and were in for my dad's birthday. We started with a chopped salad, lasagna soup, mussels, a spicy tuna sushi roll and the shrimp pompeii. Everything was so good! The only complaint was that a handful of mussels did not open so weren't able to be eaten. Every table around us received complimentary bread and we did not until asked. Quite honestly, while we did receive good service, the waitress had absolutely no personality. As entrees we had the seafood fra diavolo, chicken parm, eggplant parm, chicken Milanese and the short rib panini. Everyone loved their meals. We were overly full by the end of meal so we only ordered one cannoli. Because I told them it was my dad's birthday in the reservation and in person, they presented it on a happy birthday plate which was so nice. They do not sing but do put a candle in the dessert. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. read more

Solid food choice at Ocean casino. Service was friendly. Lots of variety on the menu. Had the caprese salad and it was very flavorful. Added the crab meat and it was a nice sized portion. Would eat here again. read more

I was eager to try this new offering at Ocean and was somewhat disappointed. We were seated in the back past the bar and found the music to be extremely loud. For what appears to be a more upscale casual I expected the music to be a bit subdued. But it was electronic dance music at a very high volume. I could not hear the wait staff when greeting us and answering questions. We made a point of paying attention as we left to see if it was just because we were in the back, but it was the same volume in the front as well. That being said I found my salad to be delicious! All ingredients were fresh and it was ample serving for a meal. The table next to us shared a salad with an appetizer and it was plenty for both of them. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert! I look forward to trying it again-hoping they work out the volume issue- so that ican get something less filling and try dessert, read more

A great addition to Ocean Casino LaScala's fire!! We visited AC this weekend and stayed at the Ocean Casino for our family dinner. We decided to try the newly open restaurant and we're so glad we did. We had a 5 PM reservation and we were warmly welcome by the staff upon arrival we received it right away and the service throughout the evening was excellent. Our server was friendly attentive and make sure we had everything we needed. We ordered four different dishes and every single one was delicious. Portions were generous and flavors were outstanding everyone was completely satisfied with their meals. The food came out quickly, so there was no wait which is always appreciated when dining with family. It was very happy with our choice and would highly recommend checking out this spot. My husband and I are regulars at LaScala's in Marlton. So, when in AC, I we had to try the new LaScala's in the Ocean Casino. We were not disappointed! We were warmly greeted by Betty a hostess we had known from other shore establishments. She informed us that the bar hadn't opened yet due to liquor license just getting approved but assured us the food and service would be wonderful. We were seated at a cozy booth. Our waiter Rob who is actually a server from Marlton gave us fantastic service. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and the restaurant's growth. By the way the place is big and beautiful! We ordered the shrimp appetizer and it was yummy! Our entree was the chicken panini which was huge, loaded with tomatoes, peppers and greens. The fries were to die for hot and plentiful. We left the restaurant stuffed and satisfied. Hats off to LaScala's because you've done it again. Can't wait to come back when the bar is fully stocked and running. On vacation so we decided to try this new place at Ocean casino & resort ! It was amazing to say the least ! Our server Bryan was the best :) He was funny helpful & great personality all around. Great service! The manager was also walking around & very attentive! The food was a 10/10 the servings are huge & shareable, Everything that came out of the kitchen looks delicious with great presentation! The prices are so very reasonable and such a cool atmosphere with a dj playing great tunes. You must try it it's awesome you won't regret it read more

We had the pleasure of dining at LaSCALA'S FIRE for a late lunch today, and our experience was great. The hosts were friendly and informative. The restaurant offered a range of mouth-watering dishes, our waiter, (had an Italian name that I couldn't pronounce & now forget) provided top-notch service. Six hungry but indecisive guests can be tricky, and we were!! Lascala's décor is both beautiful and classic. Seeing huge black & white photo's of movie stars of days long gone was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable, considering the foods quality and immense portions. We all left very satisfied and I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. From the Chianti to the Old Fashioned's, the pizza's, hot chicken sandwich to the Frutti de Mare, the lemon cello & the chocolate cake. We loved it all. Left with boxes upon boxes to take home! Will absolutely go back. On another note, I don't think I've ever seen so many restaurant staff in one place before. read more

I just got here and we had the meatball trio for appetizer over the top delicious serve extremely fast so get ready for it when you order it little noisy but that's OK. It's a casino. What do you expect? read more

I was told they opened just yesterday, so today is only their second day. Our server, Liz, was friendly and helpful. They have an open-concept kitchen, so as soon as a dish is ready, it comes right out. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the place is nicely decorated. If you're craving Italian food, you won't be disappointed--and the tiramisu was the best I've had so far. read more

First off, I don't understand why LaScala's Fire AC doesn't have it's own Google Business Page like all of the other LaScala Restaurants do. That gives me the impression that the owners are not as invested in their location inside Ocean Resort and Casino as they are in their other outposts. When we visited LaScala's had just opened so they did not have a license to serve alcohol yet, so their beautiful bar was just there to look pretty and not be touched. Service was very nice. Our waiter knew how to put on the Italian charm and he was kind and helpful. We tried the crispy artichoke appetizer. This was our favorite dish. It was hot, flavorful and fun to share. I definitely recommend. We also shared the Fire's Favorite panini. This was a hunk of sandwich. It was stacked. I enjoyed it, but the prosciutto was a little too rare for my liking. And we shared the Chicken Picatta. It could have been hotter. We were advised that it was big enough for two, but honestly it could work as an entree for one. Since, we also had the panini, everything worked out. Flavors were on point. The atmosphere was fun and exciting, especially because it was brand new. But the casino restaurant scene in Atlantic City is competitive, so you really have to impress your guests to make a lasting stand. read more
